Two Sunday Poems!

Embedded image from another site

(1) Bitter Sweet

There she was
just a few feet away

Glossed lips
Powdered face
Faux lashes
Contoured cheeks

We locked eyes
then she looked away
cold and distant

Maybe she was
tempting me
to walk in her fire

She was sweet
like sugar

Sugar is what tempts us
pouring upon
our wildest fantasies

Sugar gives us cavities
rots our teeth
our soul
our world

It seems
vanity is
always in style...

(2) Eternal Return

Embedded image from another site

Within the nightly beach wind
my tear soaked path
is renewed with splendor...

Under the moonlit sky
the stars light her black hair...

Surely
she waits...

My new found love
drive away the tenacious evil
the bats of hatred, malaise and anger
the greed of pure lust
from the belfry of my thoughts...

Jasmine incense of answered prayers
I contemplate you
burning all night on the alter
of my lonely heart...

Continuously my passion breath
does not hesitate to chant your name...

From these eyes the Gulf wind
roars and stirs turbulent waves
while I wait for you
to count the stars with me...

My life has been an endless winter
bring to me a warm Spring embrace
do not allow the eternal snow
destroy the tender shoots of love...

Return lover of lovers
pull from me
this poisoned Cupid's arrow
from this your eternal devotees
smitten heart....

Moon dance

Silvery streaks of moonlight
peeking in my window
Teasing and caressing my senses

The palm trees stand silent observers
To this shimmering thief
Illuminating my night

The desire to walk and bathe in its incandescent glow
Is overpowering

So
naked am I
As I succumb to its bewitching charm
And raise my arms to dance
silently
slowly
Feeling the glorious light on my skin
I am blissful

Whimsical Thoughts

The winding lane twists and turns
as it meanders up hill and down dale
stretching far ahead, a silvery thread
glistening and glinting beckoning me on

Peaceful countryside noises abound in the air
cooing of woodpigeons, rapid tapping of woodpecker
raucous cries of rooks nesting in the trees nearby
low mooing of cows and bleats from the young lambs

As I journey onwards beneath the vibrant blues skies
I come to a brow and there stretched out before me
a landscape so picture perfect it moves me to tears
verdant hues of green from the meadows scent filled air

This is where I want to be and to grow gracefully old
to put down my roots and settle in this peaceful vale
to wake each day to the glories of nature each different
something new to catch my eye and fill me with delight

A place to rest with natures bounteous treasures spread
to revive a weary soul to heal the ravishes of every day life

Dont you lie...

I feel like Pinnochio,
Only a toy,
Hoping, just wishing,
I was a real boy,
All of me made of pieces, parts,
A walking talking work of art,
Screws, dowels, wooden pins,
Everything that's holding me in,
Pulling strings,
I dance and jig,
While the Puppet Master,
Laughs and grins...

Long Gone Days

Embedded image from another site

Frozen solid but as the sun still shines
Melting away my existence with layers in time
Growing from cold until warmth bleeds sober
Silent screams pass away as I get older
A darkened heart swallowed by a wonderful glow
As my individual colors become like a rainbow
My will it still breaks me even as I get stronger
A pale masked rider delights in the weight of armor
Affixed upon summer lights reflecting from a faceless crown
A sea of sorrow is where I swim to until I tire and drown
Follwing along the horizons edge, but my eyes fall away
Reaching for the surface I struggle from the ripples of my own wake

These tears are of my own surrender
The light is my hands lifting You up in faith
As I pray to my Defender
The One who has counted all of my days
This Fear is from my own confessions
In my weakness You have given me stregnth
In Your love I have found protection
In Your mercy I have found grace
But I often get so lost God
To those long gone days

Thoughts

Is their is any one to Love

Is their is any one trust my Love

Is their is any one to feel my feeling

Is their is any one to bring my Lost Love to me

Is their is any one to feel my Pain as his own Pain

Is their is any one to bring me out of Dark

No no Come with me to See the Light

Come with me to feel the Love of Soul

Darkness is why Dark

It has no Light that's why we call it drakness

Come with me out of the drakness

I will show you the Light

The Light of Soul
The Light of Spirit
The Light of Love

The Feeling of Pain n Sarrows the Feeling of UnLoved.

You will See All
Which I Stated Above

In the Light of Soul Spirit and Love

my poet friends

What i wrote tonight,
It's already forgotten.
Whom i met and befriend,
To me they are worth a fortune.

A zero is just plain nothing,
Add a one to it and it is something.
I am really a nobody,
Unless i have you on my friend list.

Flowers and messages that you've sent,
Makes my day a little bit better.
To hear from you with words of honey,
Is a blessing to be among the living.

Parasite

Embedded image from another site

I love her madly, today I love her even more
I'm just so disappointed with the outcome
Her love once consumed me with fire, but now the burning is done
All that's left is the choking smoke then theres the tiredness from boring dilemma
Love gets fingered knuckle deep, but oh well is all I can say
If I peel away this blistered skin just to make it bleed
Then will you pour salt inside the infection to stimulate me
A most unpleasant way for anyone to feel
But for me at least I know its real
So draw a dotted line around this heart of mine
I no longer think I need you
Surgically severing my siamese twin is the only way to kill her memory,
my homicidal parasite

love?? worthey of scarafice

Silly disputes, meaningless words, missunderstandings, they say love concours all. They lie!!! love is a figment of mans own delusion. This so called love runs into retreat when put to the test of time. Mankind is so selfish they fill there hearts with woes. Love is nothing more then personal tears leaving the heart to harden over the years.

Forever Gone

The sunshines gone
Grey skies loom over the horizon
The leaves scatter amongst the trees
Thunder strikes in the far off distance
What once was a bright sky full of life
Now holds the sun as prisoner
Lost is the true free spirit
Now being bekoned by the darkness
The world carries on as if all is the same
Only one thing matters to the soul
Life is cradled by love
Broken is a soul to be lost
Scars bare deep perhaps to never heal
Perhaps the fate of this soul is sealed
enternally trapped among grey colourless skies
never again to apreciate true beauty with its eyes
Distance proves the curse holds strong
True love now forever gone
