I'm one who tries to please too many too often and I'm often depleted of energy.
Complaining people do it to me every time. I try to help to the extent that it has an adverse effect on me in the end and they never thank you for it, so I'm trying to grow a thick skin.
I've already contributed to this thread as a Taurean myself, but I'd just like to include my beautiful daughter who is also a Taurean (more fiery than me though!) and her birthday is on the 7th May.
Ok you've been honest so hats off to you, but you haven't exactly endeared yourself to many people with your honesty.
You are 60 years old and if you prefer young fit bodies that's your business, but your post says it all, attractive, younger women interested in an older man like you is not generally because they think YOU are fit. More to do with how FAT your wallet is.
I'm 46 and probably not in what constitutes your fit league, no matter, but you are too old for me (having had an experience with a man of your age) and not in my fit league either - and I'm not just referring to the physical aspect here.
You see I don't need your money or citizenship. Makes a difference doesn't it?
The worst thing to do when you retire is sit back and do nothing.
Retired people these days are healthier and often younger than in the past so they should get out there and do the things they dreamed of during the 9 - 5 work slog.
Unfortunately financial constraints may mean that the dream is not realised and that's often when lethargy sets in.
It may be boring advice, but if you can, plan financially for your retirement as early as possible so that you can achieve your dreams.
But generally, don't you think that supposedly complete, normal, sane people are capable of displaying all or many of the negative tendencies mentioned in the thread with no real threat to the relationship? Isn't that often just difference of opinion and the power struggle to win your corner?
You will see this behaviour in young children - we all want to convince another that our opinion/view is the right one and we will fight for it if we believe we are right. That's human nature.
Why are some people only half complete anyway? Why can't two 'incomplete' people equalise?
