Harvest done,
And frost is here
The snow is falling,
Falling heavy,
White comfort
Windy, cold,
Wood in a barrow,
Fire burning,
Winter carol,
Blizzard blowing,
Blowing hard
Winter wailing,
Music in the eves,
Yuletide carols,
Mistletoe and wreathes,
Proserpine is in decline,
Hades is her home,
Leaving snow and
Sol Invictus,
Seasons stirring
In a wintry bowl,
Yuletide carols
Whispers of antiquity
Birthing spring,
The dove on wing
Songs of hope in
An icy clime,
Seasons turning,
Turning on a dime,
Time is fleeting,
Fleeing, seeking,
Eternity of mind.

How many more times must u feel the knife slice through your heart
Before you realize to men betrayal is the master of their art
How many more tears must you feel slide down your cheek
Before you realize love drains you and makes you weak

Can’t believe after all you’ve been through
You’re still so naive to believe he was being true
So willing to sacrifice everything to make the relationship work
So blind u didn’t see he was doing dirt

Guess as much as you try again and again
Love will never be equivalent to anything but pain
Some say it’s better to love and lose than to never love at all
But I’ve had enough so never again shall I fall..

The year began with such dreams and ambitions
Such jubilation with hopes of better days to come
But halfway through the year its all just an echo
And a fire once bright burnt to ashes so long ago

Another summer which appears so full, yet is so empty
For all the parties cant kill the lonely
Center of attention, spotlight girl
So many envy to have her world

If they only knew she'd trade it all to be the simple girl next door
Who has the one special boy to adore
No drama, no lies, no games, no insecurity
Just honesty, trust, stability

Raindrops hit her window on this cold summer night
She thinks how ironic isn't summer supposed to be hot and bright
But there's no stars twinkling in the sky
Just clouds reflecting her emotional state as she sigh

But this is just a moment of weakness
For tomorrow the sun will shine, she'd paste a smile and perform at her best
For deep down she knows there's something in store
Better days will come and stars will outshine those shadows

The year will end and she'll wish upon a star again
All she needs is faith, maybe next year will be less to lose but all to gain
Someday she'd be the simple girl next door with a fire shining bright
And she'd have a boy to adore, no games, no lies, just a love that will keep that fire light

sometimes I get the feeling,
I'm swimming against the tide,
the harder I try,
the harder the forces against me

sometimes I get to thinking,
maybe the chances' have all gone,
you no where you can find me,
If you don't want to be alone

getting close to christmas,
its supposed to be filled with joy,
yet I'm still here restless
Cant figure out why

if I had a christmas wish,
only one thing that I need,
little piece of happiness
selfishly for me

Why is life such a contradiction
Why is true love only fiction
Why are happy endings as rare as a precious stone
Why does sadness never leave you alone

How can I feel like the stars are within my reach today
But tomorrow is filled with dark clouds taking those stars away
How can the sun light up my world in one second
But darkness sweeps in and shadows my world in an instant

Today is filled with joy and laughter
Tomorrow it's a distant memory replaced by sorrow
Love consumes your every thought
Then hate takes over and pains all you got

Put all your trust in your best-friend
You end up shattered struggling to put the pieces together again
You think you found your soulmate
Dreams are shattered and you scream at fate

Love vs hate,joy vs sorrow
That's what makes up today and tomorrow
For as much as we ask Why Why Why
Earth is full of contradictions until the day we die

I lay here on my pillow,
just thinking of you,
to hold you close,
is all I wanna do,
its cold outside my window,
the rain beats on my window pane,
cant wait to see you in my dreams,
to know how true love really feels,

I've never met an angel,
but feels like you can save me,
to hear your breathe,
lying there by me,
in the darkest december night,
a light shines to light my mood
just lying on my pillow
just thinking of you

your kiss speaks of hidden passion
to feel your heartbeat next to mine
get so lost within your eyes
only you can find me,
to hold you in my arms
my heaven is in view
just lying on my pillow
been dreaming of you

I can feel the glow of happiness of yesterday in my heart
I can feel the shadow of darkness as we drift apart
I can see the joy and laughter of me with you
I can feel the tears slide down my cheek for we’re still through

I can feel the warmth of you lying next to me
I can feel the emptiness of what use to be
I can see the future of our love so strong
But I feel the reality you’re really gone

I cherish the memory of our first hello
My heart breaks as I remember we let it all go
I smile as I remember our first kiss
I cry as I realize there’s so much I’ll miss

I sigh as I remember the promises we made
I scream as I fight to let the memories fade
I sit in silence trying to find traces of our love
The silence deafens me as I struggle to be tough

I chastise myself on what could have been
I accept defeat as I let go of the dream
I close the chapters of the love of my life
I read the final words, THE FINAL GOODBYE

my glass is always half full,
even though the chips are down,
this time I'm the winner,
not the lovesick clown,
just because it means so much,
the stupid little things you say,
makes me want to laugh out loud,
but I'd never put you down that way..

my door is always open,
your tears I'd kiss away,
don't have an ulterior motive.
just here for you I swear,
but when I come to think of it,
I'd love to be your guy
I would never hurt you,
you'd be the sparkle in my eye..

I've a twisted sense of humour,
my practical jokes are fun,
even if you dont see it,
you will in days to come,
my heart is always longing,
to touch your face your skin,
not loving you from the outside,
I'd love you from within

so don't be sad stay a while,
I'll listen to you for years,
simply not a fickle friend,
that listens then disappears,
Always I'd be there for you
But you have heard it all before
you know I'm getting way too close,
I couldnt love you more
