Sea

Sitting here on this beach is where I'd rather be

As a cool crisp wind carries the smell of the salted sea

Only here do I feel close to natures wildest beauty

With its mighty waves crashing against its rugged caves

No man fish or mammal will ever be its lord

The timeless sea will treat with its own accord

Respect treat it with kind do not pollute

For it give to life to that I salute.

About this poem:
I just wrote it as I was inspired one day sitting down on the banks of hook lite house looking out at the sea and its wildness and beauty.

hold a dream -s/c(dedication)

Carve a rainbow
in the moonlight
shed the waves
of tears for all
end the dance
of the moonbeams
early morning
begins to fall

Hold the dream
tender ocean
calm and still
you mighty sea
sink or swim
on our voyage
to the land
where time stands still...

Learn to release people,

Embedded image from another site
Learn to release people, –
Who has decided to leave you,
Who was in the list of your friends,
Who helped you with a way.

Who darling once was,
Or even I remained him.
Who so passionately loved you,
And now I became absolutely foreign.

And, doesn't mean that he bad,
Means, the ball is simply finished.
It is just like that solved by destiny
In this life of curve mirrors.

Release, let leaves afar,
Even if the melancholy is stronger.
Let the grief will release you, –
Learn to release people...

SPREADING HONEY.

When heart and head, do not blend
Causing heartache, whether with a friend,
lover or colleague, a wound remains raw
Due to hurt, another may close a door.

Over time, pain may ease even subside
We must be ready, without pride our guide
As sometimes it's best, to turn the other cheek
Forgiveness is no weakness, if a smile you seek

We are all different, some will in time let go
Of grievances incurred, with kind words sow
Others however cannot, put the past aside
Instead feelings of injustice, they will ride

Of givers and takers, we encounter in life
Some you will notice, do not dwell on strife
We are all different, cope in different ways
I'd rather spread honey, than vinegar any day.....

About this poem:
I read that it is better for us to let go of injustice.....because we do not need to be angry....it only destroys our peace....of course our inner peace can be destroyed if we act as a doormat....only we ourselves can decide where to draw a line.....

Emotions

I'm up,
I'm down
I'm trying not to frown
feel like I’m falling
Straight into the ground.
I cry
I sigh
You know why.
I laugh
Don’t want to break in half
I smile
If only for a while.
If you don’t like
take a hike
Hear the sound of a dove

Heaven

Here there is no fear
Here there is no hate
Here there is only love
Here there is hope
Here there is joy
Here there is gold everywhere
Here everyone is rich
Here there is forgiveness
Here there is peace
Here there are no limitations
All the answers are answered
You get to eat anything you want
You never gain weight
You never have pain
Your teeth are perfect and straight
You can travel anywhere in the universe in an instant
You can go ice skating or ice fishing on Europa
You can climb Olympus Mons
You can scale down a canyon wall on Mars
You can travel to any of the stars
Visit aliens from afar
In heaven you can do it all
You'll be with people who love you
You'll be feeling alright
The future looks bright

Kiwis - With pictures

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

The kiwi is a fluffy fowl
With a long, slim, pointed beak.
But Kiwi's come to mean to all,
Folks of which I wish to speak.

I've made some friends online you see,
And they have taught me quite a bit.
The culture is quite int'resting,
They are a folk of soul and wit.

Whalers, sealers, traders and such,
They put the island on the map.
Shepherds, miners, farmers then came,
The rich resources there to tap.

Maori tribes lost all they had,
To greed and violence of whites.
This led to their almost collapse,
These horrid wars and bitter fights.

But now there's harmony so sweet,
As natives and Kiwis made peace.
With grit and courage they have won,
The trouble and the wars surcease.

Mountains, forests, beaches so fine,
Their island home has ev'rything.
This paradise in which they dwell,
Enough to cause a tear to bring.

Though I've only seen in pictures,
And some few videos and such,
It is a place I long to see,
Upon these shores I yearn to touch.

Homeward bound

I do not concern myself
with great matters
I do not reach beyond
the boundaries of my
own understanding
The sun, the moon, and
the stars are born of
a wisdom to high for
me
In my moment of time I
pause to acknowledge so
much greatness before me,
and I am humbled to be a
servant of the most High
The wind whispers through
the trees and I listen
carefully to my spirits
voice
A voice that breathes
comfort into my soul
bidding me to stay my
course, for in a little
while..I must sleep~
