RE: Older women, younger men

How old are you? grin

RE: Older women, younger men

rolling on the floor laughing

Be careful, you might be putting off the nice ladies too!

C´mon be honest folks

Well I hear and understand you livinlarge. However, have you not noticed that many people here seem to be financially strapped, or have baggage ( I hate that word but it´s true) which makes it impossible to travel.

Also, I do believe that most Americans, from what I read here, would find it impossible, or incomprehensible to live in a European country.

RE: Older women, younger men

Double sigh Lush..sigh sigh

C´mon be honest folks

It´s not far from you Irish girl, but from America, it is much much further, and culturally even further.

RE: Older women, younger men

What a load of crap. Where did you read that? Some man´s mag?

Why can´t the ideal age be in reverse? i.e. if the woman is 40 half her age is 20 plus seven equals 27, ideal for a 40 year old woman, no?

C´mon be honest folks

Hiya you!

You never know..true...but highly unlikely I fear.

RE: Finding MR. Right

Well I still do not have any idea who you or Ambrose are
referring too. I am definitely out of the CS loop! laugh

Actually. perhaps that´s a good thing!

C´mon be honest folks

Most people say they would travel, relocate to be with their potential love.

I think this is a lie, with most. Ok, I live in Spain, most of you here on the IF are American, so however many lovely emails or flowers I receive it´s like....what is the point? We are never going to meet why bother?

I´m not going to relocate, I have done so already from the UK to Spain, here is where I am happy, and here is where I stay.

Does that mean that I´m wasting my time here?

RE: Older women, younger men

As a temporary relationship fine. For me personally. I would not date a man the same age or thereabouts as my son.

I married very young, so there is only 20 years between me and my son and daughter, but it is a huge difference when choosing a partner.

Give me an older man any day! Not too much older though, my ex husband was only 9 years older, and at times that equated to a million years!

RE: Finding MR. Right

Ok, but cryptic I don´t really go for.

Anyhow, how do you know which couple is or is not genuine? Am I out of the CS loop here as per usual?

RE: Finding MR. Right

That´s not nice Ambrose and I´m surprised and disappointed with your post.

RE: Parenting and Autism

You know, I believe I fed my kids with the best, no additives, tinned food, fizzy or concentrated juice drinks, no McDonalds, (except a treat on Xmas eve) and skimmed milk when they started school. It was a mission for me, and today they are both in their late twenties and have never had a day of serious illness in their lives, nor crave junk food.

They tease their old mum for giving them packed school lunches eons ago which nobody could recognise, yet wanted to try.

I also let them eat muck from the garden and put things into their mouths which many mums are afraid to do. They have never needed antibiotics.

RE: Finding MR. Right

Wooowhoo!!! Good luck Lush!

RE: Finding MR. Right

Me too!

I´ve met online people and offline people during the 3 years I´ve been an on and off member here. The offline people have always been more my type......speaks volumes really. no?

RE: how many women is the ideal amount for a man

This makes no sense, 500 ok, but at what age?

Camels and goats are not always readily available.

I went on holiday with my daughter to Egypt a few years ago and a very persistant Egyptian man was trying to persuade my daughter that her mummy could be very happy with him....at a very reasonable price of one hundred camels!

My poor daughter was in tears!!

I need a date....

I know that and it´s a good feeling. I will be very happy with my friends and students on my birthday, but when I´m home I will think of my friends here and log in to tell you all about my night!

Unless of course I get lucky! Then you´ll all have to wait a while. laugh

RE: Parenting and Autism

I was just going to direct the OP to you Imma.

OP, here´s your lady!

I need a date....

Oh yes you´re on holiday lucky lady! Que te duermes con los angelitos! Have a good day tomorrow.

RE: What song are you right now? PART 2.

It´s my life.

I need a date....

Imma, they are! All my students are lovely, motivated adults, and the great thing is that I learn so much from them too.

I love them! They are my life, and we have much more than a teacher student relationship because they are adults. But Imma, your work is much more difficult than mine.

Hats off to you dear lady. tip hat

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISH123!!!

Feliz cumpleaños Trish

Besos y abrazos.

hug

I need a date....

Oh and one more thing, I couldn´t ignore the good doctor´s suggestions for my date.

Call me picky if you will, and they do sound like extremely interesting characters, but I didn´t really think I had anything remotely in common with your good, single friends. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: the cs oscars

You know Sommer, this is the kind of thing you just don´t see on the IF. I love EU!!!

Brilliant Smoky.

I need a date....

What???

EVERYBODY is invited, but realistically, only the CS men in Spain will be able to attend. However, if you can´t make it in person, then a CS party will be just lovely.

You organise it Sommer please. hug

RE: Slumdog Millionaire

I´m preparing an English class tomorrow with one of my groups and it is based on Bollywood. I´m going to introduce the Slumdog Millionaire theme too...I´m quite excited about it.

Sorry, sad work related info not at all intersting for anybody else! laugh

Who has seen The Reader btw, any comments?

I need a date....

Sommer, I´ve decided to be happy with my friends. Any CS men living in Spain are however invited. wink

RE: The Smoking and Honesty Thread...

Tangoed!!!rolling on the floor laughing

No, I´m not stupid, I know what I should or shouldn´t eat. The problem is that many people substitute food for ciggies when they give up....it´s normal. My doctor has said that people generally put on weightwhen they stop smoking, even without excess scoffing, the metabolism slows down. Nicotine speeds up the metabolism. The key is not only to watch the calories, but more exercise.

The carrots are healthier than stuffing sweet or calorie laden food.
