the storm

Bitter is the water I drink
And shallow is my pool
But my world seems upon the brink
And thirsty is the fool
So let this hate sustain my soul
let anger wet my tongue
let pain take its tole
And wake me when its done
let sorrow feed my sleep
let it fester without pause
let torment be my keep
and life can be the cause
know that death cant satisfy
but only spread the sadness more
there is no way to pacify
this never ending storm

A Vampires Want

I see your beauty for the first time
Basked by the radiance of the moon
In the distance, I hear the wolves howling
Singing together in a perfect, horrifying tune
But you do not see me standing there
For I am constantly a distance from your gaze
A shadow amongst many forgotten souls
See I shall never die, I'll live forever and a day
What I thought was my salvation is my curse
For there is no life that runs through these veins
And I yearn to feel with a full heart
But I cannot feel anything but misery and pain
Maybe I need a companion, a partner
To die by me and be born of darkness anew
That's why I'm right here waiting
Because I can see the pain and hurt that becomes you
I will give you the option to live forever
I will not force my will upon your life
But you will feel no more pain, guilt, or hurt
If you become my undead wife

End of Summer

Clouds,wind, where is the sun?
Dark shade of birds fly.
A storm is heading fast on the sea.
Cold sweat covers my face.
Icy wind brushes my lips.

Trees dance samba, as hissing leaves
droop down.
Sun is gone, no twilght.
Darkness, it is only six.
End of summer-time,I walked slowly home.

I miss Summer, heat on my cheeks, swimming
in the sea of Love.
Happy to dive, jump, and fish till sunset.
Kayaking towards the horizon, reaching for Love.

About this poem:
In my poem, I felt a bit unhappy, as it is now winter, miss summer, happy memories of love, romance, and sea-activities, like swimming, kayaking and fishing.
Birds in the skies, trees, leaves, all describe the arrival of winter, especially, 'icy wind' indicates cold winter.
I hope my poem gives some joy, as life reflects summer/winter...like happy days, and unhappy memories, that is life.

RIDDLE ~ poet unknown

A moth, I thought, munching a word.
How marvellously weird! A worm
Digesting a mans sayings -
A sneaktheif nibbling in the shadows
At the shape of a poets thunderous phrases -
How unutterably strange!
And the pilfering parasite non the wiser
For the words he has swallowed.

The Conquerer Worm ~ by Edgar Allan Poe

Lo! 't is a gala night~
Within the lonesome latter years.~~
An angel throng, bewinged, bedight~
In veils, and drowned in tears,~~
Sit in the theater, to see~
A play of hopes and fears,~~
While the orchestra breathes fitfully~
The music of the spheres.~~

Mimes, in the form of God on high,~~
Mutter and mumble low,~~~
And hither and thither fly-~~
Mere puppets they, who come and go~~~
At bidding of vast formless things~~
That shift the scenery to and fro,~~~
Flapping from out their Condor wings~~
Invisible Woe!~~~

That motley drama-oh, be sure~~~
It shall not be forgot!~~~~
With its Phantom chased for evermore,~~~
By a crowd that seize it not,~~~~
Through a circle that ever returneth in~~~
To the self-same spot,~~~~
And much of Madness, and more of Sin,~~~
And Horror the soul of the plot.~~~~

But see, amid the mimic rout~~~~
A crawling shape intrude!~~~~~
A blood-red thing that writhes from out~~~~
The scenic solitude!~~~~~
It writhes!- it writhes!-with mortal pangs~~~~
The mimes become its food,~~~~~
And seraphs sob at vermin fangs~~~~
In human gore imbued.~~~~~

Out-out are the lights-out all!~~~~~
And, over each quivering form,~~~~~~
The curtain, a funeral pall,~~~~~
Comes down with the rush of a storm,~~~~~~
While the angels, all pallid and wan,~~~~~
Uprising, unveiling, affirm~~~~~~
That the play is a tragedy, "Man",~~~~~
And its hero the Conqueror Worm.~~~~~~

On The Super Highway Of Love

We’ll tell our kids how we met
On the loved up Internet.
I found you in the search engine of my heart.
Romance at the click of a mouse.
We will never be apart.

We’ll tell our kids how we fell
Into a wishing well,
In the classified ads of romance.
Woman seeks Man with a photograph.
It only took one glance.

Our first date was a winner.
You wooed me over dinner.
I was head over heels from Cupid’s bow.
Man seeks Woman with an arrow.
It only took one kiss to know.

So bless our broadband connection
After so much rejection.
Online dating led us to our fate.
Finding each other at last,
My friend,
My partner,
My mate.

~To SWIM an INFLICTED MIRE~

sometimes we choose whats really not us, as we at times conceal our closet'd past's, it stews a tornado of anger an guilt, the anger's ok the guilt's not of us when subjected to someone we deemed we could trust, reaction is deep protective onslaught to preserve to keep what little's left if only a peep. . . we've no idea of other's dark closet'd past if were not told ~
