A tragic lesson I had to learn.
Battle after battle behind every turn.
Secrets kept inside.. Pain kept hidden.
You committed sins that for the Devil should be forbidden.
A blow to the head, a thought out decision.
Kept in mind that frightful vision.
I kept it as an option to escape from you.
Sometimes I came close to making that vision come true.
To be gone from this pain, never again suffering this abuse.
I might as well give up, staying strong is no longer of use.
Painful memories Ill never forget.
Bury them inside and let them sit.
Crying, falling from every hit.
Every time you threw your fit.
Those are the memories Ill never admit,
Hurtful to know this is how it does, but every heart ache will eventually mend.
Mine will too but first you have to go.
I'm forgetting this person I never really got to know.
It's over now, you'll never hurt me again.
It's my turn now and in the end I w in.

Liquid flowing from the pond trickling down a stream
Little guppies struggling to stay where they've always been.
Currents tell of a journey more important than the end or the start,
Each ripple corresponding to the beats of my heart.
Water moving forth in the form of crests,
The sweet sound of splashes will soothe my soul at best.
A glossy mirror; a vortex to a world of another kind -
Memories ebbing into a criss-cross of forever within my mind.

Two –Time Looser
Last night at eight o’clock you’ll walk out of our door
You looked handsome in your new cowboy clothes
Fancy white shirt tight fitting jeans
Sexiest looking cowboy that I have ever seen
Your smile can charm the lady‘s and sweep them off their feet.
But you’re a two-time looser a liar and a cheat
And somewhere down the road you’ll end up in the street
Counting all your pennies and no where to sleep
I’ve seen you in the bar room drinking rye and coke.
I’ve seen you with your lady friend she really is a joke
I’ve seen you on the dance floor you sure know all the moves
To keep that lady’s happy as your drinking all their booze
Your smile can charm the lady’s and sweeps them off their feet
But you’re a two-time looser a liar and a cheat
And somewhere down the road you’ll end up on the street
Counting all your pennies and no where to sleep

DREAMS
There’s an angel standing guard while she is sleeping
He’ll protect her till the morning sunshine’s
He sits by her bedside and watches
As she relives the memories of time
Remember the time when you held her
On the day God called you away
You said you were going to heaven
You knew you just couldn’t stay
Her tears you knew she was hiding
So her heart wouldn’t show any pain
If only you where here to hold her
She’d tell you all of her dreams
You taught her to love all Gods creatures
You taught her her prayers at bedtime
You taught her to love one another
Now teach her that life must go on
You bought her a gold chain and locket
I remember the words that you said
If ever she was lonely and needed
To see your face once again
Just open the little gold locket
And remember the love that’s inside
It’s not the little gold locket
That she holds so dear to her heart
It’s the memories you placed inside it
That she’ll treasure all the days of her life
Someday you will meet in God’s heaven
I know you’ll be waiting for her
So stay by her bedside and watch her
Protect her till the morning sunshine’s
You can dream all your dreams together
Let her dream of all her good times

BED TIME PRAYER
A little girl is kneeling beside her mommy’s bed
Her daddy stands and watches and than he bows his head
He wraps his arms around her as the tears they start to flow
For her mommy went to heaven just a little while ago
Now she’s talking to her mommy she thinks that she can see
If there’s a God in heaven oh please let it be
I can see you mommy I can see you now
Mommy you’re so pretty are you wings made out of gold?
I can see your halo it’s shining oh so bright
Mommy was it Jesus that held my hand last night
Are you one of God’s angels does daddy know your there?
If you’ll come home now mommy I’ll say my bed time prayers

When we first talked to each other
I knew we would always be friends.
Our friendship has kept on growing
And I'll be here for you to the end.
You listen when I have a problem
And help dry the tears from my face.
You take away my sorrow
And put happiness in its place.
I can't forget the fun we've had
Laughing 'til our faces turn blue.
Talking of things only we find funny
People think we're mad -If they only knew!
I guess this is my way of saying thanks
For catching me when I fall.
My Connecting Singles cyber friends
And being here with me through it all.

i saw you. . . . I paused as my feet stilled, I had to catch up to my thoughts, I'd look away n back again, seemed we were motionless, pasted to timeless thought, I saw an innocence in your smile, candle of life in your eyes, honey laden skin on your face, a host of light embraced your presence, she's beautiful inside an out, you hadn't noticed how you captured my thoughts an stilled my feet the first time I saw you ~ Bentlee

Moonglow Beach
She is beautiful lying naked in crumpled sheet's
I’m in synch with her heartbeat as she whispers in her sleep
I wish I could live within her dream's
I'd always be there when she needs a soothing hand or gentle sqeeze
One last kiss before I drift away
The taste of her lips so sweet follows me into the deep
I am just a savage beast but She's a goddess on Moonglow Beach
Beneath amber skys of destiny
The sun is Sinking into the sea pointing fingers accusingly
I yearn for her like the moon yearns for the waves
We make love upon the beach under stars just out of reach
Our rythem's match the ocean's gentle sway
OH, How It longs to rest upon the bay where dolphins come to dance and play
Lost in time, Beyond all reach, on the shore's of Moonglow Beach
Is this all some mad god's scheme
Are we all just wants and need's, all of us just thoughts and dreams
And If it all hangs by a fraying strand
Will we fall hand in hand and have the strength to rise again
For this is all I pray
Let her allway's be my friend, even when the world end's
Bridge
Nothing lasts but earth and sky where angels dance and devils cry
So Let's dance untill the final song, we're here today but not for long
I'll meet her where It all Began, I'll find my way too her again
We'll go back and never leave, back to those shore's of Moonglow beach
Lost in time, beyond all reach, on the shore's of Moonglow Beach
repeat fade

(Love is) A Sad, Sad Song
I play my song's with broken chord's
In haunted halls of humbled lord's
I try to conjure music that moved you before
You and I were thick as thieve's
Thier court we held but would not heed
Now our happiness fade's with the leaves
Pre-chorus
We use to be people who sang along
When the days were short and life was long
They can still make heart's break, These simple song's
Chorus
Such a sad song
Love is a sad, sad song
Such a sad song
Love is a sad, sad song
My deamon inside must have spoke to
Sweet angel that lay beyond the blue
Your eyes were a trap I fell into
In my tower, on I rave
Of the heart I stole, and the one I freely gave
Of the friendship lost, The love I could not save
Chorus
In these hall's my chord's ring true
With passion that tore us into
I still yearn to play these song's for you
Chorus
