There used to be an ongoing advertisement in the UK, not sure if it still runs, about Marmite, you either love it or hate it because it is so distinctive in flavour.
That reminds me of you Cristina. I love Marmite BTW!
It's a beautiful country with lovely people just like anywhere else in the world. Lots of things which are wrong, corruption being the biggest evil, but huge countries like Russia..... and the USA suffer problems unimaginable to us little Europeans.
Yes, it was a nice date but there was no romantic click for me. a shame because he is a genuinely nice man. Just thought I'd mention that to demonstrate that there is so much more to finding 'the one'!
I would never expect a man to pay for everything on a first or subsequent date.
I had a date quite recently (not CS or dating site related) and he arranged to pick me up and take me on a sightseeing tour just outside Moscow. I was delighted to discover that he had brought me flowers, and had packed a little picnic.
How sweet is that! Much nicer and more thoughtful than being taken to any expensive restaurant.
How true Trish. Even if I were teaching in the worse school in the USA or the UK, or anywhere for that matter, for violence, I would not carry a gun. I teach, that is my job, I don't, as you so rightly point out, bear the responsibility for shooting anybody who violates my classroom and threatens my students.
What kind of image would that leave in the mind of a student? My teacher shot down somebody. How could I ever go back to that same group of students and talk about the futility of violence.
It's very sad for me as a teacher that even these measures have to be taken, but in the world we live in, particularly in the USA, which does seem to have the worse record for violence using firearms in schools.....why is that by the way? it is by far the most sensible solution.
The most recent site blocked for me here was a Russian journalist organisation. I can't remember the name but I'm searching again.
As for the US, I know that a poll made by CNN regarding the justification of the Russian rebuttal in Georgia was removed after Russian sympathisers flooded it with comments, so although sites may not be blocked in the USA, they may well be 'edited' or 'modified'.
Since being in Russia I've noticed that a few internet sites have been blocked. Only a few, or at least it seems that way, and they are sites that probably aren't of much interest to most people.
I'm not talking about the blocking of US sites that occurred in Georgia for a short time recently.
This is an ongoing complaint, you're not the only one.
My profile states not looking yet I continue to get messages, most of which are from kids younger than my son or daughter. Today I had three different ones from 'boys' all of whom were younger than 25!
Russian news is focussing on two jets being shot down by Georgian forces and that more than 10 Russian peacekeepers in South Ossetia have been killed and more wounded.
I have to say that the enlightened Russian people here are sceptical of anything on the news though.
RE: Where is ms right!!
Well I'm impressed that you used 'MS'.
