Salt of the Earth

have you ever met them, never keep track a deed's in faith done, givin a help or hand up's them, face in gleam of their treasured life, a door with no lock, a heart of silk gold couraged excitement bubbled within, stories of life so willing to tell purvey'd with conviction an smilin day don'd strife, finger's worked raw to the bone to do what it takes to get it all done, salt of the earth truly they are, their doors always open, silk gold knocker's the sleeved heart that they wear ~

Yeah! You Know Who You Are

The number one girl is the best by far,
She's my sweet beauty, a shining star
as I sit alone in this lovely bar
Can I have another beer Jess?
Yeah! you know who you are,
She's the only girl that seems to grab my attention
and the only one I would show my affection,
She's the only one I seem to have a connection
when I look at the lake I can see her reflection,
She makes me feel like I'm up with the stars
I could travel to Venus directly from Mars
yes she is the best girl, the best girl by far,
Can I have another beer Jess?
Yeah! you know who you are.

"Love..stand close to me..."

Temptation to go away.
Love stand close to me.
Cover my face with kisses.
My heart is racing fast.
Come Love....

My lips are dry, where is my
honey?
Need Love to live, to breathe.
Love stand close to me.
Am lost, in the desert of Lost-Love.

Soft arms, warm hands touch me.
Bright light strikes, am in Love.
Love stand close to me.
Lips locked, two hearts beat as one.
I love you.

Happiness

What is it that you’re searching for?

Is it love?
Is it money?
Maybe fame?

Is it what you can buy or where you can live that gives meaning to the game?

Is it the clothes you can wear or the cars that you drive that bring pleasure to the ride?

Is it the friends that you’re with or where you can go that fills the void inside?

What is it that you’re searching for?

Is it that soft and cozy chair?
The one that makes you feel so good,
Whenever you’re curled up there.

Is it that prominent job, or executive title, that makes the difference for you?

Is it the thought of people listening, when you tell them what to do?

What is it that you’re searching for?

Is it your soul mate?
Good health?
A friend?

If by chance you had these things, would it matter in the end?

What is it that you’re searching for?

What are you trying to find?

If someone had the answer,
Would it somehow ease your mind?

Do you really want to know?
I’ll reveal it if you do,

The answer’s very simple,
But it’s also simply true,

The answer lies in none of these,
But you’ll search these nonetheless,

In pursuit of that elusive thing,
The thing called “Happiness”

The mark we leave

What will be said of me when i'm gone, the thought has oft crossed my mind
Will they say"she was greedy, selfish, and mean?" or will they say"she was gentle, and kind"?
I wish to make a mark on this world,if only to touch but one soul.
To take the hand of a lost, lonley person, and help them from broken, to whole.
When i think of all we do in our lives, to make a good name for ourselves,Then in the end we are to our loved ones..but a picture that sits on their selves.
So i want to be special to someone, who when i'm gone will leave such a mark.
When memories of time spent with me,will be something that comes in the dark.
I don't want my life to be in vein, cause God has a purpose for me,
If only to be a very dear friend, to one as precious as thee!
So think about what will be said..when your not alive, but when your dead.
For the mark we leave on those around us,
Will give our ilfe, meaning, and reason, and purpose!!

Empty Nest

I woke up one morning, the children had flown.
The rooms had echos, laughter and sorrow.
I wandered around empty chambers all through.

I need to know, to see, to feel,
Where did I go, who did I become?

I woke up one morning, the laughter had flown.
The walls were blank, no tears or fears.
I wandered around embracing the quiet.

I need to know, to see, to feel,
Where do I go, when did I choose?

I woke up one morning, smiles so bright.
The decision made, feeling so right.
I wandered around elated all through.

I chose VEGAS baby, what a wonderful gift
I now feel, I now see, I HAPPY with me.

When I think about you

I would think about now and then.
Wondering were you been?
I would always hold back my tears when you come to mind.
Wondering why you left me behind.
You still have a peach of my soul.
The part from keeping me whole.
Until we cross paths again, its what all I have left to hold.
I can image what might have been.
Holding on to the one you love to the very end.
Can we go back again.
To the day that you made me whole.

on this terrain

On this terrain; there is what deserves to be lived for:

April's frequent coming,

Breads aroma on the dawn,

Woman's opinion of men,

Aeschylus's works,

The love's beginning,

Grass on a stone,

And the invaders fear of memories.

On this terrain; there is what deserves to be lived for:

The end of September,

A dame enters the forties with all her apricot,

The sun hour in prison,

Clouds imitating bevies of creatures,

People's cheers to those who went smiling to their death,

And the tyrants fear of songs.

On this terrain; there is what deserves to be lived for:

On this terrain, there is the dame of the terrene,

Mother of the beginnings,

Mother of the finalities,

Here name was Palestine,

Here name is now Palestine,

My dame, I deserve, because you are my dame

I deserve life…
