knock knock..

knock knock..
It's time to
listen to your
heart!
This scene is
gettin' old
It's time to
be bold!
It's time for
a brand new
start!
Are you willing
to do whatever
it takes
Have you courage
enough no matter
the stakes
To break through
the wall that
blocks your way
If this speaks
to you then
start today
Mabey one big
move might do
the trick
If that won't
work then you'll
have to pick
Between tiny steps,
but at least make
one
It's better than
rotting..better
than none
Step out-break
through-break free
today
Forget about your
fear or what others
say
Cause when tomorrow
comes and you're
still stuck
You can lie to
yourself and blame
it on luck
" Hero's die once,
cowards die daily"
Prepare for battle!
No evil fights
fairly!

About this poem:
Thinking about what sacrifices we might have to make to make real changes for ourselves. It doesn't always have to be extreme measures..but sometimes it does..

hold a dream

Carve a rainbow
in the moonlight
shed the waves
of tears for all
end the dance
of the moonbeams
early morning
begins to fall

Hold the dream
tender ocean
calm and still
you mighty sea
sink or swim
on our voyage
to the land
where time stands still...

~*20/20*~

They say that he who hesitates is lost..
And I do believe
That this is true..
For if it were really meant to be..
Then wouldn't I already be with you.

The fact is , we would have taken more time..
To set the mood.. and draw the line,
between what is yours,
and what is mine...
Were we so inclined...

But somehow we didnt quite mark our territory,
Somehow , didnt quite put a beginning or even an end to our story..
so we never gave in to what might have been
And now all we're left with ...
is the I'm sorrys.....
Another heartbreak song,
in a country love story..

And sometimes, life can move so fast..
and what you dream you want to last..
But you need to grasp,
what is right before your eyes..

Sometimes life can toss you a curve,
and if youre not ready when it starts to swerve..
Sometimes.. you can miss out..
And be left with, only what could have been.

They say hindsight is 20/20..
and I am inclined to believe..
If you don't take the bull by the horns..
Then you've no one but yourself to blame..
And wasn't it always you who said..
You got to live life,
because one day you'll be dead...
And why.. do we always wait...
until it's too late..
So,If you've got something to say to someone..
Don't wait until the day is done...
Say it..
before it's too late.

Nothing worth having, ever comes easy...
So don't you give up without a fight..
Unless you want to spend your whole life looking back,
The past is not somewhere you want to live your life,
But it's 20/20.

ANOTHER FACE IN THE CROWD?

Who are we?
Another face
in the crowd?

STOP!
LOOK!
LISTEN!

Great talent can
be lurking behind
so-called
Plain Faces..

Genius might be
stumbling down
an alley

Or perhaps a
world-shaker
in the making
just dilivered
our pizza

Who's to say?

In our arrogance
we snub appearances
which do not suggest
Wisdom
Beauty
Strength

Pride struts
as a Peacock

Unaware that
humility awaits
him around the
corner to test
his metal..

Everyday people..

Is there such
a thing as an
everyday flower?

The beauty of
a rose is timeless
and mysterious, and
so is the
essence of the
power that sustains
it

Everyday people..
Who are they?

Dressed in rags
And broken by
this worlds
trials

Greatness often
looms incognito

Slipping through
the back door

Without the proper
ID..

We bumped elbows
with the lady
in the supermarket

She looked broken
and feeble sorting
through the produce
bin

But who was she?
REALLY..

Oh! She's just
like me!
An everyday person!

Now that's what makes
Greatness!

Understanding the
fear in us..

We can be both
brilliant and
stupid at times

A mix of the
divine and of
the brute

The shame and
the glory crowns
us all

Look for the
greatness walking

It's a standing
Miracle

It's another face
in the crowd..

THE RIVER OF LIFE

No river can to its source return
And all must reach the sea
Through its many twist and turns
It meanders purposely

Along the way mountain streams
Begin and join the throng
Spreading out throughout the land
The river growing strong

And finally at the estuary
It hasn’t reached the end
It spreads throughout the ocean
And greets a long lost friend

As with life we can’t go back
We can but soldier on
Experiencing the ups and downs
Till our journeys done

Within our life are many threads
So intricately are sewn
And as one comes to its end
A new one is then shown

No one knows what dreams will come
And what they’re meant to be
They’re out there on the horizon
Between the sun and the sea

Cold Fire!

Cold Fire!

Without love..
Without a worthy
inspiration..

Without your sweet
smile..

Without the
fellowship
of your heart..

without You..

I poet..
am a..

Cold Fire..

To a warrior

The contract between you and God
You saw in the smoke of fire.
You went through depths of hell.
A slave of the body desires,
But a master of your heart,
You always had a lot to tell...
Although
There were crowds around,
You was alone.
You was too strong
To show
What happened in your soul.
Your deep emotions
Were read in every line
You wrote ..
And that was so fine
To read , to hear, to absorb
But life goes on
Blessed be your way .
And may the love and joy
Light up your every day

Waiting an contemplating............

There’s an old bench seat
In a quiet city street
I like to sit on
Now and then
It exudes a quiet charm
No cause for alarm
And comforts me
Like and old friend
I can sit here and reflect
Understand and respect
What life has been
To those who surround
Plan my next move
Get into the groove
Or just wait
To see what will astound........

Flowers

Flowers that wipe out our sorrows

Am I hallucinating?
Flowers of varied colors blooming
A testament of beauty that soothes the pain?
Maybe...
I would like to undo these dark thoughts in my mind
I would love to create a world that is of balance
Where there is dark so would there be light
Where there is hate, love must override
And so on..
Is there anyone here who would join me
And scrape off this morbidity?
Or am I all alone?
We are like drowning in the oceans of doom
It has to change, we have to be strong..
So let us go out and plant, I know we can
Flowers that soothes our sorrows and pain
Flowers that make our world see the light
We deserve it, I know we do...
Not just sadness and sorrow
I am all for it,
Are you?

Sunset blues.......

The crimson sun delicately snuck behind the remainder of the day's clouds
Almost drawing them down as it sank vibrantly over the horizon
In its wake it left a hue of deep pink highlighting the dark blue of the distant mountain range and the deep greens of the valley in the forefront
In a mystical magical way it was enchanting and me in my grubby work clothes was transported from my despairing workplace to a beautiful place where I am constantly reminded what beauty abounds ..........that was all I needed to end my day..........
