I think of the Aborigine's last plight
To tell of the Rainbow Serpent* in its might
Wherein the ancient dream time lies your soul
And the strength of ancient myth becomes your all.
For my young country Australia -
I tell of my dismay and love for her
I sing my all and in my praise for you
Hear the ancient haunting rhythm of didgeridoo.
Generations old and lost in time
Rock paintings in the Kimberley sublime
Dot paintings are the desert's oldest art
The living Dreamtime spirit at its heart.
One day they'll be when black and white unite
To recognize the black man in his fight
To seek the white man's peace in destiny
We must first make peace with the Aborigine.
To put the Constitution right now in its laws
To love the black man instead of to abhor
And to the Stolen Generation, a treaty give
Will make our country stronger - live and let live.
To lift the black man up with helping hand
Like Gough Whitlam ** unto you did pour his sand***
From white to black we still have far to go
From black to white forgiveness we must know.

About this poem:
* The main deity in Aboriginal mythology
** 21st Prime Minister of Australia (1972 - 1975)
*** A symbolic gesture giving the Aboriginal people "back" their land
and the start of the modern "land rights" movement
**** I wish to acknowledge, and pay my respects, to the traditional custodians, of this land, the Aboriginals. I also pay my respects, to Aboriginal Elders, past, present, and emerging.

oh you of shiftless dysmorphic eyes
gazing as though through the wise
I wonder how your body flies
when she is to you unseen
there is no use to he who tries
the unmajestic, unclean queen
although your spirit may soar
to long ago dismembered shore
can it be that it is more
than a silver violet’s
soul for it appears that yours
is lesser and quiet
you may share a shared love
but it is not yours from above
to sing as some listless dove
about your other soul
better rest and give to the cove-
n of witches that stole
smile and be brave young man
wish that you are never a’land
the stricken shore of what you don’t understand
to save your life
if you give away your hand
you give away your wife

Seeking truth
Leaving pain
So I will not
Go insane
Let me find
Life's true goal
So I may rest
My weary soul
God has shown
Me a way
Now give me strenght
So I won't stray
From his plan
For he knows
When he talks
My faith grows
So I grow
Oh my Lord
In my faith
And cut the cord
From my sin
God I am sure
With your help
I'll be pure

In the case of the two cases which are one
And the guy who stumbled into a karaoke room
Just one look and he was blind and it took a long time
For him to see
And so now a very late apology
Closing this case to be the last time
He writes of lady case also known as the girl of never be
In the case of the two cases I wish you well ever more
And as I bid you both adieu it appears I have finally found the door

The easiest apologies
are not hard to make
I know my inequities
I'm flawed for God's sake
I know I was wrong
I ask your forgiveness
Do you need a song
A sworn-in eye witness?
I'll sing it, I'll find them
Just give me a minute
This pill ain't hard to swallow
because my heart's in it
If I thought I was right
do you think I'd give a sh*t?
You're stuck in your feelings
and I can respect that
But do you really have to beat
my head in with a bat?
This hyper-sensitive emotional
guilt trip you take by yourself
'cause for me the issue
is on a high shelf
tucked away, I've let go
and I'm okay with me
If you don't want to hold onto this
Stop trippin', honey, I'm sorry

A part of life we all must do, the one thing that will stay true. It hurts loved ones and makes them blue; but as we live, cannot undo! It makes complete the life we chose; yet gives us hope we should not lose. The joy we share and sorrow we see; gives note to all that this must be. We no not when this will take place; so live life at our own pace! Indeed, we know that this is true; we live our lives—but must die too! I cannot explain why this must be; yet see that death does set us free. I give a gift in this belief, and write these words to ease your grief. I’m sorry that I must complete; that part of life we cannot beat. All my love; to all that’s dear—within your heart I will be near!

About this poem:
Choices made we must endure; our lives will change, yes that is for sure. Although we feel that all is good, we must look back at where we stood. Decisions made that were not so kind, give trouble now within our mind. We dream of happy and content; yet face each day with much decent. The woes of life we could not see; so seek forgiveness, let it be! We fill our hearts with all that is true; try not to think what has made us blue. We must reflect on good and bad; for this is what we all have had. Console ourselves as each day fades; and live with all our choices made! Life!!!

doesn't it seem plentiful
finding reasons
of being thankful
and all the trials
chaos and pain
are but my tools
to make me strong
resilient and able
so you left earlier
than I would have thought
but that is alright
I figured,
it was destined and meant
that I'd be in better hands
as, you would, too
if we parted sooner
than you and I anticipated
for somewhere, someone
out there
was achingly waiting
longing, for the both of us
to be apart and that....
is the reality of life
I just want you to know
I'm grateful and thankful for
the opportunity of knowing you
and partook in your love
and that love will live forever in my heart
whether you're with me physically or not
because
I will always love you.
as I've always had
when I said
the first time I let you
in my life, almost three years ago.
my heart, body and soul
will always belong to you
they never left you.

Riding through
tail winds
whipping my feet
rains no matter
blinding my eyes
hair stinging my back
but
I
rode on
no sense of cold
just
moving forward
Sunrise
beckons
away
a halt
to see
deep sadness
creeping
release
I am not far
stringing streams
winding minds
moving future
caressing past
spitting out
the last

I was 19 and in the prime of my young life
I was lookin4 you one day to be my wife
You were a Sth Efrican spunkybum
And sure i was liked by your mum
We worked together then moved in together
We thought that we were in love
I was only 19
I played football with the men
And hung out with mates back then
I gave that up to be with you
Coz remember that day
When you said .. i love you
Anyway .. to cut a long poem short...
We woke up one morning
You said you were crook
I felt like sh*t coz not by your look
I felt so bad that you were sad
So i went off to work
To earn some money so both to be glad
All day at work i thought of you
And all i could think of was you
I called you on the phone during the day
You answerd and said gidday
I asked if you were ok
You said i'm fine and enjoy your day
I was sad that you were crook
And could'nt wait to get home for a look
The siren for knock off time went
I was only 19
But was the longest day of my life
Anyway
I jumped into my car
And could'nt wait to see you
I stopped off and bought you some flowers
Coz since i saw you last
It was hours
Anyway yada yada yada ...
When i drove up to our place
Your dad was out front with a mean face
There was a small truck with in it your belongings
And i thought WTF???
As he was bigger than me
He would'nt let me near thee
Until this day 20/6/16
I still don't know why and now i'm 53
ps, i'm so sorry ... i was only 19

Ten long years,
Since i knew where i wasn't.
Since the plan was foiled.
Since instance swallowed me.
I don't know where i am.
I live and fight every day,
to get back to, i dont know where.
Its not here.
Solitude at sea. I love the peace.
But the silence makes ears bleed.
Strife is sacred. Effort, it's brother.
