Thinner Retold

There once was a fat man who weighed 300 pounds
He accidentally hit an old woman with his car
Her father was a good man
So he gave the guy who hit his daughter a blessing
He touched his cheek and said "145"
Soon the guy was losing weight
In six months he was 145 pounds
He could eat anything he wanted to
He found the gypsy who gave him the blessing and helped out his family
With his millions he made it so the family had nice things and good food
They all shared many strawberry pies and lived happily ever after
The End

Angels in the sea

One night I had a dream
I couldn't talk nor scream

Out of a silvery pristine sea
I saw Angels dancing so effortlessly

Flying to and fro they had a greenish glow

Such a beautiful site to see
I had hoped they come to rescue me

Suddenly, a whirlwind of light and love filled my whole being and I was placed on a platform with circular light rings

I felt such beauty and warmth and visions of crystal temples shapes seeming so complex but, effective and simple

I began to wonder if I died and went to Heaven and suddenly, a voice in my head said unto me

"Beloved son of man how blind you seem to be if you were dead would you experience such ecstasy?"

I pondered for a moment about such a thought and yes it is all for naught.

Then out of a flash of light there a appeared such a beautiful sight

Hundreds if not thousands of beautiful angels so lovely to behold none young or old

I asked who they were and what they wanted from me
They spoke without a word but to my heart and mind in kind so gently

"Beloved brother of mine and ours we are your sisters and brothers and friends from another dimension and time"

" We bring you here from time to time to show your true self in kind"

I looked upon all I saw of technology and healing of the heart and mind a spiritual journey ever sublime

I wondered if I was still dreaming and an angel spoke to me, "This is your reality not the world you live in everyday, we just appear to you in a dimension that you can understand our ways

What you see of us is only an idea to offer you from your point of view yet, we are beyond your understanding and we see and know your troubles you hold so true

You may ask why we do not intervene but, quite often we do only to a select few

Your world is still not ready for what's in store to bring much healing and love and more

Open your heart to what you believe and let go of your fears to be relieved.
Unlearn your past experiences see them wash away
In our truth there is no past or future but, only today

Humans sing and cry for love without offering it and wonder why they still can't find their way

They want but, rarely do they give
it's kind of a contradiction to live

Nevertheless, we sit in another dimension observing your human contention

All we can do is sit and wait and watch you decide your fate

Yet, we forgive you for you know not what you do
We were very much like you and still learning and growing to see life renewed

Hence, go our beloved and teach with kindness what we showed you. Though many will still reject our truth and that is their choice

For they are free to have their point of view. As the saying goes don't shoot the messenger for one day the truth will be revealed to each and everyone of you.

Edge of Darkness

Getting ever so close to the edge of darkness
I see it with great starkness

My beloved calls to me as she walks out from the foamy sea
Her beauty is beyond measure and truly a treasure

Surrounded but very much alone nothing but, painted faces molded like stone
I see the emptiness of my soul and the depth of black water waiting to drown me in a very deep hole

Many will tell me I dug myself into such a place
Hence, I am but, my own disgrace
Oh they say there is always a choice its just a matter which voice I am willing to hear that will wipe away my fear

The edge of darkness is just too strong and there is no ideal truth or pretty song that will make things right or wrong its where I belong

Pretending for just one more day of hope but, finding it still too hard to cope whats just one more shot of dope?

Oh how it feels to escape the pain I dont care what it does to my brain all that matters is for a moment to break the chain

The edge of darkness is near I can actually embrace it and have no fears I cant even recognize my tears all I hear is the ringing in my ear

Soon it will be over I will be on other side there is no more reason to hide
To those who know or knew me I say goodbye. I will fade away and be just a vapor of empty thoughts that once took space but, had no face

The darkness is near its coming upon a black shadow ever so clear. The knight upon a mare he rides upon a cloud as death is his shroud
He comes to take me to a place I have never been
All l see is a frightened little boy sitting alone among his broken little toys and a box full of his sins

Yet, who is his judge but, the fool he sees through the looking glass feeling like a stupid a** yet, he knows he is easily replaced by 100 other would be suitors for a bride to sit on their grace

The knight upon his mare rides through the darkness of his soul as he blindly rides to his demise as the shroud of darkness covers his eyes

He journeys through the dead of night high upon a hill to his delight. The valley below is full of shadows and sounds of cries and moans that shake the stones

Oft in the distance there shines a light ever so bright. There stands his beloved as she calls unto him come and take my hand that I may guide you to the light.

Walk away from the world you know and step into where you belong where silver streams flow
and pretty flowers all in a row await to feed your soul

On the other side of the edge of darkness rests the light of love and beauty with all its mystery.
If want you want out of the darkness step into the light and see all your cares and burdens wash away in the hope of a new day

The choice is yours silly old fool. You can ride upon your mare to the edge of time and space and still be lost in your disgrace or change the path your on before its too late

Dont let this world around you decide your fate old boy make a stand to stop playing the fool
Stop wasting your life on silly damsels who have no heart who play you like a tool

Your Knightmare is half finished and you still have time to create a dream if you believe

The Quotes Garden - XIII – Envision

"The Quotes Garden"

[ XIII ]

Envision

“Ah thus, my life – a circle – from which I’ve been the dot,
Expansion of a vision, in spiralling a knot,
It’s not as what it seems, a strife that I must have ought
In meanings of a whole; - nor endlessness I sought! –
Unnecessary dreams! By madness, driven out by thought,
Without a reason why – without a need, to know,
Nor to believe a lie, as neither gods to bow –
As deeper, as it goes, the squeezing of that whole
To such an understanding, in filling up that hole;
But I – the dot – again, without to even wonder
How long has been since so alike the rumbling thunder,
I fall in time and space, electrified rolling,
The rawest of them all – a beast! – unleashed from the knot
From which an abyss rise, beyond that world – and growling,
Without the urge of such a breath of fury, I am what I am not!

You tell me who am I – for I don’t know what’s in; -
I’ve never had a reason, for asking what’s between,
Nor I, to even dare, to seek a depth, in all,
For such an endless knotting of what it binds that whole,
As everything that shatters my world is just this dot
Who tells me what I am. I know then what I’m not.
Enclosure to a circle?! Does not belong to lines,
As all I’ve seen in nature, is rhythm! to which aligns,
By dots and curves, - o, meaning! - alike these rotten vines,
To which in a seclusion, there’s language within signs!..”

The Quotes Garden - XII – The bard’s awoken spirit

"The Quotes Garden"

[ XII ]

The bard’s awoken spirit

“Oh! Plenty wars, to seek, with eager men to die,
As many weaken hearts, to spread by peace, a lie,
With filled minds of wrath and empty mouths of blood,
With wicked whispers near, as far as weapons flood
The same old wrecked world where tyrants rule and thrive
The everlasting crowd – and o, alas! At last!! Who feels alive?!
The dim over the candle, which spread the lofty dreams
Among those shadows – lost – in such a sprout of beams,
The ripple softly falling, of golden cup’s beheading,
When fiercy swords are drawn, for jewels fall when shedding?..
Or maybe broken bones, for masters, and cruel laws for tyrants,
As well as lots of aces rise to crush such heap of ants,
- If not – why not?! – more stones, to build the shrines for giants
Which never seems to end the poison among plants?!..
Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! There’s no one, left alive,
To tell the story further for ears that strive to listen
Such nonsense of a mirror from which the whispers glisten
Around the edges, death – this blade who guards the hive;
There’s nothing else to raise, for heads that lies beneath
A truth that’s long forgotten, replaced by some gods
Which often show at wars, to spill more blood – such odds! –
Where wrath had sunk already, like ivy changes heath;
Without a fear of dying, there’s one, among the ravens
That lurks around these realms, to mourn, to weep, to yell:
From death, to life, the bard’s awoken spirit, - look!!
Where silence seems to cure, had nothing else to tell!..”

The Quotes Garden - XI – To a nightingale

"The Quotes Garden"

[ XI ]

To a nightingale

“Oh, no! Thy veil, o, moon! My stained heart!
These copper dreams, to rip them off,
To slain each glimpse of life – and.. oh!
It’s still another way to go?! So soon?! Thou art!
Such young, may seem, to find right paths
In which the lore hath found a rhythm,
For that – to which – a world’s best end,
As heeds rough times, besets apart
The whisper I extend?!
So old, to know what’s been a trick,
A dim of light, a candle’s ruby sprout; -
Thou art alive – or dead!?! What maze!
What thought, arose! What depth! A lair!
Oh, no! I gaze! Thy lore, has not been found
In every blade of grass I’m sinking,
Nor thunderbolts which cuts me through,
As both in light they seem to break apart,
Like me and you! O, my beloved, pale moon!..
There is no star, without a name beset to shine!
There is no sea in which to mirror mine!
Thou must be like a rhythm that changed all,
A pulse arising hearts in singing waves to fall;
I wonder: how to breathe, when lungs are full of dust,
Or how to move, at least?! In such a grave, I’m lost!
In such a grieving heart, the shadow it may cast,
In such a wreck, another beast! What feast, indeed!
Where were you, o, beloved muse?! Take heed –
Thou art the last among the stars I need
And there is nothing else I’d like to do
Than standing near my grave – to watch upon you,
- Oh, you! Oh, you, my beloved, everlasting nightingale!..”

The Quotes Garden - X – The Eyes

"The Quotes Garden"

[ X ]

The Eyes

“I have to look inside these eyes
Which deeply search for who’s within
The core, - to know what’s in between
A soul?! I vow, it never dies!..
How long it’s been? These lights have seen
Bright minds, to shield a tempting maze,
Strong hearts, to build the life I gaze
- And who’s to blame this world of lies?!
O! Northern star! O! Hidden dragon!
Such life, to waste, in hopes to win
A cruel war! I’m full of sin! In shame, I grin;
My veil turns black, to spill this flagon
Of griefy ends, when dreams break through,
Amends that law who binds you too,
To squeeze the core for such a spin
Within the grave I’ve never been…

I have to grasp what in these eyes
Have made me feel alive; -
By depth, a meaning; who’s within?!
The brightest star, that never dies –
A soul?! O, soul!! Where have you been!?!
A beast, escaping from a hive,
To feel the burst of sin?! Such waste!..
The world I’ve seen, to lead you in,
The tide I’ve raised, to light your shore,
The mouth that held a path of lore,
The breath of life, asking for more,
Have all these been in vain?! Just dive!
Bright minds, to fill this maze of lies,
Strong hearts, to shield the dome with dreams,
- And, yes! Indeed! – Within these realms,
The core you gaze, it’s right beneath your eyes!..”

The Quotes Garden - IX – The Whirl within the World

"The Quotes Garden"

[ IX ]

The Whirl within the World

“O! Rise forth, thy Whirling of the whole, –
A Pulse is what a Life and Death, amend,
Thou Lore hath core, where none awakens thee!
The Word thou warps around an edge, to be
What whirls, within thine seed! – and as they blend,
Thy Soul, thou ART, as nothingness shows all!
- There shines, thine core, which binds the whirling World!..

Thy Soul, is Lore hath found a path to thee?!..
What sparkling waving, turns, thine bliss?
Where rhythms thee finds, thou Pulse, conceives?!
Below the depths, where deeper sighting tree
Whirls trembling waves, which only Soul perceives,
Thy Lore hath found the Heaven or the abyss?..
O! And what has seen the World, and what, thy Muse, thou miss?!..”

Carrie Retold

Carrie was a popular girl at her school
She was really good at playing volleyball
She had a loving mother and father who supported her
Carrie had a really nice boyfriend named Tommy Ross
They went to the prom together and were elected King and Queen
For the amusement of the patrons Carrie showed off her telekinesis
The ability to move objects with her mind
Everybody was entertained and had a great time
Carrie went on to marry Tommy Ross and supported him well
She became bigger than Michael Jackson with her special gift
She not only moved objects with her mind, but moved the world to peace
All lived happily ever after
The End

About this poem:
Stephen King just celebrated his 75th birthday on September 21. I enjoy his first novel of Carrie, which as you know, ends rather badly.
