Magic!

A little bit of magic,
Coming from within,
You see it in a twinkle,
A wicked little grin.

The drab and witless masses,
Life sentences, so grim.
Drag themselves from day to day,
No vigor and no vim.

But living in the moment,
Makes life a thrilling ride.
Life begins anew with,
Each changing of the tide.

Don't let the daily grind you,
Down to a lifeless drone.
Just let your spirit lift you,
Your heart and flesh and bone.

When life is an adventure,
Each moment seems to spin.
You know who's in the moment,
The magic shows within.

LOVE

Love doesn’t need eyes
It’s only heart enough
Doesn’t need wealthy
What with authority
Love in your heart, will teach you sincerity

Love wouldn’t care less about
It’s enough the feel exist
Wouldn’t care with class
Or also with race
Love in your heart, will scrap disparity

Love is not a dream
It’s enough loving and affectionate
Without memory
Or hope
Love in your heart, will give a serenity

Perhaps you don’t realize,
This gift is beautiful

Get started to try to experience
Life will be wonderful

Election Day

I'm honest, loyal, brave and true.
My opponent is a crook.
I've never cheated, lied or stole,
That other guy wrote the book.

He dislikes babies, jobs and rights,
And supports the terrorists.
I heard when he was back in school,
That he was a communist.

He voted for higher taxes,
When he cared to vote at all.
While my record is perfect and,
I have answered ev'ry call.

Just remember when at the polls,
I'm the best and he's all bad.
'Cause my name is Dudley Do-Right
And yes, I approved this ad.

I Will Wait

He's getting his chance, I must wait.
He's failed before, I will just wait.
I do not wish, anything bad.
But still I say, his chance he had.

You loved him so, for oh so long,
He'd not commit, he did you wrong.
But still you give another chance.
This proves belief in true romance.

I am patient, I will just wait.
He'll show his stripe, I just must wait.
When time has come I know you'll see.
The one you want is only me.

When you're ready, here I will be.
Then you will know, your one is me.
But until then, here I will wait.
Waiting for you to glean our fate.

Blue Mountain

Climb high on Blue Mountain,
hug the dark rain clouds;
they too will burst into tears
that water concrete jungles
and wash traces of negro blood
from asphalt

Climb high on Blue Mountain
and bawl your green eyes red
Your womb is ancient, futile,
never to shed another,
another to choose this calamity

Climb high on Blue Mountain,
close to the heavens
but far away from creator
Where he is there’s jubilation
Cry tears red like Pharaoh’s plague,
and when you alight
retreat down your crooked way

What is it that jungle wished for, pounds of flesh?
Climb high on Blue Mountain
and look out
You cried you green eyes shut
but there are no changes;
you were void of vision
and concrete must be fed
with blood and tears
Climb high on Blue Mountain
and look at your creation

Sage Wisdom

An ancient, aging Chippewa,
Who's sage words were passed to me,
Did speak of knowledge, used for good.
With his wisdom I agree.

He said it is a sacred thing,
To use knowledge in this way,
And that is what true elders do.
His words are true, I must say.

But now that I an elder am,
Wonder if I'll stand the test,
And use what little I have learned,
Make this world come out its best.

Yes, I will try to do this thing.
Heading out, I set my jaw.
Out in the world, his words to bring,
That sagacious Chippewa.

"KNOWLEDGE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING, BUT THE USE OF KNOWLEDGE IN A GOOD WAY IS WHAT MAKES FOR WISDOM. LEARNING HOW TO USE KNOWLEDGE IN A SACRED MANNER, THAT'S WISDOM TO ME, AND TO ME, THAT'S WHAT A TRUE ELDER IS."

You are my Sunshine

My life has been an interesting tail
For I have travelled a winding trail
The road was full of winding wide and narrow turn
Each crossway presented something creative to learn
When in a relationship I was true
Mainly because truly I love you
socializing dancing talking following my dream
Lions and bears meeting socially by the stream
I yearn for you the time goes by
Wanting you beside me I cry
"The other night dear as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head and cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away."
I had some good times and some bad
Life has been kind happy and sad
When I am in love it seems to be true
There is positive thoughts whatever I do
Once I was in Tennessee with my dear
I like taking her out and having her near
I would introduce her to my friend
Not realizing this may be the end
"I was waltzing with my darlin' to the Tennessee Waltz
When an old friend I happenned to see
Introduced him to my loved one
And while they were dancing
My friend stole my sweet heart from me.
I remember the night and the Tennessee waltz
Now I know just how much I lost
Yes I lost my little darlin' the night they were playing
That beautiful Tennessee waltz"
The journey continues in a positive way
A new beginning an extraordinary Day
love is my passion that is what I yearn
Trying to forget my insecurities I turn
From Tennessee to Canada I am here
Caring passionate moments with you my Dear
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away"

When It Comes To This

Sitting outside, waiting on you
But you left me, without a clue
Everyday is the same routine
Thinking maybe, you'd come back to me

But when it comes to this
It's you I really miss
When it comes to this
I still remember the first kiss
When it comes to this

I got the call, later that night
Tears welled up, I tried not to cry
I'm grateful in life, for all that you did
But held my head in sorrow when they lowered the coffins lid

And when it comes to this
It's you I really miss
When it comes to this
I still remember the last kiss
When it comes to this

Out of a Cloud

Out of a cloud
dawn bore a white bird
sailing on the breath of day
before you spoke to me
or cared what I had to say.

High on a reverie
I saw the bird dive
into the airy spray,
blown off a cresting sea,
then dissolve in a yawning wave.

When will I see you again?
Where will you rise again?
A wing tip shines in the sun,
taking off alone on the wind.

Follow me, follow me, you say.
Come to me, come take my hand.
Surf rolls over the words
you speak in the sand.

O bird, when you fly,
bird, when you fly,
look at me standing here.
Remember me
when you soar the sea.
Could I fly,
should I fly,
I would try
for eternity.

You

The lyrics of a song...

All my time has gone
All my hope has gone
All my life I wondered who would come...

(Chorus - between each verse and alt at and)
You are my 'one'
You are the sun
You are the light that makes me see

You stepped in to my world
You changed the way I'm me
And now I find there's no more sun to see

(Chorus)

And now your silence kills
No more mental thrills
Just the chill of night without the sun

(Chorus)
(Inst)

You are my one
You are the sun
You are the only one for me....

...but now there's just me.
