Legend Of The Black Dove (Part 10 B)

"The Unknown World" (Continued)

Flying above the ship are two large birds, but on a closer inspection they observe flying reptiles, Pterodactyls: it seems they have been transported to the prehistoric times. They decide to carry on moving towards the island. Owens, who is leading the men, realises they have to go in, get through and out as quick as possible through the rainforest with its strange vegetation and small animals. Moments later they notice a Stegosaurus eating foliage. Avoiding confrontation they walk around the trees only to encounter an Alosaurus- a flesh eater which notices them. Growling it starts to chase after the crew. They shoot their pistols at it. While running
Jenkins falls to the ground, Norrington turns and decoys the beast away from his friend, the other crew members help Jenkins escape the beast's clutches. Without being noticed Norrington is transformed into the Black Dove and is trying to lure the beast in his direction. The other men are now on board the ship, while the
Dove is playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the Alosaurus. The Dove uses his super strength and speed to jump onto the monster's back and render it unconscious. The dinosaur slumps to the ground. Becoming John Norrington again he rejoins his friends. Captain Owens is successful in getting fresh water and some plants for their voyage home. The storm is approaching the Columbia giving them another chance to return home to England. Everyone is on board, knowing not where they will be going to next.
Will the Columbia's crew finally arrive in England?
Or will they end up in another time zone again?
The startling answer is in Part 11...."Destination Unknown"

Legend Of The Black Dove (Part 10a)

"The Unknown World "

After leaving Monterey by ship, the Columbia encounters a
strange storm accompanied by a heavy mist that creates a voyage through time to another place. The Captain discovers they are in Dover harbour but everything seems different, Norrington, Jenkins, Captain Owens, and first officer Hill investigate the huge ship named 'Albatross', which is moored in the port. The huge ship's bridge is full of weird levers and
instrumentation, Owens notices a placard on the ship's wheel stating ''The Albatross built at Newcastle in 1929", also a calendar dated 1930, and it all starts to make sense, including the weird mist that transported them through time from 1750 to the year 1930. Captain Owens realises that the freak storm may possibly return and if they were lucky enough it may take them back to their normal timeline. He suggests they should all return to the Columbia. They are about to leave when the watch crew comes back. They are heavily armed with rifles and a machine gun. The Captain of the Albatross tells them: "Halt! Hands up!" and their men search them for concealed weapons. They are later taken on deck. While the two captain's hold a discussion Owens tells Captain Ryder that they are here by accident not design as a strange wind brought them from 1750 to 1930. He could not understand why this happened but they seem now stranded here. The only chance of returning is to try to reconnect with the wind taking us back to our own time, and things will once again be normal. While they are talking they see in the distance that the storm is returning, and Ryder agrees to help them but they need to be quick, as the storm is approaching the Columbia very fast. Ryder tells his crew to release the men and start the ship's engines. Within a few minutes the Albatross reaches the Columbia. The storm is now upon them. As Captain Owens man's the ship's wheel, they set sail towards the storm whereas the Albatross flees the scene. Seconds later the Columbia is engulfed in fog. It is happening again, the speed becomes faster and faster, the ship begins to shake and buffet, and then starts to slow down again. Norrington and Jenkins look around to see if they are near some volcanic island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Captain Owens arranges a landing party to try to get some supplies, food and water and anything else they can find. They also take their guns for protection.

MoonDance II

Can't stand the sun,
Just have to run,
Catch the racing wind,
with Kate beside me.

Never had so much fun,
Chasing terrified nuns,
Stealing eggs from a farm,
Hiding from bullies's harm.

Embedded image from another site

We climb ancient trees,
Met Mary and two became three,

Embedded image from another site

Teaching bullies who are mean,
They are the best friends ever.

Mary have a drunkard father,
She is his only family and child,

Whom he never seem to miss,
If she comes home or stayed up late.

Kate has a big brother,
Around him she hides,

Her parents died in a fire,
She is carefree and a wild spirit.

The Space Traveller (for dark horse)

One day Liam was out strolling
when down came a space ship
frightened he saw the door open
and out quite casually strolled

His old feathered friend the duck
"sit down and listen" my irish friend
"I have been to space visited the moon
and spoke to the man who dwells there."

"On we went to Jupiter, Mars and Pluto
passed through the Milky Way and Plough
Then I thought Liam should be here too
jump aboard and we will fly the universe."

With fear in his heart Liam joined duck
strapped in he stared in awe and wonder
as in seconds they were circling Saturn
"Look ahead", said duck, "There is frog"

A very merry reunion was had by them all
Liam scratched his head "I can not trust
the two of you out of my sight. "Fairy
tale animals you are supposed to be."

Not space travellers. Frog said quite
logically. "I can not find a princess
on earth to kiss so I can be a prince
up here who knows the sky's the limit."

Duck joined in "I can fly around earth,
up here I am completely free and weightless
and up here I have the power of speech"
Liam thought and said, "I agree lets stay"

Liam has been writing about duck for
some time joined by frog in fishnet tights
I kid you not. Time they went universal.

In London Town

Jack the Ripper comes out to play
A blood stain knife, with throats he slices.

Bodies in gutters, eaten by mice, wandering soul, with no place to go. Screams are smothered, under a murderous smite.

As werewolves howls, on full moon nights; 'Mr Jackal, where's Dr Hyde?'
The beasts are lose in London Town.

Big Ben strikes twelve; extra, extra, London bridge has fallen down

Read all about it; The beasts are loose, please lock your doors, close all your windows and brace yourself, it's a long night ahead.

time

The hands of the clock stood still
Time was frozen
For a while
No movement of the fingers

No counting of time
in time and space
Nothing
Moved frozen to the spot

Time stood still movement no more
People frozen no sound no
Traffic noise
No talking no people walking to shops
Talking to others
All frozen to the spot
Nothing
Time frozen

Till time decides to move once more

Morgan secret recipe Part III

The Morgans were having seven guests that night,
They had dinner and were drinking peppered ale,
The eldest son stood behind his father,
The rest of the family retired to bed ,
The stranger introduced
his crew of men to them,
First was Billy the Damm,
He was a Chicago family man who lost his family by a group of rich boys looking for fun,
He took revenged and surrendered to the cops,
But the warden freed him and the other five men in the blocks,
The word was out to take out their lives without a trial,
Big and powerful people who wanted them dead without a fuss,
Second was Le Kent from Chinatown,
He got mixed up in some triad gang fight with the neighbourhood blacks,
His home got burnt down and no one helped,
An example for saving a black girl from being raped,
He met his tormentors and burnt them all that night,
The third is Oak a big black mute who got almost beaten to death by rival gang for kissing one of theirs,
She died in his arms trying to save him from a gun shot,
He came back a year later and broke the backs of every enemy he knows,
And buried them alive in a huge pit twelve in all,
It was past three when they all went to bed,
But in the snoring of men
Two of them were awake and watching over the family,
The Stranger at the window looking outside and the fourth man with deadly glaze at his back.

Morgan secret recipe Part II

The stranger left town but return a fortnight with six more men armed with guns and blades,
They came face to face with the townfolks bearing choppers and chains,
And in their midst was Morgan and his sons,
Each carrying pistols and two barrel shotguns,
The tension was filling the air and the breathing was hard,
Around the corner stood, wives and children all armed,
With anything they can get their hands on,
Both sides came closer with every stride,
And while the surrounding was getting hot and tensed,
A boy ran out to meet the stranger with his toy gun pointing at him,
And Bang! A single shot was fired,
And on the floor laid the stranger without blood,
For a moment shocked registered across the faces on both sides,
And then laughters filled the air,
The boy stood confused at the crowd as he thought he killed the man with a single bullet,
And to his surprise the stranger sit up and smile back,
The stranger stood up and looked at Morgan,
At once the crowd grew silent and nervously waited,
The strangers spoke with coldness in his voice,
I have done things so hideous and never regret,
But now I carry my worst demons on my back,
I cannot bring your boys back,
But I and my trusted gang will die before your family is in danger again,
We have come to protect you and your family as bodyguards,
Your enemies are many and you could get all the help you can get,
And I am not asking for your permission nor any of my men,
There's a war coming to this town for the price on your head.

The Magic Wand

Magicians around the world rely on their
magic wand, it is their main tool in their
trade, it creates the illusion of making
magic believable, it has the ability to
trick your senses into believing the
magician, when he has your full attention
he works his magic and makes everyone
shocked in amazement, magic wands
are not always used by magicians as in
the storybook story of 'Cinderella' it was
used by the Fairy Godmother to change
'Cinderella' into a princess while turning
a pumpkin into a beautiful coach with
white horses to take Cinderella to the ball.
The magic wand is nothing more than a
painted stick of wood, but when painted it is
transformed into a wonderful magic wand.
