You won't even cross my mind

Been thinking about you everyday
been thinking about you every night
finally come to the conclusion
I don't even cross your mind
I know that ain't no story
I know that ain't no lie
finally see in the confusion
some hearts just don't cry

I'll get over you
I know I will in time
When I get over you
you won't even cross
my mind

Tried to make you happy
tried to make you laugh
finally see the illusion
you won't break me in half
tried to give you my heart
tried to give you my soul
finally see there's no fusion
just wanted you to know

I'll get over you
I know I will in time
When I get over you
you won't even cross
my mind

Your Back Door

Knocking on your back door,
The one you've waited for.
The man who'll come and stay,
And love you in this way.

I am the one indeed,
To satisfy this need.
While some may call it sin,
This is a place I've been.

Though sun may never shine,
I'll worship at this shrine.
Until you come with me,
Through where no one can see.

A daring journey, true,
But one I'll share with you,
To find out what's in store,
Inside of your back door.

Natalie

The third child born, the only girl,
A precious little thing.
And when she smiled the room lit up,
And caused the world to sing.

At two years old she'd just begun,
To run and feed herself.
Already curious about the books,
That sat upon my shelf.

Then tragedy unspeakable,
While fighting off the flu,
Immune system went haywire,
Her brainstem ravaged through.

She had to learn to walk and talk,
And use her hands again,
But doggedly she tried and tried,
I worried so back then.

Some gave up but not this one,
The bravest little girl.
She worked so hard and never quit,
To make it in this world.

Til finally she had come back,
Except one dragging foot.
The one worked fine but hard it was,
The other one to put.

She'd point down to her legs and scold,
The one that gave her trouble.
"Good foot, bad foot," she would say while,
Pointing one to other.

Then one day through my front door,
She walked so straight and tall.
And marched herself right up to me,
Without a limp at all.

Where I sat there upon the floor,
She shoved "bad foot" at me,
And wriggled it up in my face,
She grinned, said, "Pawpee, see?"

I cried then, and I'm crying now,
The tears of joy I shed.
For my precious little girl.
And those brave words she said.

From a Conversation With a Stranger On a Plane

High school sweethearts, from Sweden they'd gone.
He moved to New York, she came later on.
They moved to L. A. and built life for two.
When they reached the age, retired near you.

No children they had, but a dog instead.
And after some years, knew he'd soon be dead.
They couldn't leave him home alone, and so,
On seperate vacations, they had to go.

For the first time, since crossing the pond,
They traveled alone, though still had their bond.
He didn't say, just where she had went,
But for the first time, he'd sleep in a tent.

And so for a week, he'd hike and he'd camp.
No worries, two guides would be leading the tramp.
Expensive it was, but well worth the price,
This wasn't a thing he'd be doing twice.

My Lovely Friend

A woman that I met on here's,
Become so very dear,
And though she lives so far away,
Sometimes feels like she's near.

She's working on her future,
While working out her past.
I really do admire how,
She shapes her lot to cast.

We email, chat and telephone,
It's comfort for our souls.
We help each other through the days,
While working towards our goals.

Whenever I am feeling down,
She gives me some good cheer,
It lifts me up in spirit so,
Her kindnesses to hear.

I try my best to give in turn,
Her fears and woes to mend.
And so today I had to say,
Here's to my lovely friend!

Slaying Dragons

A damsel in distress is just,
A female friend in need.
I shouldn't but I felt I must,
Mount up my trusty steed.

I'd only met her once before,
We'd chatted and we'd talked.
Of course I wanted something more,
But that move had been balked.

Seems she'd been in an accident,
Her foot needed repair,
So to the hospital she went,
To seek a surgeon's care.

The scalpel and the needles too,
Had left her in such pain.
That it would be a month or two,
Ere she could walk again.

Her roommate and her teenaged son,
Had been no help at all.
Clean dishes they had left her none,
Cat litter in the hall.

So armed with lunch for two I went,
To lend a helping hand.
Don't mind the hours that I spent,
They're merely grains of sand.

With dishes done I warmed our meal,
We ate it, ev'ry bite.
She said my cooking was ideal,
My pride was shining bright.

The hallway too, we tackled then,
It was an awful mess.
I didn't mind, I'd do again,
To help to ease her stress.

I'm hoping her recovery,
Will be complete and swift.
She said next time she'll come to me,
That gave me quite a lift.

So now I wait for her to call,
To say she's coming here.
I'm hoping in my bed she'll fall,
A thought I hold so dear.

My rusting armor has its flaws,
My motives so impure.
That gratitude may give her cause,
My lonliness to cure.

Do You Think Of Me....

Do you think of me often, as your going thru your day,
What you want to say to me, feelings you want to convey,
Do you think of our bodies touching, my hand as it touches your face,
Exploring each other completely, in our own time and space,
Do you think of our next encounter and what you would like to do,
When we have time to spend together; making our fantasies come true,
Do you think it will last forever, or maybe just for a while,
It really doesn’t matter, because right now it makes me smile……
When I think of you

About this poem:
I wrote this poem for someone I had been seeing for 3 months. I wasn't sure what direction the relationship was going in and I just wanted him to know that if it lasted for awhile or forever, it made me smile when I thought of him and wondered if he felt the same way.

Ever Memorable Star !

the finale curtain is done,
and star is behind the screen now
he is singing a ever memorable song
which we cannot hear and see him
but he is still in his work
with a motive to make it perfect
tears in our eyes with endless love in mind
nobody can share it
and there is no one like him.
and i dedicated these lines to my
favourite; michale jackson.

a profile is nothing..

she wants my profile
just to calculate my value of mind ,
which reveals love and honest.
nothing to hide and nothing to add later.
she is online and waiting for it.
i failed to fill the coloumns.
but , i tried to write something
and filled blanks with words like these;
everything is in my mind, it can show all.
i wish to open it, to get love and care from you.
but it coverd with trust and belief.
so i couldnt breake my beliefs and trust..
sometimes we never think twice..!

"Porque Eu Sei Que É Amor"

Porque eu sei que é amor
Eu não peço nada em troca
Porque eu sei que é amor
Eu não peço nenhuma prova

Mesmo que você não esteja aqui
O amor está aqui
Agora
Mesmo que você tenha que partir
O amor não há de ir
Embora

Eu sei que é pra sempre
Enquanto durar
E eu peço somente
O que eu puder dar

Porque eu sei que é amor
Sei que cada palavra importa
Porque eu sei que é amor
Sei que só há uma resposta

Mesmo sem porquê eu te trago aqui
O amor está aqui
Comigo
Mesmo sem porquê eu te levo assim
O amor está em mim
Mais vivo

Porque eu sei que é amor
