Relatively interesting but obvious really. The way the article and pitfalls are explained it's clear that the older person in the relationship is invariably the male with few to no exception. Women generally have a lot more sense and want men of similar age to themselves.
Males who chase much younger women will of course get left behind when the young woman feels embarrassed and ashamed to be seen with an old bloke. The bloke will end up alone and the young woman will find a man of her own age and put the embarrassing, tawdry old bloke in the past and never talk him and pretend she doesn't even know him a few months later when she's mixing with people of her own age.

1) In the new scheme of things, you will always be number three.

2) Some of those little tykes are threatened by having competition for mom's love and become little holy terrors.

3) One false accusation of touching on the bad place, or even just parental discipline, can end your normal life. (I've had to defend such people in court. You really have to swim upstream to make it even a level playing field).

Well that's an interesting read and I cannot dispute any of those points. I'd like to add a sixth, if I may.

Lawyers are not fungible. They are not generic, but like anyone else, such as priests, accountants, mechanics and Jedi, some are good (and good at what they do) and some are bad: argumentative, vindictive and greedy.

I suppose, as in any other field of endeavor, you have to be careful not to pick one from the dark side of the Force, because, if you do, you get a Bad Egg with Superpowers.

On the other hand, having a lawyer by your side can be a very, very handy thing indeed.

Couple things.

1) Girls pick the guys, not the other way around.

2) Some girls DO go for dirtbags and Bad Boys. Dunno why, but then again attraction is primal.

3) IF the female survives and IF she wakes up, she'll recognize the good feeling of not living in constant fear. If not, she may be one of many self-induced DV casualties. In my line of work, we'd find a damsel in distress, move heaven and Earth to help her find shelter, and keep the beater from her, and in short order, she's selected another beater, just as bad as the first. Perhaps a psychologist can give a better analysis.

4) Assuming this particular female wakes up, what sort of damage has she sustained? Permanent damage? STDs? Kids? Is she even desirable at this point?

5) I suppose the results vary by the individual, but this is what happens when we are governed by emotions, unchecked by logic.

6) Contrariwise, I suppose just as many, if not more, women are very practical in mate selection. Guys who were nerds in high school, but now commanding 6 figures, are as likely as not able to meet up with a fine woman.

There is an ancient Chinese saying: "In writings (books) there are Golden Houses."

I've NEVER asked a man or anyone for that matter, if 'This dress makes me look fat' or asked for any opinion on what I wear. It's a stupid question. Get a mirror and see what you look like ladies....turn around, hold the hand mirror up to see what your a** looks like. Shit... what's the big deal. If you need to ask someone if you look fat, then you probably are and NOTHING you put on will change that. Learn to dress to look your best and quit asking for acceptance from another source!
