The Reasons You Are Beautiful

The Reasons You Are Beautiful

To the girl whose beauty is present in all seasons
I tell you why you are beautiful and here are the reasons:
Your beauty extends into the heavens,
It goes on to forever and never lessens.
Even when a cloud comes in and heightens,
Your light is here and the world brightens.
You are like a fruit that constantly ripens
Your beauty continues to grow no mater what happens.
My fondness for you goes out and never decreases,
Because every time I see you my heart rate increases.
You make every other girl appear hollow,
Where ever you are loveliness is sure to follow.
You shine so bright you cast your shadow into tomorrow,
A beauty that others would love to borrow.
But try as they might your beauty they will never match
Because loveliness like yours they could never catch.
Your beauty increases as each vision of you brought,
The tests to the limits of my imagination it wrought.
It makes me question if what I am seeing is real
I only know it is true by the way that I feel.
Your beauty is so vast it can't be concealed
There is no hiding it your so gorgeous it's revealed.
The power of your beauty is the world's greatest gift
My heaviest burden it could easily lift.
A girl this perfect I never knew
But all that changed the moment I met you.
Of Heaven on Earth I was not aware
Until I met a girl that was crafted with such care.
You would be the answer to my every prayer
If someone asked for something rare with beauty to spare.
If I had a choice I would choose this girl over air
For air can't compare to a girl not found elsewhere.

Tender Heart

A broken heart is no way to worldly travel
For life’s mysteries you cannot unravel
A hungry fire was never lit without a flame
Crystal waters flow clear, they hide no shame

The Moon’s glow shows it has nought to hide
Tempestuous seas do not question a rising tide
Raging storms never needed to ask to speak
Mountain tops do not care that they are bleak

Does the forest curse if the trees are bare?
A relentless wind would not sit and stare
An earthquake has no sense of human pity
A tsunami cares not if it engulfs a city

What volcano ever spilt lava and compassion?
Would a bitter winter’s cold savour our submission?
Tornadoes care less of empathy for their path
Nature never understands the meaning of wrath

Then why my heart do you continue to rage
Wisdom is the personal sanctuary of a sage
My continuing journey is not of your making
Only I can decide what I am forsaking

Whisper, whisper, to me my tender heart
Do not dwell on what you did not start
Beat vibrantly for that final journeys quest
For true love never sought to hide or rest

'Belong' soul match: For TP and G, Paloma etc...

Meet spark glow
Safe soft slow
Surely now know

Hesitate to reach
Heart deep beseech

Tender thoughts lit
Close tight fit

Connect sweet yearn
Land safe firm

Totally in place
No empty space

Apart wide long
Together burn strong
Belong

About this poem:
On why souls are on different continents, this is the answer given to me by spirit:
'Distance makes the heart grow stronger.
Distance builds deeper foundations, so it cannot be shaken by events of
of the modern world.'

Mirror - Mirror

Mirror - Mirror what do you see
Other than a reflection of me
Do you see all of my sorrows
Or the future of all my tomorrows

The sadness that lurks behind the eyes
The happenings that have made me wise
Lost loves that pains to remember
Or new loves lighting my eyes with ember

Wishful thinking of a permanent love
With hopes of help from above
Lines worn deep from age
Each one telling its tale of sage

Do you see the ravages of starkness
Caused by exposure to others darkness
Hoping for more light to shine through
And that special love meant for two

Cancer (Zodiac tribute Poem)

I stand at the edge of the cliff everyday
Looking out at the sea
And out of no where appears a door

Don’t know where I’m going so I take that leap
Cause I’m not gonna stand here wishing at the sea
To come and change me

Like the water, I’ll be carving my own way into this world
Slowly caving walls, Breaking new barriers,
And causing mayhem along the way.

Never contained,
just changed or moved another way
Till the day the sun dries me completely away
I don’t know what I’m waiting for

About this poem:
I'm not really sure what I was thinking of when I wrote this. It's still in the works...hahah it might even be crap. But I felt I had to express myself this way. I don't know it just felt right. I think that it shows strength, looking out towards a goal, then having the courage to do it...no matter what the consequence you'll be strong enough to deal with the situation. Strong enough to stand alone if need be.

She Walks in Grace and Beauty

She walks in grace and beauty
No harsh words pass her lips
Men they fall at her feet
For her favours they do beg
Her smile lights up every room
With her presence she does grace
Only truth shall she speak
Bless with words of wisdom
And throughout this life
She walks in grace and beauty

The Timber Wolf

The Alpha she wolf slipped away
she headed for the outcrop
where she had a den deep in the ground
she knew her time was near
her mate watched her go
knowing he would not be welcome
that she would birth alone
only once their eyes were open
would she let him near
for the meantime he would hunt
leave food by the entrance
while snug and warm within the den
the pups were born nine in all
at three weeks she led them out
letting them play and explore
now she welcomed her mate
proudly she showed off her pups
together they led them down the valley
to where the rest of the pack rested
each one in turn was introduced
now their care would be done by all
the young females would help to nurse
while the immature males would baby sit
for this is how a pack raises the pups
after the adults return from hunting
the pups will jump and bite at their throats
until they regurgitate the meat from the kill
eating until gorged then they sleep and grow
waiting for the day to come
when they will start the cycle over again

About this poem:
the pack is very complex and highly organized. Only the alpha male and female mate, they both can and do stare the others down to stop both fights and non alpha's from mating. There are usually around twelve in a pack. On average they hunt a range of 60 miles in diameter and can run up to 40 miles an hour and cover 50 miles a day.
Non breeding females produce milk and nurse the pups while young males compete to baby sit. They hunt birds and mammals such as deer and caribou and do a howling chorus before the hunt. A litter of pups consist of one to eleven, they are born blind and deaf.

Do Not Weep

Do not weep when I have gone
Whistle that tune or sing that song
Hum that melody that we used to play
Look to the clouds on a clear summer’s day

And think of me as you always have done
Remember that I shall forever be my mother’s son
As you pass the old oak that bears our mark
Whistle that tune we first heard from the lark

Gently let the grass hold you within its sway
As the breeze hums that melody we used to play
Where the crickets chime up in a glorious chorus
And you absorb the beauty of the flowering floras

Drift down to the stream where we sat and dreamt
And paddled like children thinking how this was meant
Remember how instantly we both broke out in song
And days were so lazy and nights were not as long

Think of me often as the tears glisten your face
Whistle that tune as you sit at our secret place
And as the tears overcome you in an emotional tide
Look up to the sky and see the swallow glide

And dry those tears you must not weep for me
Remember fondly those days in the old oak tree
And live your life as you know I want you too
Forever I will always be thinking of you
