Tell Tale Lines
In the smoke filled fiery heart, hides passion
Every thumping beat pumping desire for her
Wishing for the warm light of her eyes to light up the midnight star filled sky
Having met her enriched his life and impassioned him
The bubble of his life now expanded because of her
He tried to be patient and balanced, trying to understand the impossible
Hoping she would help them both be at ease with life
Driving blindly alone through this painful misadventure, without knowing it
He feels weak and as if drunk with it all, unsteady on his feet
His own love, passion, blind faith and desire for life did this to him
Sharing them with someone, who then used and took what they wanted
Using all that he was, throwing a leftover broken shell into the gutter
A broken hearted man turned away now shrouded in self doubt
The walls of what was his life cracking, crumbling, now scattered into dust
Falling through the midnight darkness, blindly stumbling, now nothing but a shadow
The misery of emotion weighs him down, while going aimlessly in relentless circles
This once happy life, now full of pain, still carrying with him the hope that died
His soul and heart ravaged, torn apart, ground into nothingness, not even dust
What is now left, is an empty void, a numbness of total loss, he is full of confusion
His craggy lived in face, now carrying a few more extra tell tale life lines.

I wandered through many open gates
trod a delicate worn path
I Stood alone
I looked out to sea
sadly
there's nothing there for me
Some heartfelt cries from deep within
would bring me to a sigh
My soul was weary
Deep love is just a lie
It brings forth the wrentching ache
No love here to save
Just tears sliding through my heart
To lay upon a watery grave
What level can be put
what measure of the mind
I'm lost again
Its me I cannot find
Your view of me has gone
I look and that is true...
Woe! of Love
is only for the few
It rests within our souls
For wandering times may crawl
Your name upon my breath
I am mute to even call
When sensed
Its how we spend our time.....
I came across you,
and wavered in lieu
Of seconds of the days go by
So, I was in wait of you
It was all a painful lie
There is no blame to cast out
no ragged souls to reel in
Just empty space of time
There is no place for sin
As dawn to moonlight
an opposite love
which took its lonely toll
Here now I stand
against the wind
Just a silent naked soul

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
When I'm without you,
Life is boring as hell.

I Like you for who you are
Not for what you can be
Likening you is the best thing ever happened to me
With you my world is at peace just because you like me
And not for what I can be

I don't understand why does she want to hurt me
And why hasn't this ended yet
All I can figure out
Is that she's playing hard to forget
A few memories still linger on
And sadly I'm reminded of regret
Now she keeps me from moving along
She's playing hard to forget
Behind the scenes what's happening
I'm in the dark and everyone can bet
Tomorrow she'll hurt me again
She's playing hard to forget

pain commenced an evil twist
some call it fate
others call it woe
this to me you bestow
a change of heart
this is the start
as my mind goes to and fro
darkened dungeons
beconning calls
my heart in confusion
builds a wall
blocking any intrusion
hid away from the world today
this wall it is my dungeon
alone i wait my fate
my head it hurts
i swear it feels
as if hit by a truncheon

The time will come
The time will go.
But you my friend
Should always know.
I'll be there thought
all the years.
And when its your turn
i'll come down and help
you fly

We made a date - I couldn't wait to see her
(And there is no love the cynics say).
Well, maybe I'm just a hopeless dreamer -
With nothing new to show except dismay.
On my part no intention to deceive her;-
That all the stars in all their glittering fey
Should fall tonight - my bitter disappointment; -
I'd been stood up;- this is how the story went: -
I'd seen you on the net - your name was Tracey
While I felt blue sorrow at its heights; -
I waited there two hours for you today
To walk in through that door for my delight.
I waited well past noon - to my dismay -
(I thought that what you did - you did for spite)
Two hours in a tavern on a hill -
You never came; - and so I must wait still.
And so we must forgive or never know
What could have made (perhaps) forgiveness real
Or maybe t'were afraid your heart to show
In case you had to proffer how you feel.
We should have given love some time to grow; -
(It seemed that your deception was surreal)
I then went on the internet and checked; -
I'd been stood up;- in all of its neglect.
The next day you rang up and bitterness
Disappeared - I could accept your reason.
You told me why- the fault you could redress -
Though - if you could not that day - I ask - when?
I thought the worst of you (I must confess); -
Just another excuse - and who needs one?
Now our love - if any; - will have to wait; -
As we both look forward to - a proper date.

I sat here waiting for you..breathlessly anticipating the moment that u found me, and I found you. I would know you would know because we've met before, not here not now but in another life...u look at me and I smiled I felt butterflies as u laughingly flirted with me I flirted back, n then I knew it was you, my senses cleared the world was right again papa was home...

Why does she do it
From one fool to another
For I treated her well
As did no other
A game for fools
Of lust and lure
There's no room for love
Of that I'm sure
Social Media
Should it be all to blame
For it's the souls upon thousands
That put pen to bad name
I feel for her I do
When her heart again is broken
For I treated her well
Of this I am outspoken
But still the game continues
and I'll be there to catch the tears
she knows not what she wants
Amidst her hopes & fears

About this poem:
What it means & what it's about?
It means everything to some
and nothing to others
It's about love lost to fools that need saving from themselves
Why I wrote it?
Putting pen to verse is self therapy :)
How I was feeling?
My feelings are my own, although evident in my pen.
