soft wafting music
drifting filling the night air
with romantic tunes
bower of flowers
full of sweet scented blossoms
alive with colour

The hush before dawn
is fraught with poignant silence
as night turns to day
Trinkling sounds flow
through the air as the river
bounces over rocks
Deep silence abounds
and not a murmur to be heard
stillness shrouding all

The major star who was hundreds of centuries old
was finally dying yet not in vain, for with its death
comes new life and new planets formed as it splinters
Water so cool and clear
life giving to all our worlds
stars birth formed you
As a star dies the gases ignite and fuse into droplets
these then are carried to other worlds to start new life
Scientists believe that all life came from these deaths
Moonshine beams dancing
causing flickering shadows
that dance joyously
Our own moon and all the sun's orbiting planets were
formed in one of these explosions. All we see and touch
came from a dying major star
Sunbeams hit the water
refracting and enhancing
the crystal river
Sometime in the future our own major star the Sun will
die leaving life as we know it gone yet as prophets
have said death is the start of rebirth so lets enjoy our stars
Stars hide their faces
behind the fluffy white cloud
just an odd twinkle

Happy pelican
eating an enormous fish
see his pouch bulging
Merry kingfisher
waiting on his pole for fish
he darts and spears one
Full of joy and fun
the skylark warbles in glee
delight in each note
Fearsome eagle drops
plummeting down like a stone
striking hard he kills

Walking through the sweet flower meadows, I pause to watch the sky lark
as he tumbles joyously in the sunlit sky and perches on a branch
to sing in such sweet melody that mistle thrush and blackbird join in.
Flowers smelling sweet
in such a variety
of colour and shape
A peaceful place to sit and enjoy all nature has to offer
to lean back and let go of every day stress and woes. To
celebrate just the joy of being alive and able to enjoy nature
Nature does her best
if only we care to look
at all her splendours

Death creeps quietly in
often taking by surprise
one last gasp of air
leaving behind pain
sadness, sorrow and such loss
emptiness of heart
days pass by in grief
each becomes full of torment
as one struggles on
no light just darkness
no end is yet to be found
time they say will heal
for them left behind
no peace, just grief smothering
icy heart with blackness

Moon casting shadows
as it shines down through the trees
forming eerie shapes
Exploding stars shoot
across the sky leaving trails
glittering behind
Still mysterious
the lake gleaming in moonlight
silver in beauty
