Aware

Aware
Like a shadow
Following me everywhere
Knowing you are there
Always been aware
That you are there
No beginning
No end
Then, now, always here, there, everywhere
You followed me
Still follow me
You shadow, you
Can’t get rid of you
Can’t leave you behind
Can’t let you go
No matter how hard I try
You ghost me everywhere
So help me then
Get rid of you
What if I haunt you in exchange
What if I materialise and follow you
I need to make you real
I need to break the chain
Haunt you
Destroy you
Alienate you
Because I’m always aware
You were there
When we leave
You’ll be free
To follow me
Fly with me
Soar
Eternally

Dreams Revisited...

Oh wonderful Morpheus,
weaver of childhood dreams,
bring me to a wonderful place
of chariots and runaway horses
entranced in a cloudy mist...

I'll drift away to ancient woods
only to dream and dream,
leaving behind cold and harsh world,
as I chase my fairy tale princess
saving her from the dragon...

I wish away my bed but a cloud
drifting off towards falling star
and the bursting supernova,
all the way to Andromeda,
resting upon the Elysian Fields...

When I awake from golden slumber
to the cruel world of falling sky,
I'll pray for blissful nature
that we all are a dream within a dream
with runaway horses and fairy tale princess...

Guinevere and Lancelot ~ Two Love Sonnets

My Love, Lancelot

My Knight thou art my love, my life, my sin
Thy love's a guiding light, the brightest star
Ethereal thy touch, like Angel's wing
Thy fiery glance, embracement from afar
This heart is thine forever and a day
Thou holds upon thy hand my fragile soul
My being trembles with delight each day
For thee, my kindred spirit, passion sole
Oh Lancelot, thou sets my heart afire
But what, I ask, mine heart bereft of thee ?
A cold and lonely dungeon; chained my fire !
As Neptune who cannot return to sea
I yearn to drink thy cup of Love divine
And pray the day to come thou steals what's thine

~ Guinevere

My Lady Dear

My Lady Guinevere, my love thou art
Thy love, in darkest night, a beacon bright
Thou sets my soul afire, all notion parts
Thy glance beyond ethereal delight
Thy touch alights my darkest gloomy night
Alike to Dragon's breath my passions burn
No quest, no grail can keep away thy Knight
For thee, my Love, from Death I shall return
My solemn vow for now and evermore
My heart, my soul, my life belongs to thee
Beyond the end of time and Heaven's door
My love thou art for all eternity
I yearn to drink thy cup of Love divine
And pray the day to come thou claims what's thine

~ Lancelot

Mistakes (with extreme poetic licence)

I look back and see mistakes
One piled on top of another
How do I pick the worst
So many seek my attention

The car I bought, shiny bright
Was the worst of all the lemons
Hardly a day did go past
When things just weren’t happening

With women I had no luck
I married all the wrong ones
Behind my back they played around
Then they took me for my money

The quaint little house that I bought
I thought my home to retire
Came home late one night
My ex had taken possession

The jobs I had I tried so hard
To do more than I had to
When things got slow, sacking time
To the front of the line they’d push me

Even when I was a young child
The middle of six children
No-one wanted to spend time with me
Even my parents ignored me

So how do I pick my worst mistake
With so many screaming at me
It seems the mistake that’s worst of all
I was born and no-one knew it

Message in a bottle

To you (because you found it):
I am lost on a desert island.
Long captivated has its beauty held me,
But it does not make up for being lonely.
I'm begging you, please rescue me;
Else I may lose my sanity.
Creeping insanity, I fear it may come
Before my rescue... Wait, I hear a steel drum!

Could it be that my salvation's at hand
By the lonely wand'ring of a cruise liner's band?
Could it be that I WILL see my friends again?
I would be joyous to leave this land
Behind me. Oh, sweet joy, a ship in sight!
It is on the horizon, and by the sun's light
It may find me yet! Oh, it is the broad light of day!
Bright light, high sun, and, how do you say,
Ah, yes, freedom! But wait. How will they
Be able to find me? The chances are nay...

Yet their ship, yes, their ship, is approaching at speed!
Oh, sweet salvation, how long have I seeked!
And if this day should see them to me,
My self would return to reality.

I can see the passengers now;
Some men, some women. They're standing at the bow
Of the ship. They're searching for something.
Could I possibly be that something?
Yes! I am waving, and they are waving back!
It's true! It is true. I must get ready to pack
All of the things that are here with me;
My only connection to humanity.

But while I'd love to leave this desert isle,
It's been my home for quite a while.
About a week, if I remember right.
(On the sand I would lay, and I spent the nights
Staring up at the sky, filled with diamond-like stars--
But what am I thinking? I'm going home, away from here, far.)

They're coming closer now; I guess I should ready
My belongings... Onmagosh, is that my baby???
Yes, it is he!! What sweet, sweet irony
That my rescuer should be my one and only!
The only man I will ever love;
He has searched for and found his wand'ring dove!
And now, now I see, he is calling my name!
He cries out "I love you" and I cry out the same.
And as the ship anchors in the shallow sea,
I run to him; he runs to me
After securing the anchor. I exult in
His warm embrace. I'll never leave him again!
He picks up my bags while holding my hand...

And sadly I realize this message must end.
So, happily now I'll seal this message
In a bottle, and send it on its passage.
A miraculous rescue this, I think you'll agree.
May this message give you hope on the open sea.
And so, as we are going home, I shall drop
This message in a bottle into the ocean, with hope
That my joyous words will comfort you
When you're on the open sea, lonely and blue.

Angels And Dinosaurs

Swoop down come you all on your golden wings
Beckonning my pleas for your safety brings
Shining green eyes and a lizard tongue sings
With a shrilling voice from the King of Kings

No greater raptor on earth can compare
For only your fossils in earth lie bare
Waiting once again for the truth do dare
For all who knows your mystery beware

Perchance angelic image was all wrong
Art and form never human all along
In our hearts we do fear where you belong
When so much your legend became our song

Once upon a time before we humans
You were Glory, Alleluia, Amen

About this poem:
A fantasy sonnet about dinosaurs being 'true angels' once living on our planet and down through the ages we mortals have arose but are still waiting their return. It's kind of a strange poem even for my standards not to take anything away from Botticelli who so inspires me with his "Birth of Venus", but maybe he got it all wrong?? :))

Dark Matter aka Outer Space

There is this free ranging substance filling the whole universe, It was called void but now they named it Dark Matter, It is an infinite ocean that floats countless galaxies, You could called it as blackest shroud, Or sometimes be known as darkest cloud, It classification and composition is still unknown!! And scientists are still puzzle by it's origin, You could call it an element that is neither living nor dead, Do not brush lightly of this amazing thing, It has godlike power to hold galaxies and invisible black holes!!! And only recently are these scientists trying to replicate it in laboratories, While Astronomers around the world looked through their telescopes in their observatories, With a slight acknowledgement of one of God's greatest mysteries !!! Space as we know it but will be refer to as DARK MATTER

Fairy Song

Far out in the middle of the woods
Where the fairies dance and play
Where sunbeams break through the leaves
And no one goes that way
There is a glen that opens there
And captures hearts so true
If you should chance to pass this way
Listen closely, they might speak to you
Way out in the middle of the woods
I've heard the bells that ring
And watched the dance of the fairies
Upon their gossamer wings
Just as the sun is setting
And the rays of light are low
And the moon starts casting it's shadow
It is here that the fairies go
And if you lay down softly
Among the moss covered logs
And watch among the moonbeams
And the slowly falling fog
Maybe you'll see them dancing
(Good luck is what it brings)
So stay there very quietly
And listen as the fairies sing.
