Upon wings of a little feathered Ren
A song I hope you hear I send
As my journey nears its end
As I wander many paths the forest here
I hear young maidens sing rivers of their tears
So sweet so sad the voices that drift upon my ears
Still that song the little Ren sings
The song set upon his wings
To find the one that dreams

The rains came
As so often they do
Filled with heavy monotony
Landing where your footsteps
Had gently crushed the grass
You are no longer with us
But the paths you trod
On your life’s journey
Still remain
Always reminding us
That once you was here
Our emotions lie
As crushed as the grass
But that will find re-growth
And eventually
Cover the history
That you left behind
We have done our weeping
It did not fall
Like the monotony of the rain
It was as gentle as you
All you had to give was love
And it came in abundance
In all of our minds
Now your memory fades
As if blown like dust
In a howling wind
To settle elsewhere
And the rains came again
Once more in that monotony
Of abundance
Yet your photo
Which could not
Be dimmed
Will remain
To us
Perfectly clear

Crow black above the green;
________along the fence they wait
________as forty feathered legions
wait as snipers wait;
_____________in the farthest fields
_____________lie in want of spoils
for as the farmer tills;
______________so the miller mills
______________so the hunter kills
Crow black above the green;
____________thus beneath the sun

Blacks are THE racist of hater's
elders groom Next Gen race baiter's
Failing historic cities oppressed blacks' "lead"
DC Mayor Bowers a joke indeed
Referring to Caucasians as 'Cracker's' OK
victim Mayor Adams 'rolls that way'
Black and White comprehension not alike
others rightly communicate more civil like
Blacks don't accidently mock or incite
Stacey's leaked maskless photos utter spite
Imbecile Rep. Waters proposes racial strife
obvious who ensures chaos remains rife
Injecting 'Race card' majority justly detest
aim disrupting quality life for rest
could being born black explain rebellion
skin pigmentation doesn't define a hellion
Human Constitution 'live and let live'
to that pledge the civilized give
Equality irrelevant when it's who's killing
savages must cease innocent blood spilling

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.” (1John 4: 18)
He said he loved me
And I thought I knew
What that really meant between us two.
And, at first, I tried
To make it true
By doing what I thought I knew
Was what he expected me to.
But alas, it all became
Such a strain to do and be what he wanted of me
And still I tried.
Unsatisfied.
He said He loved me
And though I didn’t truly know
I believed that He meant what He said.
I was delivered
By the Love He gave
To me, set free to do and be
What He willed of me.
And though His expectations of me
Are high, the strain is not the same.
He said He loved me
And, this time, I know it’s true.

About this poem:
The poem tells about the delusion of love versus the reality of love. It gives two scenarios - one in which love was heard as being present, and another in which love was actually felt.

The arctic tern wheels the sky;
All the lonely Summer through;
Sailing on the sleety wind;-
And most accurate his view.
In fields of desolation;
Of white and polar caps,
Seals lie lazy on the rocks,
And whales beneath, perhaps.
Though lonely is the tern;
The world grows ever warmer,
As meridians he turns,
Habitat grows ever smaller.
Yes, lonely is the tern;
Skwarking cranneries on cliffs,
Cruising on the eddies;
Thermals now the tern uplifts.
Looking at the wide blue ocean;
And with that bird's eye view,
He cares not for Man's commotion;
Just his ever-clear purview.
Alas! the graceful tern;
Who lives upon the wing;
Would wish for her return;
To write just one more thing.
Before the tern must face his long migration;-
To Southern parts across an endless sea;-
So she flies in my imagination;-
Safe travels;- seagull - wherever you may be.

I can't travel to a far away land
But I can do online shopping once a week
I'll never get a chance to sing with a country band
Nashville will never call me to come and live on easy street
I can't go out on a date with a rich woman if you know what I mean
So I stay home instead
They say you're never to old to dream
But I dream alone in my bed
Early morning bring the sunlight through my window on my favorite spot
I'll be in my chair waiting to take a drink of coffee for it will still be too hot
And then the only thing I will think of that would be kind of neat
I can do online shopping once a week

No lavish gifts have I today,
To try and coax your heart to sway,
No chocolate treats, or blood red rose,
No gentle kiss to curl your toes,
But I thought of you and penned a poem,
With dreams of you my mind is blown,
It's just for you Dear Valentine,
To warm your day, as you warm mine,
And if it brings just a tiny smile,
The gesture will be so worthwhile,
Fond words today to you I send,
I simply can’t control this pen,
Take heed of what my poem imparts,
And join me in a clash of hearts,
For you one heart is not enough,
A dozen hearts too few,
And if I had two armfuls of hearts,
I would hand them all to you !

About this poem:
Years ago, before social media we would write Valentine cards covered with love rhymes .... then send them in the post to the ones that made our hearts flutter.
So innocent but very magical times.

A bear walked into a bar and said can I have a cola and a…..........whisky
The bar tender says "What's with the big paws?"
A man walks into a bar and sees a bear serving drinks… Sits down looking astonished. The bear says “What’s the matter, you never saw a bear serving drinks? “ The man says “It’s not that, I just never thought the moose would sell the place.”

Alone on a night made for love
You’d think that I might want to cry
But I sit here happy in thought
Heart soaring, I just want to fly
Tonight I have love for myself
No catering to another’s needs
True to my heart’s desires
Nothing to make it bleed
Nobody here to break my heart
A glass of wine in my hand
I toast to a beautiful evening
One without a man
This might make you feel lonely
But happy and brave is my call
I’ve learned to love myself
And that’s the best love of all
My blessings to all those in love
As romance is beautiful too
Just remember to love yourself
And to your heart be true
