CHANCE, SERENDIPITY, DESTINY OR FATE?

Seems like just yesterday, I wandered astray,
Caught in life's bittersweet journey, lost in disarray,
But lucks gentle hand intervened on a fateful day,
And there you were, my newfound heart's array.

In a crowded place, where strangers fill the air,
Your eyes thought they saw a spark so rare,
Senses heightened, the world faded away,
your words, to me spoke more than words should say.

With every exchange, a simple truth unfolded,
The immediate connection, relentlessly emboldened,
We're charting new territories, casting away doubt,
The undeniable pull, there's no turning back now.

Chance serendipity, destiny or fate
Our souls collided, time suspended in space,
A cosmic dance, an intoxicating trance,
Oh, that lucky meeting that bestowed our chance.

Together, we now dance on this tightrope of fate,
Bathed in the glow of love, forever we'll vibrate,
Oh, lingering serendipity, our hearts forever entwined,
Maybe testament to the beauty that destiny designed.

LIFE MOVES

Life moves at a faster pace,
In these days of violence;
So many with anger face,
A mind in raging silence.

But you can have a change
By taking a peaceful break.
Let your mind move upwards,
To God who can give escape!

He is rich in wisdom great,
And wants to share with you;
A peace that will help your state,
Just ask and you will find it true!

************************************

Speech flows so rude
From lips so crude;
Make a message to inflame,
Calling words of shame.

Why embarrass me so,
Telling me where to go.
Am I trying to hurt you
Or make you blue!

Happy with your game
To cause others pain,
Upset the apple cart,
Your life`s falling apart.

Frustration runs wild,
No place to be mild
Things at a fast pace,
I see it on your face.

Maybe you can be cool,
Stop being a fool.
Here`s a good rule,
Don't be so cruel .

Something wrong in the heart
When you blow your top.
Get a better kindly start
When you purpose to stop.

Take a two step`s, back ,
Give the rope some slack,
No more fighting back,
Find out what you lack.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

A question to ask:::::
"What's wrong with me ?" ,
Calmly sit down
With a big frown.

Let's have a long talk,
Even have a long walk;
Check the real state
What's on your plate.

Be calm for a while,
Get into a good style.
"What's the right way."
To have a good day?

Get a right answer
For every bad problem.
By being all aware
Of what makes a calm.

Natural Mystic

There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
If you listen carefully now you will hear
This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why

Things are not the way they used to be
I won't tell no lie
One and all got to face reality now
Though I try to find the answer
To all the questions they ask
Though I know it's impossible
To go living through the past
Don't tell no lie

There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
Can't keep them down
If you listen carefully now you will hear
Such a natural mystic
Blowing through the air

This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why

There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
I won't tell no lie
If you listen carefully now, you will hear
There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air

Such a natural mystic, blowing through the air
There's a natural mystic blowing through the air
Such a natural mystic, blowing through the air
Such a natural mystic, blowing through the air

Lullaby

Rock me in your arms
Comfort my sadness and regret.
Let life flow somewhere
Let time stop for us.
I want to wake up in your embrace
Feel the breath on your face.
I want to know you need me
And nothing bad will happen to us.
And now I whisper to you good night
Although you can't hear these words.
Let the dream comfort you
May the good spirit protect you.

Happy Man Blues

Come late, late in the evening
my candle burn down low
Come late, late in the evening
my candle burn down low
we all got peace back in the barnyard baby
the day you decided to go

I took your suitcase to the station
the train had two lights on behind
I took your suitcase to the station
the train had two lights on behind
both red and blue for you baby
'cos you're finally off my mind

I HAVE A FRIEND (an original poem from a book of Inspiration that I published in 2016)

“A friend loves at all times.” (Proverbs 17:17)
“…But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24)

I lost my friend; piece of me died.
I lost a friend; I cried and cried.
But in the end I wondered if
He was a friend at all.

I lost my friend; I’m not sure why.
I lost a friend; it made me cry.
To save the friend ship I did try,
But she won’t even call.

I found a friend; and He found me.
I have a friend, and now I’m free
To have someone who cares for me;
Who answers when I call.

About this poem:
Some friendships are very valuable (for at least one of the parties involved),so when things go awry there may be a separation that causes distress.

Burnout

Bu-bu-bu Burnout!
Burnin out, burn out, burnin out, burnout
Wa wa wa
Burnin out, burnout, burnin out, burnout
Wa wa wa
It's not just here, it all over the nation
Covid, Ukraine, and run away inflation
We wanted to party and get a little rest
But the workers had already headed out west
So the boss says yes
As for the rest of you
Let's all get to work and do the burnout!
Now I can't even think
And I can't even sleep
All of these hours got me feelin like a creep
But the homeless remind me it could be a lot worse
Even though, I still want to f@#$in curse
It just ain't fair
Well, look over there
Lots of other people doin the burnout!

It Takes Two to Tango

It Takes Two to Tango

In the dance of the roses, red as wine,
Passion burning, entwined in a divine sign,
A duet of hearts, beating in time,
Telling a tale, of your love and mine.

Under the gaze of daisies, so pure,
Where love is innocent, untouched and sure,
Two souls collide, no walls endure,
In this dance of life, sweet and demure.

The whispering lilies in the night,
Echo our promises, our pledge to hold tight,
In the tango we dance, under the moonlight,
Finding our rhythm, in love's sacred rite.

In the field of sunflowers, bright and gay,
Our spirits twirl, lost in ballet,
With each swaying step, in this merry play,
Our love blossoms, in the light of the day.

The tulips hum the melodies, so sweet,
A harmony perfect, when two hearts meet,
In the dance of love, where joy and sorrow greet,
The music of life, in time, we beat.

Past the orchids, mysterious and wild,
Lies the tango of love, untamed, beguiled,
In this dance of ours, through trials we've smiled,
For in every step, love has been reconciled.

Amidst the violets, shy and soft,
We found a rhythm, aloft,
In this dance of ours, gentle and oft,
We found a love, that held us aloft.

The marigolds glow, with fervor so bright,
As we sway in the twilight, under the starlight,
In our tango, we find love's eternal light,
Two hearts, one rhythm, in the silent night.

In the garden of our tango, love unfurls,
Each petal, a step, as the dance whirls,
In the dance of the flowers, where passion swirls,
It takes two for a tango, in love's own world.

About this poem:
This poem, titled "It Takes Two for a Tango," is a beautiful exploration of love and partnership through the metaphor of a tango dance, taking place in the natural backdrop of a blooming garden. Each flower represents a unique aspect of love, making the poem rich in imagery and symbolism. The poetry flows rhythmically, much like the dance it describes, and uses the flowers as a progression through different stages of love, from passion (roses) to purity (daisies), commitment (lilies), joy (sunflowers), harmony (tulips), mystery (orchids), gentleness (violets), brightness (marigolds), and finally the culmination of love's journey (garden).

The poem explores how love, like a dance, needs rhythm, timing, understanding, and mutual respect between the dancers. It speaks to the intimacy and shared experiences of two individuals bound together, gracefully moving through life’s music. The choice of words, their rhythm, and the progression of ideas give the poem a romantic, thoughtful tone. The poet's use of nature imagery throughout also adds a sense of depth and makes the poem feel more alive and vivid.

Overall, "It Takes Two for a Tango" beautifully encapsulates the dynamics of love and partnership through vivid imagery, compelling metaphors, and a rhythm that mirrors the dance it describes. It's a poignant, elegantly crafted piece of work. It is dedicated to MAHARLIKA 808

When they get you down
down on your knees
never buckle
never buy the sleaze
who'll be rising
in the morning breeze
from the firestorm
gimme shelter please

FIST HIGH
FOR LIBERTY GAIN
BURNING FLAG

So Few are They Whose Legion is Peace

So few are they whose legion is peace.
Did Columbus chase stillness
beyond tumultuous seas?
Sails and oars were manned by dissidents,
genocide is patent.

Prayers and spreads with huge birds
were answered with reservations,
provisions like prisons,
and birthrights lifted.

So few are they whose legion is peace.
Devoid of wings, souls fly
to escape the flaming towers.
Barren of truth, tongues lie
to secure legends of power,
and destroy past ally.

It is for youth to pursue truth
before wicked moons glide by.
Leap with faith like ten Moses,
your Sabbath day is nigh.
Race is diversion,
kissing cheeks of cliché.

Is the spoil more than the sacrifice?
The new buds quietly fade;
their radiance slowly dies,
and the few whose throng is not peace
hold their heads so high,
while mothers blame the God
who watched their children’s suicide.
