With St Paddy's Day just around the corner, when the world becomes Irish,
I have decided to set a "Poem Dedication" challenge to all poets.
You can dedicate your poem to anyone or anything and there are no rules,
It can be a thank ya Tanka or a lonely lament.
This week I kindly had a poem dedicated to me by Odette67 and I am still enjoying
the afterglow. She also enjoyed my return Tanka.
I now wish this feeling on other poets ........There are people also who just read
the poems..........they too are invited to write those first tentative lines.
This is great.....the pressure is off me..........so thinking caps on now Poets.

There is decent poet that frequents the site,
A veteran oozing verse and fable,
The life and soul of the party,
He would do a good deed if able.

But recently he released a secret,
Concerning the size of his weener,
Unusual for a man with his colour skin,
And quite a substantial demeanor.

So in honour of Robert and Tia,
As together they make a "small" pair,
I know he'll kill me for re-naming him,
Robert Hammond Medium Sinclair.

Look at the mirror,
Look back at those eyes,
It's not cold like mine,
So your heart is not stone.



Love is a stranger,
Just like fire and ice,
Someday you will find,
A man who loves you right girl.



And if you fall through the cracks,
I'll be there with the poetry pack,
We will show you from the lost way,
Lovingness and bring your old self back.e

May every single step you take
Be on the path paved only for you
So weather you're turning left or right
To you, you're always true.

May you be content with what you posses
Be it many or only few
And trust that your spirit's light
Always shines on what's best for you.

The world around me is falling apart;
A war, a death, a broken heart.
Peace it seems is too far away,
And so the world cries another day.
One person can't do it all,
Without your help the world will fall.
Without your help we will all die,
All because someone made someone cry.
Negativity is something the world doesn't need,
It only exists because of our greed.
If we all work together we may live,
All we need to do for the world is give.

Didn't they say that I would make a mistake
Didn't they say you were gonna be trouble
People told me you were too much to take
I couldn't see it, I didn't want to know

I let you in, and you let me down
You messed me up and you turned my life around
Left me feeling I had nowhere to go
I was alone how was I to know that

Who'd believe that after all we've been through
I'd be able to put my trust in you
Goes to show you can forgive and forget
Looking back I have no regrets cos

It's odd but true
the most happiest folk are not
the ones who always boost about things they're got
or about to traveling to the Moon just for fun ...

The happiest are simple humble folks who share smiles around,
and prise all good little things that matters the most
where our hearts rush to warm around simple wooden fire...
