Ocean

Covered by blue water,
Calm no turbulent,
As far as eyes could see,
Only water in sight,
Vast stretches end to end,
With all its depth,
And all sea creatures.
When the storm arrives,
As far as eye could see,
Only high waves,
Roll and swept,
All the existing creatures around you,
Showing no forgiveness and mercy,
Enjoyable in peaceful time,
But destroy when nature is volatile.

Years More To Grow

For never have i seen a tree as
beautiful in the summer breeze.
Look at you i think to say may i
lay under your huge arms and be
covered by your leaves, branches
Blocking out the hot sun you free
me from the morning rays.
You cover, shelter me from rain.
Oh mighty tree growing strong i
can not wait to see just
how tall you can be.
Many years you will grow way
beyond my lifetime.
You will always be to me a part of
nature God meant for me to see.
Beautiful you are now and will
continue to be throughout your life.
Lovely as can be i see your branches
blowing in the summer breeze.
Putting a fragrance in the air to let
everyone know you are there.
I picture generation of my family
laying under your branches enjoying
the beautiful day.

Gods Own Court

Always certain about the violent and calm sea
Knowing the boundaries jotted in God's own Map....
They explored nature's architecture
Binki Blinked with the moon on sea,
Valentine romanced with naughty salty deep sea.

In that air mixed with wisdom, freedom and thraldom of nature's love
Giant and small fish played with their curiosity, adversity & density
Those flying fish caught their eyes,
They played hide and seek with their nets.
Majestic deep sea had nothing but - romance as an offing;
For that Night filled with abundance of trance.

Their fun was envied by two stars above
Watching the play of Binki and Valentine with fun, like a gaun-
Wishing at least a moment of human life,
Wishing Nirvana from Star Studded life
In that Luminous and mysterious universe....
They Prayed eternally to higher gods for a moment of -
that blissfull and majestic human life.

God Smiled with wisdom,
Abstaining and outlining the outcome,
He deferred to grant - supreme human life !!!
But persistent cry from stars pushed him to limit.
On that fifteenth day of February
Granting the two stars - human life &
Granting the two humans- stars life;
Matter was put to rest in Gods Own court !!!!

Anonymous Am I

Anonymous Am I,
When running through the dessert,
As a wild spirit I fly,
Never thinking of evert,

My feet touching the sand,
Head high up in the sky,
Like I’m never going to land,
I completly rely,

I feel the blood pumping through my veins,
As I speed up my flight,
The adrealine in my brains,
As it widen my sight,

I feel freedom in my soul,
As a wild spirit I fly,
Going without a goal,
Anonymous Am I!

Leaves That Are Green

A young bud sprouts from its parent plant
and blossoms to a lovely rose before long
With time, its beauty fades and it dries up
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

A young sapling takes root and flourishes
Soon a mighty oak stands firm on the ground
With time, it decays to a dried up old tree
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

A baby bird sitting helplessly in its nest
grows into a majestic eagle strong
With time, its glory fades as it ages
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

A defenceless lion cub hidden in its lair
matures into the mightiest beast around
With time, he becomes a decrepit old male
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

A beautiful angelic darling baby girl
becomes a world beauty and wins the crown
With time, wrinkles and old age take their toll
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

Hello to a new life of hope and promise
Goodbye to a life that's now going down
Time marches on irreversibly
and the leaves that are green turn to brown

Anthesis

Embedded image from another site

Please do not disturb the beast in its peaceful and quiet place
Where the dead leaves are dancing merrily in a gentle wind of faith
Along skeleton paths of disheveled trees you can hear them whispering
Honoring autumns remnant decay and conjuring efflorescent spring
While birds begin to whistle in such a sweet soliloquy of melodies
Runaway ye fearless child into the darkness where you sleep
And clear a path for the wild ones leading to your hollowed grove
Where I found feasting among the dead a red blossoming velvet rose
Surrounded by a halo of darkness under a piercing blade of sun light
Tempted by its pleasure the beasts will insist that it's alright
Then by thoughtful contemplation I plucked it as blood mixed with tears began to drop
Painfully I pulled every petal repeating "she loves me so, she loves me not"
My Oh My how the colors have changed with the wondrous seasons reign
I guess she no longer loves me, but isn't that just natures way
Shy away you phantoms and let the new cycles of life rebuild their homes
Leave the undead to worry for themselves and let my luminous flowers grow

The seasons

In the summer we played
through the warm
sunny days,
we laid back
and soaked up the rays.

In the fall
we dressed up,
drank cider
from a cup
not wanting
to view the
seasons facts.

Now winter has come
our sweaters
we don
cooped up inside
by the fire
we reside
living through
winters pain.

Finally! spring
has sprung
we jump
and run
through the
pouring of
the rain.

Dirt

Embedded image from another site

Dirt only knows how to be honest it's man who makes it stain
A dirty mouth, a dirty thought, or by something more mundane
Without it there isn't pond or lake nor any oceans to behold
To generate the wind over land and flowers to be blown
It cradles all the roots of plants for all that needs to eat
Giving to the trees that give our lungs the air to breathe
Dirt will leave it's mark upon the hands of an honest working man
It's the smudges on the faces of little children when they laugh
Add a little water and it becomes a thing we use to build
Then give it a little time and history is frozen still
It is as much a part of us as we are to the earth
It's the purist form of life and even in death it will rebirth
She is the mother of our creation and gentle like a woman's eyes
She comforts our existence and the apple of our heavens sky
So when that day should come please don't place me in a wooden case
Throw dirt upon my naked body so that gardens may take my place

Terra and Luna

terra opens her robe
and luna softly slips in..
mother comforting daughter
as the shadow spins

hiding each other
from dawn of day
holding each other
to keep the sun away

but alas the sun
will not be held back
mother loses daughter
as the robe goes slack

the moon slides away
sky slowly brightens
the old sun rising
to bring a new day

Travel challenge.....Orientalkoru

I was asked to go to tassie
to do some work down there
no anchors in my life
no worries i said without care
a plane trip down to melbourne
did open my eyes wide
the terminals so far apart
in between macca's did reside
after dragging my gear along
for about a kay and a half
i reached the gate of departure
with not a skerrick of a laugh
boarded that jet all tuckered out
but my enthusiasm high
snuggled into that seat
and let the flight enthuse my sigh
it was hot when we left
but the clouds came rolling in
with it came the cold
and nowhere to be seen my grin
it drizzled when we landed
it drizzled when we ate
it drizzled when we arrived at camp
it drizzled till very late
then it poured like there was no tomorrow
and then it bloody stopped
and then without warning
it poured a bloody lot
i didn't see too much the time i was there
my bum was up and my head down
no time there was to spare
but i do remember seeing
the densest forest i have ever seen
as i clambered up the hill
it stretched for miles beautiful and green
you could not see a metre in
it was so very dense
it called out to me
its beauty made sense
i'd swear i'd go back
and spend a year there
and explore the place they called tassie
an experience i'd like to share ........
