That story brings a tear to my eye. I'm a little saddened you have neglected to involve the French culture, so I think the decent thing to do, is boil up some frogs and snails.

I had a great uncle many years ago, his wife died and he suffered the most terrible grief. He became very dull company, only ever talking about his health problems nobody could solve. He'd go from doctor to doctor, changing doctor the minute they suggested lifestyle or mental health... Eventually he found a doctor that would open him up and take a look, and he died shortly afterwards. There was nothing physically wrong with him.
It all sounds rather complicated. It might be easier to meet in person, and take it from there. Tempting though it may be to propose marriage after a few messages here.
Yes, I agree. Its always funny to look in the morning, and see something written in a different part of the world where its late at night... And, I know I've been guilty myself, and written something cringeworthy.

Yeah anlee, the lid is brand new glass, you can see the handle of it on top.Wen... Yeah that's pretty much what's happened to all my other saucepans. I do a fair bit of smoke alarm cooking.
