Don't give up on me

Share my pain.
Show me love
Everytime you see me, give me a hug
Never leave me standing
Never leave me alone
Never leave me wondering something is wrong
Hold me close, never let me go.
This pain that I'm feeling is so hard not to show.
Caress my back
Caress my thighs
Tell you don't really believe those lies
Kiss my lips
And touch my face
Tell me impossible for me to be replaced
Hold my hand
Hold my heart
Don't let anyone come and tear us apart
I'm yours
You are mines
Tell it's so before we run out of time

Careless Kiss

I saw you then that night taking that secret kiss,
Now your eyes look at me with wonder,
Did you really think my heart would let this go amiss,
Yes it is in my eyes the thunder,

You wanted time to yourself to be a little free,
I did as you asked so you could feel alive,
Why did you kiss them? Why not me?
I turn away so you cannot see my heart plummet, takes another dive,

So I tell you why am feeling hurt,
You dismiss this as you say it did`nt matter,
You stand defiant, your words very curt,
Hearing this my heart did shatter,

If the shoe was on the other foot,
Would you be so blaisey over the same,
I doubt if I would have time to breathe having been given the boot,
So for all this sadness a careless kiss is to blame.

About this poem:
Have you ever been in that situation? Was it deliberate or just a bit of fun at the time? Sometimes things get out of hand and before you know it all is lost. No it has not happened to me but my mind was thinking along the lines of the song Careless Whisper so have made my own song up as such.

The sound of lonelines

These photos of us
Are the smell of the path
Where I will always come back
And never find you there

These voice notes of us
Are the sound of love
We once used to sing
But already forgotten

These tears of mine
Are the witness
That I still love you
No matter what

Drifting Heart

Drifting heart
upon the waves of life tossed to and fro
We said goodbye and now I've

No place to go
No place to start
Guess from now on I'm just a drifting heart

If I travel far and wide
It'll do me no good
Without her there by my side

I went to the doctor and when he looked at my chart
He said the way she's done you
Love has stung you forever to be a drifting heart

Once More

You lit a flame deep in my soul
That warms my inner being
You opened a door to my heart
That i was actually fleeing

You pulled back the curtains in my eyes
An let the light of love shine through
Healing an mending as it goes
To change my point of view

You took my hand by demand
An steered a harrowing coarse
Through the corridors of passion
Upon loves sensual horse

You soothed my soul an released my pain
With the gentle touch of your hand
Wet lips they caressed invitingly
As if from a mystic land

Your silky skin is a sin
That no man would deny
For that dear lady is what i love
Heed me ...for i do not lie

I wish you well in everyway
For destiny was our curse
Distance created barriers
Our hearts could not immerse

But just as you said once before
We've both given each other so much more
To move forward an open the door
To let love in........Once more

missing you

Strong winds are blowing
Tears streaming down my face
Smiling feels no taste
Trying to survive life
in a different place
Knowing no other could take your place
my heart has an empty space
Life isn't a race
you left in such a haste
As I sit in this empty place
I must accept
God blessed you with his grace

The Dreamer

If I had a house upon a hill
If I had a place of my own
The only thing else I would need
Is for a girl to love me

If I had clothes like a lawyer
A job that paid as well
The girl I am dreaming of
Would know I could never fail

I'm lucky to have a shirt
And a faded pair of jeans
What girl wants a guy
With only faded dreams

I see a trail of dust as her car passes by
She doesn't know my name, has never seen my face
How much longer can I
Wonder all alone so out of place

Just a house upon a hill
A place to call my own
The only thing else I would need
Is for a girl to love me

"Fireside Chair"

I sit alone by the phone remembering
When you used to call
Your fireside chair is empty
The shawows of the flames
Dancing on the wall
Once you said you'd never leave me
But God called
Now I gaze into the fire
The flames flicker by night
While I sit on my fireside chair
Writing you this note
Your gentle hand embracing me
By day and by night
Oh I remember you
When we first met
Many years ago
We actually got into a fight
Now I look at your empty fireside chair
And there is no one about
The fire is a great comfort
Especially at night
I will keep our memories burning
Your fireside chair is waiting
For your spirit to return
Oh darling I loved you
You were my number one
The flames are flickering
Time for you to return
Darling Husband what has God done
Taken you away from me
From your fireside chair

Blissful Interlude in Time

Just an interval, a space in time

Precious moments together as lovers entwined

A gentle passion, wild flowers given, poetry written

How sublime to feel beautiful, so special

Basking in the sun, feeling the warmth of your body

In that moment in time you were completely mine

Love's Labour's Lost

I had matured,
Like a fine red,
Amidst the vinegar pleasures,
Of the flesh.
I found my voice.
And entered the kingdom,
Of contentment,
But it was a place,
Formed by temporary alliance,
The senses ruled,
And the imagination heightened,
It produced such ecstasy.
I wanted it like an obsessive fool,
It had to last,
But there looking at me,
With Medusa eyes,
Was the cold hillside.
You are mortal,
Elysium is not for you,
And love was lost,
In that fleeting moment,
Taken from my grasp,
By another’s reality.
