The pounding of the waves are in my heart,
The very sea itself is the lifeblood of my veins,
My body is of the sand on the shore,
The sun and moon are in my mind,
Stars sparkle as my eyes,
I am a child of the universe,
Of this earth and stardust made.

If I could build
a bridge to your
very heart
This is the
day I'd choose
to start
I'd build it high
above your ocean
of pain
With pillars of
steel against
the rain
I'll battle the
wind, the waves,
and the sea
If that's what
it takes for us
to be
I'll labor hard
both day and
night
Until at last
you're in my
sight
You'll pay no
toll to cross
this bridge
My love to you
I freely give~

When I look into my imagination,
What I see defies explanation,
There are faeries and unicorns,
And giant beanstalks with thorns,
Fighting to expand an idealistic inner world,
Fighting against evil, squeezing from the outside,
Like a boa constrictor curled.
Shooting stars and a sinking moon,
In the ocean of my mind a submarine sun rising soon,
Over coral mountains,
Reflected in glittery magickal fountains,
Surrounded by flocks of flying fish,
Each one allowing me a single wish,
Through crystal clear waters, watching the evening light wane,
Weaving time, space and thought on this, that and another plane,
Yes, inside my head, can seem a confusing,
Yet wonderful and strange place to be,
But it’s where I like to be when I write,
Do you see?

Sometimes....
For what we want, the cost is too high,
We wish it was free,
Though we know nothing is,
We would like to change the world,
to a version we want to see.
And after we've saved and saved,
We may find, we don't want it now,
There's something else we crave.
If only the world was as we wanted it to be!
But, would we be happy then,
With the world our oyster, our limit the sky?
So.....
We poets, extend the limit, to that of our imaginations
Largely ignore the worlds religions, politics and machinations,
Try to make it a more acceptable place,
A world more comfortable and easy to face,
A world, a place, we would like it to be,
And kindly invite all those who would like to see.

Can we ever see past the choices we don’t understand?
Past action,
Past reaction,
Past cause,
Past effect?
Don’t be afraid, come, take my hand.
Stand with me on the precipice,
On the edge of forever,
The edge of darkness,
Edge of life,
Tiny as it seems, see the light.
Have the confidence,
Take the step into the void,
Know all will be,
Exactly as it should be,
As all in the universe turns out right.
Have the courage,
To walk in darkness, in the footsteps,
Of those that have gone before,
Through the labyrinth of life,
Knocking on door after door,
Until the right one opens,
‘til all is done,
To your satisfaction,
Knowing you have truly done your best,
And, could not have done more.
Then, will come the time,
You will realize,
The final truth,
Enshrined in ghostly golden folds of shimmering light,
Not of gold itself….More precious,
The ultimate prize,
The meaning….Of your Life!

I know you’re feeling a bit “Down“,
Listen to me, don’t frown,
You think it can’t work,
It’s all too far, too much,
Too precious,
Can’t get near enough to touch,
Well, think on this for a while,
Believe in it, it will make you smile,
If in your mind,
You live in a world of “Possible”,
Nothing’s Impossible my friend,
So you will find!

I've towed the line with you heavy on my back, your days filled with empty an future in black. It's my choice to keep you alive in my wake, my future is bright while yours rests in my cloud. If I happen to stop quick in my tracks, I'm pushed off my stop by your shadow so close. They say mimick is a complimentary form, at times it's a burden in one's freedom of life. Back up a bit to open my space that's mine in my life, cause there's times that shared space is welcome to two for the right reasons in the day. I live my own life with each step that I take as I walk through my day~

About this poem:
an expression of some conversations I've had with people over the years that are choked in their life by someone close. That chooses not to give people their space. Probably due to no self passion in their life.

Dangling by a seeming thin thread,
Past outcrop, looking down,
Five hundred metres down,
Sheer drop, sheer dread,
See the ledge to the left,
Bright sunlight,
Nothing’ but air to the right,
If I can just reach that cleft….
So shift my weight,
To the right, then the left,
Carabiner locked, no energy left,
In the hands of God and fate,
Rope walks on the sharp edge… begins to chafe,
This is it…Last pendulum swing,
Lose or win, swing baby swing,
As the maximum push creeps you out….
Of the safe…..

What can I give to the break
of dawn that it lacks of a
brighter morn
Where lack the gifts to the
blackest night that a million
stars adorn
How has my hand held the sun
and moon and kept them in
their place
By wisdoms joy has this heavenly
garment been sown in love's
sweet lace~

online today!
Just a small wee cottage for me please
With wind chimes blowing in a gentle breeze
Rainbows of roses climbing a white picket fence
For me a mansion doesn’t make sense
With gorgeous colorful flowers around
Birds singing a glorious sound
Butterflies kissing flowers with promises of love
Oh what a wondrous place it will be above
Garden paths of precious stones shining
Dripping rubies, emeralds and diamonds
Even the raindrops made of jewels
Glistening rainbows of magical pools
Sound of crystal water running cold
Moving in ribbons of blue, silver and gold
Beautiful green lawns and flowering trees
The most wondrous sight ever seen
No not a mansion for just me
I wish for a wee little cottage please

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
