Some men respond by ringing constantly even when you're at work and can't talk . Men are not perfect either , none of us are . Silent treatment is being passive aggressive but better than screaming and shouting at each other like some people do. We can all learn to improve our behaviour if we acknowledge we have a problem but some behaviour is so ingrained a person may need professional help to gain insight and skills to change tge behaviour. The problem then is finding a properly qualified person since some so called therapists know even less than we do ourselves on the subject but happily charge you big professional fee. It's never too late to learn ,to grow ,to become the better version of ourselves.

Now scammers from "Ukraine" are very common ......... telling lots of funny stories. Like they are very professional PhD but working now in former Soviet Republic (in poor country now) and want to visit you and need money for passport, flight etc ......... and then when applying for "visa" they will need to "prove" living money and that can be like $ 85/ day and they will bring the money back to you. Just need to prove it "now" so to get the visa......... etc etc etc ......... all is a scam and they do it not bulk in one go but step by step as they know you already paid like $ 400 and then $ 450 and so on.......

@ Sheila 47. When people hide behind a screen they do whatever they want as there is no consequences for their behaviour. Ignore, block, move on and never send money to anyone.

Have been giving hell to these perverts (I don't even believe they are human) for several years. I was scammed in 2013 and I have a deep loathing for anyone who hurts another person in any way, shape or form. I have run across many of them in varying sites, but CS seems to be particularly rich.

Last evening was particularly fruitful. I usually come online and there is no one to talk to.... but, last night I had no less that 8 gentlemen who wanted to chat. I looked to make sure the moon wasn't full or something. I do not allow myself to get too engaged in the ways they try to "pull me in". But, one particular man did and I was totally blindsided. No money exchanged, no ugly words were exchanged. This one was clearly a 'native'...meaning nothing in his language remotely intimated that he was in another country or from another country, i.e. Africa!! I can usually spot that so quickly. So, I need to watch myself because I truly was willingly engaging with him. He didn't ask for money, he didn't profess love, he didn't do anything until he ghosted me today. And that made me angrier than if I had sent me a pile of money. It's just such an evil, immature, hateful, despicable way to treat another human being. We have come to be so complacent about "mean" things, bad manners, hateful comments and actions and a whole lack of empathy and compassion to our fellow humans. We are mean. I have no problem with giving them a dose of their own medicine.

Delete, block, & ignore.
Scammers will leave you alone.

Knowing DIGITALTECHHACKER @ GMAIL COM has really made me know who my husband really is and also brought out a lot of truth about my husband. i was able to access his email and also his text messages without any notice and the things i saw was so heart breaking. This is pretty accurate. However, it is not only 'men' who are the scammers. I have been scammed twice: once for money and once, which was much more insideous, offering an exorbitant amount of money to manage a "Trust Fund" if I got married to the woman. The whole thing was so 'lop-sided' as to information given being full of 'hooks' - statements that make no sense - "love" after the first message exchange,outlandish stories with huge promises, etc. Be careful with your Heart and use your "gut intuition"!

I know they are scammers... when they only have one picture or want to talk to you on whatsapp or skpe. (crying) I feel like they try to scam me because I'm near 40 and single and alone (crying)... I do have feeling and have to say to you scammers... SHAME ON YOU!!!!! SMH!

I have experienced the same scenario. I do not understand the temerity of men who have reached our age. Surely they have enough self-confidence to either greet me or answer an uncomplicated, hello. I do not fault them for arduous past relationships, but would hope that the desire for a new life would strengthen their resolve to grasp that new life and love ir partner.

I suspect Ms Cougar may need to be my default.
