Song For You

A gale is raging.
Raindrops thrash
our blue-black
windowpanes.

Don't fear, love:
soon morning will
come like a flower
with petals of light.

What if

I had learned to fly
I could touch the sky
he never made you cry
I never had to try
we would never die
we didnt have that fight
we could forget that night
everything would be made right
you understood my plight
we could survive this blight
I were holding you tight
end were in sight
I loved you with all my might
we became one
forever we would run
we pulled a Lone Ranger: rode off into the sun
never had all that fun
you never knew me
your heart never knew glee
I were flattened by a tree
you or I weren't born free
i were 6 and u were 3
we were all we had in this life
you became my loving wife
I cut myself with a knife
Mein Kampf meant "My Strife"
people didn't care what I had to say
they found a better way
they stopped gossiping about me during the day
it were back and white, not shades of grey
my name were Ray
I could take it all back
I had skills on the track
my heart weren't so black
I could fend off this attack
I really gave a crap

I died tomorrow? What then?

??

About this poem:
Many possibilities, same question stem: what if.
Believe it or not, it's a love poem. Not much of one, but it was written in that mindset.

Clouds and Waves

When I saw the clouds in blue sky
Rolling direction in the morning breeze
My heart is always asking
Where they then go later
When I looked at the waves in the blue sky
Nonstop romp over time
What they're looking for
Arriving on the beach sand

Once the existence of me and you
Along with mixing romance
There are always asked
Will all her beautiful ending

You're like the clouds in the blue sky
I like racing in the ocean waves
That seems to chime
At dusk horizon

In fact the present inquiry the existence of
The distance between us is too mean
You soar over there
And I expect you here

Missing You

You have the sweetest smile and you have the warmest heart and I really miss your laughter whenever we're apart,
Your photograph reminds me of the days when you are near, but it can never hold me close and kiss away each tear,
And when at night the moon is bright, I long to share it's veiw
For I know deep down within my heart that moon is shining down on you

Untitled

Got this never ending feeling
Following me down every road i take
Burning sun on my back
Coming out in a cold sweat
It leaves a bitter sweet taste on my tongue
Got my finger wrapped around the trigger of a loaded gun

Wrap me up in cotton wool
Hold me in your arms till i go numb
Tired of feeling like my only friend
Tired of feeling like this is the end

I've this never ending feeling
Left for dirt and i cant stop bleeding
My blue sky has turned to red
And pretty soon i'd better off dead
It leaves me high it leaves me needing
Is all this real or am i just dreaming

Wrap me up in cotton wool
Hold me in your arms till i go numb
Tired of feeling like my only friend
Tired of feeling like this is the end

"Riding high"

itchy gitchy goomy
the new car was quite roomy
had bucket seats and a shifter of chrome
electric window and leather that smelled of loam

a cheerleaders changing booth
a cooler full of gin and vermouth
ashtrays full of trojans and cigarette butts
very fast...sit down, shut up and lean back, with a firm hold on the nuts

a pontiac bonneville with a top that was convertible
no seat belts, the slightest crash would have surely killed us all
but gas was cheap and the girls were adorable
in those days even the best of car was easily affordable

Indifference

Words I drop onto the ground
do crack my soul but make no sound.

Tears I spill on placid lake
yet not a ripple, wave, or wake.

Sigh from heart felt fondness grows
that not the lightest feather blows.

About this poem:
Nearly all of the poems I have written are the product of inspiration. Most often from someone I loved or love's demise. Usually conceived in the dim light of depression on a napkin. This one's origin is obvious and is one of my first of my first love. I am however not a purveyor of unhappiness and have a few that are descriptive in nature, whimsical at a time, and compassionate at another.

Death By Homicide

The terror is immense
My heart's beating intense
I never did anything this harsh
It doesn't make any sense
My life keeps on flashing
My lungs keep on gasping
I want to take action
but my feet make no traction
My hands and arms still
Only pain can I feel
The strain is too shrill
I know my wounds never heal
Jami how could you do this
All I gave you was love
Called you my Bambi
And my wonderful Dove
And you repay with this
a dagger of defeat
Your love for means
I have to lie down six feet?
I never felt more betrayed
Why didn't you say your heart strayed
I would gladly let you be happy
but now my love stays in vain.......this is DEATH BY HOMICIDE

"Desire"

Your desires
engraved in the look
your face,
eye flame.
I do not run away
against the pupil heat
burning skin.
I serve raspberry breasts
swollen with longing
you rock the depth of your hand
mouth by touch
asking for more.
You intertwine the bindweed legs
dewy bodies
you're drowning in relief of blue eyes
