Falling

Embedded image from another site

Nikki, since the
times you've come
I have become the afternoon
that longs for your shadow
the moon
that longs for your stars...

You the lovely cloud
of perfume and laughter
that I have always sought
under a moon without an iris
with you my small still pool
filled with hope and purpose...

You have become
a hypnotic evanescent cloud
shading me
as I paint your name
it is
kissed by the sun...

Since I have met you
I am falling
and continue to fall

like a flock
of blind doves
into your cloud of mystery
that is you
my song in the wind...

CONVERSATION BETWEEN LOVERS

Hi honey! so how was your day?
good dear! and how was yours?
Well, just a fairy tale.

Can i have your ears?
So how many women did you gape at today
Shut up! you're being jealous , replied the man
No tell me, i'm serious and curious says Doreen

Well down to lovers business.
I have never tasted a lover's pudding
It only happens once a year
So romantic is the twenty fourth hour on valentine's day
You mean lover's day?
Commercial ploy"lover's day"
Everyday is lover's day,
A day is not sufficient for love
You see what i mean? lover's day a commercial ploy?

Honey, i feel romantic, and my jerusalem is already wet
What are you still waiting for?
I'm in a dream land baby,
imagining the journey to walk in the inn
I like to walk in with dignity,
If i arrive, how long will it take to complete the assignment?

Stop asking foolish question before my oil broke out!
Give me a hug and a kiss before the morning bell rings.
What a great night out with lovers.
Lovers have feelings! It's dawn.

About this poem:
Lovers can have any conversation, anything they say have a love pattern. They are happy, but some still believes on valentine's day, without knowing that, there is nothing like lover's day, because love doesn't last for a day. Lovers are people who have feelings for each other.

From the abyss

Embedded image from another site

The look in her dark eyes
filled my abyss
melting into my being
I knew she was mine
no more agonizing breaths
or prolonged hallucinated deaths..

Then the Archangel arrived
his mighty sword fell
upon the oak that had flourished
behind my garden wall
shadows would not return
nothingness went away...

I thought the world
to my astonishment
would crumble wrapped in rubble
of the total ruin of this firmament..

Then I saw in her
the earth in peace on high
the ocean blue, the current pure
the world so calm and serene the sea!

True love will cross all 'Boundaries'.

A thousand miles between us separates our love.
Across the wires and airwaves we found each other.
Amidst our lonely lives sheltered from emotions.
Someone healed our wounded hearts someone from above?

It seemed impossible at first how could this surely be.
We couldn’t see each others face or even hear our voices.
Yet in just a while a fire was lit and our love burst into flames.
Then I knew we had to meet for this was our final destiny.

Why wait a lifetime with all its ups and downs and many complications.
Living a lie over many years with all the heartaches and pain.
With that fateful vision of ‘deaths door’ forever coming closer.
I then find my soul mate at last for how long is speculation.

Maybe a day, a month or a year how long in this life none can know.
But to spend however much time in each others arms will suffice.
For I know in my heart now that we’ve met all of eternity waits.
We’ll now be together life after life and our love will stronger grow.

DARKNESS TO LIGHT

The sky grew dark and gray
The earth and trees began to sway
All living creatures trembled in fear
As the end of the world felt near

The scent of blood and death was in the air
Cries of pain and agony were heard
Carried on the winds causing great fear
Not knowing the cost of forgiveness came dear

Mankind’s Light of the World died that day
And the darkness of souls were portrayed
Down into the Tomb of Hell the Light was placed
The Sacrificial Lamb of Grace

The Light of the World was in darkness for 2 days
Despair and hopelessness of all rampaged
Without the Light feeling bewildered and lost
Watching the Tomb of Hell covered in moss

The morning of the third day
The Light of the World again shown to display
That the Tomb of Hell was open and bare
A miracle had just happened there

The soul had risen from sin’s Hell
The Light of the World had arose to tell
All had been forgiven their sins
If they ask for it through Him

Thus Mankind’s physical body dies
But his spirit will live and rise
For the Lamb of Grace was the ultimate sacrifice
We have his gifts of Light and Eternal life

The Light of the World was snuffed out
For 2 days and nights in darkness and doubt
The third morning it shone again
To Light the World and Heavens without sin

About this poem:
4/9/2023: Another Easter has arrived and he has given this World so many chances. Will we have one more year of chances? Orig. message: Recently saw the movie "Risen" and it inspired me to write this poem. I usually like to write something light and more about nature. However, Palm Sunday - Good Friday - and Easter are coming up and I wanted to do something in honor of all the suffering my Lord and Savior went through and just how big a deal it was for all of Mankind. Thank you for reading even if it wasn't quite your cup of tea.

School Girl Crush

Embedded image from another site

She asked,
girlfriend #1,2 or 3
what number am I?
all the other girls
just break your heart.

Will you be my love?
my one and only?
say "I love you"
from me to you is weird
from you to me
is a dream come true.

3 is a crowd
1 is lonely
2 is just right.

When our eyes meet
I know it is not just fate
for us to be together
it is destiny.

I didn't believe
in love at first sight
until I met you.

For my eyes
I see only you
just to hear one day
that you love me.

You and me=one big happily ever after.

She says
love is a fiery torch
love is war
and love is hell.

I will steal you
from your lady.

You want me to love you?
your wish is my command.

The tree

Embedded image from another site

Is love
like wild sweet honey
that bees store
like the tender sap
that weeps from a tree at dawn?

Is it like sap
that flows from
the garden of a woman?
I am here now
with outstretched arms
waiting for her...

The night is cold
I have counted
the silver fingers of the moon
as I imagine
her fingers caressing
my hair...

Outside the wind blows
the night is filled with shadows
in my sky they are dying
as I wish to touch her face
I dream of turtledoves
cooing her to sleep..

Penzance to Exeter

It won’t take long
Not on the 12.42
It only has one stop
But oh! The view

Make sure you have your bag
That one where I wrote on the side
“Thanks for nothing”
I know you consider that sarcasm
But oh! The view

I packed all your things
A bottle of jealousy
That big can of bitterness
Your box of greed
Oh and not forgetting
A trunk full of hatred
I know they weigh heavily
But you carry them so well

Did you take that picture?
The one where I am smiling
I think I took it tomorrow
Never mind, I will post it on
I am sure you left a stamp
Its here somewhere
Buried amongst all the scars

The geese will get there quicker
For they carry no baggage
I think you forgot your toothbrush
But I will post it on, with the picture
I took tomorrow
Whilst you think of the view

I know you are constantly checking
But it definitely says “One way only”
Make sure your seat is by the window
Don’t the geese look superb?
Maybe one day they will return
For they carry no baggage
They just enjoy the view

What care I for your ill’s
It wasn’t I
That made you board the train
I only bear the guilt
For buying the ticket
Did you enjoy the view?

To Forgive

To forgive is sublime.
Bordering on devine.
Make the climb.
Perhaps it's time!

Sweet Sylvia, Sweet

Sweet Sylvia in the morning
dew clinging to every inch of her soft plush fur.

Her eyes of amber,
calming and iridescent showing what appears to be...no fear.

Sweet Sylvia, her coat like that of pure snow
before the first touch of daylight reaches its tendrils down to thicken the softly set snow.

Sweet Sylvia`s gentle features playing with my emotions.

Tense as I am, not at all used to these beings being this close;
close so that her breath and mine entwine.

I can see her sinewy muscles always between the position of moving forward,
or to the side to better define the human that stands before her.

Sweet Sylvia`s entrusting eyes help me overcome the fear of her power;
power of the soul I never realized she had.

Sweet Sylvia, Sweet.

About this poem:
Written 8-4-02, a lot of the wolf poems I write are about my personal struggles with pieces of myself, and this one had a lot to do with seeing beauty within myself, and trusting that it was real, and that I should accept it. On the other hand, it has a strong message about understanding the wolf which I think we are all still trying to do. Sylvia, is also a medicine woman up here, so the name seemed fitting.
