Eternal Breath.

Thy eternal breath

Sweet Rose of youth
Cut off in thy fullest bloom
Thy blood tears flowing with mine own
Alas two hearts cry a river in anguish
Art this now the end?
No my precious Love
This be but a new spring for us
Before the ending an earthly Rose doth wilt
Yet thy spirit doth grow in its magnitude
Thy Love be eternal in its divinity
Come unto me and breathe into me
Thy most precious eternal breath
Thy Rose then eternal shall be
Forever shalt thou bloom in Heavens majesty
God's brightest star and most beautiful Angel
Still thou shalt always be with thy Love
Your earthly life now dwells within my heart and Soul
Thou shalt come and claim thy eternal breath
Night or day it awaits thy glory my eternal Rose
That thou shalt walk again with thy Love
Never to part the true Lovers
Hold my hand forever in Love's midnight dream
When thou dost wish to be with me in this reality
Take back thy eternal breath
Remember to return it before thou doth leave me
Thou art my sun that rises in the morning
Thou art the moon that lights up my night
Forever beats the heart of Love eternal
Eternal be the Love that comes from thee
Let never this beloved of hearts
Be but a desolate wasteland
This heart forever shines with glory
A garden of beauty supreme
For thy Rose doth shine in wonder at its heart
There was but one moment for the agony of parting
Now eternal joy does fill my core
Thou art with me in thy divine glory
Thou didst give me thine own eternal breath
My Soul thy Soul one Soul
My heart thy heart one heart
The river of Love ever dost run
The timeless sea awaits and Love eternal
Never are we parted my most precious Love
All this for I hold thy eternal breath

About this poem:
This poem was written 38 years ago after my Love had died In the States. I would have taken her eternal breath Into me and she would have dwelt within me always. This was not to be. Maybe It Is the curse of one such as myself to walk his many lifetimes alone. Not likely, this Is me we're talking about. As you see, always have to lighten the mood when thinking of this lady. My thinking here, If I go back to an older corner, where I belong, why not make my first write an old write that means much to me. The poem tells the way It should have been.

Infidelity

I shall take a pinch
Of betrayal
A portion of despair
And a slice of heartbreak
Blend it with a large
Dose of grief
And mix it all
In your coffee
So you may experience
Exactly
How I feel

They say Time is a great healer

They say time is a great healer
But nothing can heal the pain
In your heart
When it's ripping apart

As each new morning
Awakens from the darkness of night
into another
pain filled day without her

You miss her
Sweet smile
And beautiful face

You miss her special soul
The void she left
No one
can ever
fill

How can you go on
You may wonder

But you will survive
You will get through it

You will remember her
With love
Each day
once a battle
And the memories will become
fonder
And bittersweet

in time
the pain will slowly
Ease

As life
Silently goes
on

Your memories will always remain

they say time is a great healer

Native American Love Poem

I walk to you
softly upon this earth
among things great and small
remembering one great Spirit
created us all...

You walk in beauty
my eyes always seeking
the red and purple sunset
beholding in your eyes
pastel and calico I can't forget...

I dance for you at dawn
upon our bed of evening light
riding on a dark cloud
praying for your female rain
in a house of pollen I chant out loud...

Hey yaw, hey yaw

In my house of evening twilight
in our dreams made of dark clouds
you in your moccasins of dark clouds
dance your way to me
as you chant for me out loud...

Hey yaw, hey yaw

Marmalade The Cat.....Children's poem

Poor Marmalade was so unhappy
since her family moved house
she lay in her bed looking all floppy
with no interest in chasing a mouse.

She missed all the cats from town
since moving to the country
all she could do was sulk and frown
the life had gone out of her she felt so empty.

Then one day a new kitten did arrive
a kitten called blue
Marmalade began to feel alive
all at once she knew what to do.

She'd show Blue how to catch mice
how to steal food when no one was looking
how to groom her coat making it look nice
on cold winters nights they'd lay snuggling.

Marmalade settled down her head resting on a shoe
stretching out and yawning
with her little paw around Blue
she fell into a contented sleep till morning.

mysterious girl

There was this new girl joining my class,
whose skin was as pristine as a glass.
When she enered for the first time,
every boy's heart was in musical rhyme.
She was quiet,she was attentive,
but that was the very reason for her to be so destructive.
Every boy wanted to sit next to her,
talk to her & befriend the beauty.
She absorbed all attention but didn't flicker,
like water thrown on a mirror.
I was the lucky one she spoke first,
exciting me but increasing others thirst.
We were friends and i got close to her,
like the honey bee reaching for the sweet nectar.
I was basking in the sunshine glory of her friendship,
her beautiful smile infusing warmth drip by drip.
Then one day, i was sure of self,
wanting to ask her to be the essence of my life.
when i asked her she was quiet,
every second waiting was there to bite.
She turned with water in her eyes,
without comforting me with any lies.
She never spoke to me again,
I was heart broken with all the pain.

I like the dry earth waiting for the rain.
I could never know her mystery,
that too was part of my history.
She was quiet, she was attentive,
but that the very reason for her to be so destructive.

humanity, we're losing it

humanity where are we?
in full gear, fully armed
we are on the war path
and directly heading to be damned
Paris, a city of beauty and light
accosted by the atrocities
of what is wrong and unjust

have we gone berserk
have we lost our minds?
have we embraced the dark
and forget there is light?
oh what an excuse, imperialist
here and there:
making the rich live in decadence
while the poor and wretched live lower than dirt?

you have forgotten
this day has been prophesied
it has been written and destined
alas, the eighty percent in jubilation
thinking it is their redemption
perhaps, it is..

but oh no, this is the mark
the progression of the "haves"
at the expense of the have "nots"
sure, laugh at me, I face your contempt
it is my fault for not standing up
as you remain silent to my pleas

the time has come
let us face and dance
your God and my God,
is one and the same

but my right to live,
my freedom,
doesn't make any difference
we're both born naked
and back to dust no more no less
one and the same..rotten
buried in the same dirt.

Silence

Embedded image from another site

I whisper into the silence to see if anyone is there
While the moon casts a calm reflection I wonder what I will hear
The voices of timid strangers roaming through the night
Invited by the darkness convincing them that its alright
And not to fear the sleeping giants nor their deep aphotic dreams
Embrace your somber phantoms they will help you find the light you seek
Then I stared far beyond the horizon into the great abyss of emptiness
At that moment all of my hell stood still and I know why I exist
Although my body is bound by gravity my soul is a billion light years away
Im still no closer to forever, but heaven is on my way

Spartacus (acrostic)

Such a warrior of verse
Penning words of romance
All so sweet and beautiful
Raising up our hearts
Taking us with you
As you weave your stories
Carrying us up high
Unleashing strong emotions
Sir, True poet are you
