I'M INVISIBLE

Embedded image from another site

I’M INVISIBLE

I’m invisible to others it seems
Drifting along as though in a dream
A dream where others can’t see me
But I can see them through the screen

Wandering about here and there
No one seeing me or seeming to care
Wondering if there is more to this in life
Like a puzzle piece not fitting quite right

Feeling at times like the Unicorn that missed the Ark
Never finding that missing puzzle part
Trying to fit in but not being heard
Eventually giving up and not saying a word

My voice is in a frequency no one can hear
Along with my body in a time warped mirror
So putting my Invisible Cloak on for another day
Going out in the world to try to find my way

Twas The Night Before Christmas (Jail Version)

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the jail
Lots of creatures were stirring
Even a vengeful inmate with a nail
The toilet paper was hung by the communal toilet without care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there
The prisoners were nustled unsafe in their beds
While visions of freedom danced in their heads
And I in my orange prison uniform and the guard in her cap
Wished we could settle down for a long winter's nap
When up from the roof there arose such a clatter
The prison guard sprang from her chair to see what was the matter
I knew that someone was up on that roof so lively and quick
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick
And then in the twinkling I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each tiny hoof
Then when I felt all would be well
In St. Nicholson came into our cell
He spoke a few words and went straight to his work
Then he exclaimed like a jerk
Deadbeat dads who make kids cry
Bad check writers who steal and lie
Drunk drivers who maim and make people fret
You all deserve the baloney sandwich you're going to get
But I come here to give you more than words
I also give you my Christmas turds
Then he laid a finger aside of his nose
And majically a chimney arose
Up he went and I heard him exclaim as he faded from sight
Merry Christmas to everyone else and I wish them all well
But as for you
You can all go to hell!

About this poem:
We have the largest prison population in the world. Most of the people in prison don't deserve to be there, but a few do. It seems that we reward bad behavior and punish good behavior in this country. I just think it would be nice to have the truly bad ones get a good scolding from Ol St. Nick.

MY MASTERPIECE (Last poem)

Damm I suck,
Not good enough,
Not for anyone,
And its frustrating!

Tried my hands on,
Fixing broken stuffs,
They became worst,
Than it actually was.

And then I tried,
Entering poetry contests,
Only to be denied,
Of reaching top spot!

Forget about a life,
Who gives a damm?
f*cking loser I am,
Loneliness my fate.

What am I good at?
Every corner a dead end,
Give me a god damm sign,
That I am not useless!

Am I screwed for life?
Everything I do goes wrong,
Why do you save me so many times?
Why do I breathe still?

Even the army thinks I am a waste,
Spending good money on me to train,
Im off the hook with nothing to lose ,
Feeling my contribution is of no use.

I can't sing or dance,
Nor sell a pair of socks,
Even the priests avoid me,
Too much trouble I think.

I am left in the dark,
Not knowing what to do,
When you're not sure of yourselves,
What's the point in hanging around.

Another one bites the dust,
I've got the worst of luck,
Living on this world so aimlessly,
Oh why am I still here Lord?

Sleepless at night,
I cry deep inside,
It hurts so bad,
And it still does.

Void is not even close,
To describe someone lame,
I am ten times more,
Than the words above.

Am I good with kids?
I will never know,
Coz I am living alone,
Without someone to love.

Now I am very upset,
Have no skills or talent,
Poetry is all that I had,
But now I close the hatch.

By the way if you're reading this,
I am pouring all my heart out here,
Coz I am giving up on myself,
And will end this poem as my very last.

About this poem:
lately very disappointed with some events taking place elsewhere,
its affected my morale badly,
Alas this is my Masterpiece!
my very last composed one.

if something goes right in your life
you can take comfort and strength from there,
when nothing seem to go brightly or boost your confidence, it takes a Hell of a beating and the last straw would be jumping off a bridge. . .
not me, not even good enough to do it
when depression hits, i fight it back by listening to music.
its not working this time. . .
the good news is more time to comment.

Dear Heart,

.
Dear Heart,
I'd like to say sorry to you.
There’re many times I’ve made you blue.
Even if I didn’t mean to.
But I knew I tore you apart.
.
.
Dear Heart,
I’m sorry that I ignored you.
I trusted him when he said, “I love you”.
I should have doubted if his love was true.
I was wrong from the start.
.
.
Dear Heart,
I once gave you to such a fool.
I wish I could make a redo.
I would take you out of the blue.
Before he’s torn you apart.
.
.
Dear Heart,
I know it's been tough to you.
You've hurt as hell a thousand times I knew.
I’ve loved someone I thought was cool.
I let he come hurt you, leaving you ‘a broken heart’.
.
.
Dear Heart,
Would you give me one more chance?
Never again will I take anyone by glance.
Never again will I dream of romance.
This time I’ll take his hands, and look into his heart.
.
.
Dear Heart,
If this guy is the one for me.
If he’s really my destiny.
May I ask you honestly?
Will you let him be, inside of you, Heart?
.
.
Dear Heart,
Hold on don't break on me.
Please listen carefully.
This time I guarantee.
No one will ever hurt you, Heart.
.
.
I love you DEAR HEART!!

A GOOD BLACK WOMAN

A good Black Woman is proud of herself.
She respects herself and others.
She is aware of who she is.
She neither seeks definition from the person she is with, or does she expect them to read her mind.
She is quite capable of articulating her needs.
A good black woman is hopeful.
She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true.
She knows love, therefore she gives love.
She recognises that her love has great value and must be reciprocated.
If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears.
A good black woman has a dash of inspiration, a dabble of endurance.
She knows that she will, at times, have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them.
A good black woman knows her past, understands her present and moves toward the future.
A good black woman knows God.
She knows that with God the world is her playground, but without God she will just be played.
A good black woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past.
Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons,
meant to bring her closer to self knowledge and unconditional self love.

Even If The World Would End Tomorrow

Even if the world would end tomorrow
I’d never leave you come what may
Wherever you are that where I will go
North South East or West I will find the way
++-----++-----++
I’d want to spend the rest of my time
To cherish the gentle warmth of your arms
I’d let our love becomes as one rhyme
I’d let you captivate me by your charms
++-----++-----++
I'd place my soft kiss and hold you near
I’d stare into your eyes ‘till its shine
When my heart skips a beat you'll hear
"I love you, I am yours and you are mine."
++-----++-----++
I don't care if the world ends tomorrow
With you, Heaven or Hell I'd love to go
++-----++-----++

The Twelve Bottles of Te Bheag Whiskey

I had 12 bottles of Te Bheag in my cellar and my wife told me to pour each and every one down the sink, or else!....

I said I would, and proceeded with the task. I withdrew the cork from the first bottle and poured the contents down the sink, with the exception of one glass, which I drank. I extracted the cork from the second bottle and did likewise with the exception of one glass, which I drank. I pulled the cork from the third bottle and poured the Te Bheag down the sink which I drank. I pulled the cork from the fourth bottle down the sink, and poured the Te Bheag down the glass which I drank. Then I pulled the bottle from the cork and drank one sink out of it, and threw the rest down the glass. I corked the sink out of the next glass and poured the cork down the bottle. I corked the sink with the glass, bottled the drink and drank the pour. Then I had everything emptied. I steadied the house with one hand and counted the glasses, corks and bottles with the other, which were 29, and as the house came by I counted them again and finally had all the houses in one bottle, which I drank.

I am not under the affluence of incohol as some tinkle peep I am. I am not half so thunk as you might drink I fool so feelish. I don't know who is me, and the drunker I stand here the longer I get.

Love Is Like Fire

Love Is Like Fire

Fire is like love and love is like fire

It burns within us taking us higher

Burning brightly, blazing away

Alive and growing every day

This is where Heaven is on Earth

Found in your arms is love's worth

A raging inferno that burns our soul

Melting us into one, making us whole

Flying on these magical flaming wings

To where a choir of angels sings

Far far away to our own secret place

Where we share our fire's blazing grace

As long as we two are together

This fire inside us will burn forever

A flower/woman

Embedded image from another site

A flower has a special beauty each one unique,
A flower has delicate petals that appear soft and fragile,
A flower is made to withstand strong winds and rain, and to bend with the elements of nature, made to go with the flow and not to break unless cut or ripped out.

A flower lives to give beauty, pleasure and add a gentleness,
A flower lives to give nature a way to grow and flourish, it makes the world a sweeter place.

And when she dies, a flower is replaced with another she helped make with the seeds she held, and so she lives on.

About this poem:
was just thinking how alike we are to a flower, but only in some ways:-)

Holds Michaels hand and watches the wind blow the petals over the field,
rests on his shoulder and feels safe.

NOT THE PERFECT WOMAN

Here we are again on the date site
Maybe we will find our mate tonight
Excitement and anticipation building
We flip through profiles and find it discouraging

You want the woman who is the perfect weight
She has to be perfect to be your mate
Love to travel, camp, snuggle and sexy kisser
And oh she has to be a great fisher

It’s enough to make a girl feel discouraged and a failure
To go on looking everyday takes more and more courage
All she wants is for someone to love her as she is
Not a super model with lipstick that can’t be kissed

So be careful guys for what you ask for
Less maybe best instead of more and more
Yes the chemistry must be there
But we are not all blondes and perfect – so be fair

Do you want someone whose hair cannot be messed
Or someone who loves you and thinks you’re the best
Someone who ends up a nightmare instead of a dream
Or a best friend who could help and play on your team

Another night and again we girls look with hope in our heart
That the one guy right for us will see how wonderful we are
That he will look for the true person behind the face
Not just all sugar, spice and lace

About this poem:
2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section.

Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot.

Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.
