God Likes to Paint

God likes to paint, you can see His creations every day,
The sunrises in the morning and the sunsets too at night,
The white puffy clouds in the light blue sky,
The rainbow at the end of a storm showing everything is all right,

The beautiful hues of the fragrant flowers,
The different colors on the butterflies too,
The wonderful colors of bird feathers,
Can also be seen by me and by you

God paints the green of the grass,
The gold of the radiant sun,
God paints the colors of all animals,
He even camouflages some.

God loves to paint so many things,
The only thing we need to do is look,
He makes the world a better place for us,
He watches us too live our life's book,

Just take the time out of your busy day,
To enjoy the colors God creates,
They are always there and available,
To see them, it is never too late.

Whispering samd

WHISPERING SAND

Within the thousand winds that blow
Through out the distance Egypt land
Mysterious pyramids crumble
Beneath the desert sands
Kings and queen where laid to rest
In tombs make out of gold
In a ancient times when empires; ruled
And life it seemed so cruel
Warrior’s dressed in coat of arms
And swords made out of steel
Where wars where fought and victory’s won
Upon the bloody battle field’s
The mystery sun Gods of the universe
There wisdom words now lost
Within the crumbled pyramids
Hold there mystical secrets from the past

The Children of the Night

THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT
Say no to drugs
If the lord came down from heaven to see what he could see
He’d take a look around impressed he would not be
He’d see the city lights all shining all so bright
Yet know the terror that does lye deep within the night
Some children he’ll see crying for no future do they see
For some will steal and some will lie and some will run away
Those who run will fall pray to the stranger in the night

And if the stranger finds them you’ll lose them on this night
The stranger walks in shadows and stalks them late at night
The nights are long the winds blow cold the warmth they long to feel
The sharpness of the needles they do not even feel
And deep within their veins the drugs begin flow
Taking them to a place a child should never go

For if the drug takes them then their fears will be no more
And the love that they had longed for will have no value anymore
You’ll loose them to the stranger; they’ll die with in the streets
Your hearts will than be broken, but the stranger he wont weep
You say that you do love them then do what you know is right
Find your child that roams the street and take them home tonight

They were born of love not hate, so show them that you care
Open up your hearts and save the children from despair
Stop the anger and the fight and let the love begin
Open up your arms real wide and let your child walk in

Compulsion (on writing poetry)

Compulsion

If a person is not engrossed by poetry and has not written
they cannot comprehend those of us who are so smitten.
Who, in compulsion, regardless of season or time of day
must write in our peculiar style, to say what we must say.
They cannot understand that all poets are second sighted
that in daylight or darkness perception spawns, uninvited.
From sobering thoughts left from the wine the day before
come devils and demons to create a new epoch in folklore.
How in far off ancient times from a simple lead pencil stem
came magical words of the possessed souls who wrote them!

Now, with modern time’s new fangled electronic contraption
enveloping my head, I compose aloud feeding my compulsion.
What fame might come my way is bestowed in my provenance
where my secret soul’s creations are endowed by providence.
If destiny were to befriend me and publish my humble name
today, lest the reaper comes, to present a new bard to fame.
It will be with a heartfelt pride that this poetic bosom swells
then, I vow, I will give my best until each word I write excels.
But if that fame sidesteps my work and I am dead tomorrow
I bequeath my simple words with my infamy, and my sorrow!

What the blind can see

What the Blind can see

As we cry out in the night will one person hear?
Will one person see that we have no fears?
The color of ones skin isn’t important to us
For the blind know no color yet the world we can see
We can smell the fresh air on a cold winter day
Hear the laughter of the voices of our loved ones so dear
We can feel the soft petals of the flowers we grow
We can hear the birds singing and the wind that blows
We hear the drums beat in the distance we hear what they say
The great spirits are with us they will guide us each day
As we walk the path in darkness im glad that I am free
For the blind know no color because we can’t see
When people ask don’t you wish this world you could see?
My reply has and will always be No thank you
For this world full of color prejudice I don’t want to see
Now Close your eyes and enter my world
Isn’t it amazing why colors don’t matter to me

Gods Country ( Canada )

Gods Country
As the brisk winds blow across the frozen tundra
The Eskimo’s crack their whips
As they mush their dog teams on
Fighting the wind’s and the bitter cold
In this land they call there own
In the distance they will hear the Barron wolves howl
As they follow a caribou herd
They will travel for miles in search of food
For their hunger it drives them on
The caribou herd is now on the run
And the pounding of their hoofs can be heard
The hunter’s they wait for once their in sight
They know that a kill will be made
As a silver fox races over the hard packed snow
In pursuit of a artic hare
All hearts now pounding
The hunter and the hunted alike
For all must survive in their own unique way
In this vast and desolate land
As the polar bear watches with his icy stares
He can make you’re blood run cold
For he roams this land of ice and snow
And fears not even man
As the cold winds blow the sifting snow
The night become deadly cold
And the sounds in the night
Will send chills to the depth of your soul
Yet to see the sight of the northern lights
As they rip the heavens wide
Or the star filled skies on a moonlight night
Or the glitter on the fresh fallen snow
It’s the place to see its God’s country
In the land of the midnight sun

With in the Shadows

With in the Shadows

Why must thou go into the valley of the dead?
Among the dark shadows that linger
With in the cold mist
Searching franticly for the unforeseen
Within the ocean depth
Not knowing what may lie beneath
Lost in the dust
We are travelers of time
The mystery’s of the phantoms
Rise from there watery graves
As the fog lingers over them
To keep their secrets forever hidden
On the cruel and hostile shores of life

My Last Will and Testament

My last will and Testament

I leave to my children not money or material things
But Love, Honor, Trust, and Respect, and Pride
For these are the true values in life
May they always trust in the Lord?
And each day they awaken to a new dawn
They give thanks for all that they have received
May they always respect mother earth for all she
Has provide for them
May there hearts be filled with love for each other
These are my most valuable things in life
I now leave these things in there hands to pass on
To the next generation with love
From
YOU’RE MOTHER

Understanding man

Understanding man

I came to earth on a mission to observe man kind
To see to know to understand
My journey soon shall come to an end
I will exit through the gate to the unknown
Drift through the universe observing new planets
Forever seeking the answers
That has baffled man since the beginning of time
The purpose of man on earth
