Grave is our destiny

the grave is our destiny
where none whatsoever can be changed
it's a wholesome place all to yourself
and nothing accompanying you but the wind

you hear nothing, not even their tears
that builds up from rivers to oceans
if only it was said before your destiny
perhaps it'd have made a difference

now you're all alone sad and forlorn
a world only you can dwell
but I know deep in my heart
everything you've had is remembered well

oh rest my love, soon I'll be there
where fate crossed not in this life
but somewhere love knows no bounds
and our love once more entwined

Goodbye Rose

I'm waiting on the rain to cool things down
I'm waiting on the bus to come to town
Just one bag will hold all my clothes
Where I'll be this time tomorrow heaven knows

Time for me to leave even though I'm nowhere bound
Sometimes love doesn't happen and that's the way it goes
I'm waiting on the rain and the bus to come to town
Goodbye rose

Don't feel bad for me I understand
I've been through enough pain that I became a man
I've had some highs and a lot of lows
Here comes the rain and the bus goodbye rose

TWO

HOW CAN ONE LOVE TWO. WHEN ONE FIRST LOVES ONE THEY WOULD NEVER GIVE IT THIER ALL, CAUSE THEY WOULDN'T HAVE NEVER MET TWO. WHILE HAVING TWO HOW DO YOU CHOOSE TO SPLIT THE TIME. WAS IT STRAIGHT DOWN THE LINE. IT COULD NEVER BE, FOR ONE OF THE TWO WOULD DEFINITELY BE DENIED. NO EQUAL LOVE WILL BE GIVEN. THE TWO ARE FIGHTING FOR THE TIME. HOLIDAY'S & SICK DAYS PONDERING WHO GETS THE TIME. FOR HAVE TWO IS A TOTAL WASTE OF ONES TIME.

DON'T

IF I KEEP MY THOUGHTS TO MYSELF, IT'S OK IT'S JUST ME.
IF I DON'T SMILE WHEN YOU LOOK AT ME, IT'S OK I STILL LIKE YOU.
IF I DON'T ANSWER WHEN YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME, ITS OK I LOVE YOU TOO.
IF YOU TRY TO HOLD MY HAND, I MOVE PAST IT, IT'S OK I LOVE THE GUESTURE, PLEASE DON'T STOP.
IF YOU EVER STOP DOING THESE THINGS, IT'S OK.
I KNEW IT WOULD NEVER LAST.

Times aren’t so good

you hung up the phone
tears streamed down your face
You relayed the news
I already knew
The cancer had spread
Not much to be said
The cold rain
It falls like tears down on my heart
In private I cry until the tears run dry
My big brother-you will always be
You ask who will be there for you
I will
Who will hold your hand
I will
Who will help you
I will
Nothing will ever change the love I have for you
I stand with you
I stand by you
I stand beside you
I feel your pain
as if it were my own

Loves last moment

Eyes swelling
becoming tearful
spilling over
tear drops fall.

Words failing
lips open
unable to speak
emotions choking.

Hands tremble
fingers entwined
clenching the hand
that clings to mine.

Door open
light has entered
darkness closing
hold me I'm scared.

Angels calling
last breath I cry
door closing
I whisper goodbye.

Who am I?

I’m A Sister
A Daughter
A Slave
An Heiress
A Priestess
A Follower
A Fool.

Yes, A Saint
A Servant
A Steward
A Helper
A Teacher
A Leader
A Tool.

I am all these, and more,
Thanks to my Saviour.
So tell me now...
WHO ARE YOU?

About this poem:
We are often asked to define ourselves; it isn't always easy to do, but God's Word could help us with that. ;-)

Mathematics

Forced to study
Mathematics
I forced myself

To force that force
Of useless poetry
From my mind

The Beauty
Highest
Escalon the

Power
Of
Elegance in Her
Majesty

The paradoxical
And insoluble
Nature of her Voids
Has left me broken

Yet the finesse
Of her axiomatic
Logic is still
Beautiful

I stared too long
And hard
Into that
Abyss

And I am broken
And yet remade
By the Logic
Of the Great Men

Now I sometimes
Read her again
And find that
I still love her

Untitled

I scream in silence
Tattooed in the wisp of Survival
I see your betrayal as a sin
As I fight for your misplaced love

You have left me with this crimson anger
Falling from my eyes, weeping from my flesh

I look in the mirror your face replacing mine

I drive this fortress of a heart
Deeper in the safe haven of lust
I welcome your punishment, like a condescending judgement

Your the ghost of delivered nightmares
That hounds me through my veins
I can never be protected from the
Worldly you.

Truthfully life with no vision!

To learn, to know, to be, to grow, and all the could be’s, and
All the should be’s lost in ignorance, a waste of space and a
Waste of time, a waste of life no reason no rhyme,
At sixteen, just a teen, at twenty one, more to be seen,
At thirty one friends have come and gone, no lesson learned,
Not yet, still stubbornly bold, cannot be told, but there’s time
To be, and time to see, and forty one, same old song, hope there’s
Future not the final gong, so, fifty one passes by, at sixty one, over
And done, too late to be, to late to see, forever destined never to
Be free, you’ve lived a life of stupidity, now you’re wealthy and strong
So many things you think you have, so much riches you think you
Own, until you lie dead cold as stone!
