it don't matter......

it don't matter if your ink don't shine
i'm sure the words will read just fine
it don't matter if the words don't rhyme
its the depth in the words that are sublime
it don't matter if the depth is deep
for depth is just the spirit you keep
and if the spirit is awake not asleep
then awakened words could make you weep
and when you weep tears are born
but tears are not necessarily forlorn
for joy abounds to adorn
a soul that seeks words that warm
if only themselves well that's okay
but others also share their say
disguised words can sometimes stray
but harm is surely a world away.........

The Box

Embedded image from another site

Dancing into the light
Twirling as I think
Why am I here tonight
Staring at this box
Black on pink
Doing what I should not
Bartering with unusual thought
Contemplating a position
That blooms anew
In transition
Just as coming change
Rearranges the norm
Wears a new form
Bound in non conforming
Like essences transforming
That’s why I won’t give any thoughts
When I don’t recognize myself
Who am I anyway
Stuck in this box
A lost journeying soul on
Seas of green or blue
Searching for the perfect you
Who cares about the new rage
Turn that boring page
Nothing else remains
Just days of crazy refrains
Nothing to lose or gain
So why not
Thicken the obtuse plot
Open the box now
Do what you should not
Show us how
Pour out potions of change
And go for the glory
Retell the story
About the box
Be the change we see
The non-conformists
Running through delightful mists
No one keeping check lists
Free and undone
Revealing a mystery shown
Held in the moon, sun and stars
This is who we are
Seek the hidden secrets
And you will find they
all abide outside
The box

Dinner in the oven

One day my dad at the age of twenty two came home to find his dinner in the oven,

On the table was a note that said ive gone to catch the Boat

With my first true love who has returned

My dad was very angry because his steak was burned,

My dad set his eyes on the young woman who lived across the road .

He always held a fancy to her so I'm told,

The young woman was my mam .

Soon she was wheeling a pram.

Thankyou runaway new bride

I was my dads pride,

thank you friends and CS

Thank you CS for this meeting place
Warm and gentle, when we need embrace
We're here like brothers and sisters
Confiding our weakness and greatest fears

When we're up and or down
When our world is beset with dark storms
Where do we unload our miseries?
Here with our friends at CS

Therefore it's just fitting to say:
Thanks to our site and the owners
A little gesture of gratefulness and prayers
So we can always come to share our lives
Once in a while or even everyday

Perhaps if it is not too much to ask
Let's join our hands and be thankful to this site.

About this poem:
I just read about the poem of our dear friend Paloma who had provided me with enormous amount of inspiration on the days when I was so low and down. I am better now and I hope we can, also share her fears and frustrations because this is what I love most of this place. Our ability to share our pains, sorrows and love give us strength when we need it. That is all.

Centre of Memory

Tata Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela
July 18, 1918 - December 5, 2013

given a life of promise
turning it into service
to fight for justice

given a lawyer’s education
turning into a warrior
to fight injustice

given a prison sentence
turning it into freedom
to fight ignorance

given a number 466/64
turning it into a legacy
to fight disease

given a name “troublemaker”
turning its meaning to honour
to fight dishonour

given a strong voice
turning its words into salvation
to heal a country of its wounds

given a name “Tata”
turning its love into service
to fight for the human family.

Never Alone

Embedded image from another site

Its okay Mr Chains but it is time for you to let go
You have held me for so long deep in my lows
Broken by all of your weight and with each link you suppressed
But life calls me to freedom I will no longer regret

As for my Pain you held me close in your darkness
When I needed to feel you gave me your tender kiss
Then there you were Burdens you always did have my back
Holding on like a monkeys affixiating attack

I will miss you Sorrow, but I'm sure that we'll meet time to time
No one else cared about you, but you will always be mine
Im sorry though Loneliness, because I found a new friend
One who strengthens my hands and I don't have to pretend

So thank you dear Chaos for all of the times
That I spent with you hopeless, but now I am refined
After being thrown in the fire and forged from your fear
I found strength in my Faith, so there is no place for you here

And to the one I see in the mirror you don't have to act tough
Your worth more then you know, you're a diamond in the rough
Because when I look in your eyes I can see in your soul
And when you fall to your knees know that your not alone
...You were never alone...

Love welcome world

Travelling across sea-discovered new worlds
of beauty I see in two hemispheres,
Beauty in all faces that dreams of thee in thine eye,
and sadly carry bagiges of dust
with shuddering fears and dispere;
diclining each other affers.

Love welcome world,to bind in one
while soul of different sights drew back,
like the melodie that's sweetly play's
in different tune's,and boundless deep,
warld wander and weep for there sins.

If world luck'd less in any thing
love will take hand to mixed us ecually,
each hearts beating each to each,
thro' its joys and fears,
instead - human to human
careffuly measuring safe distance,
as bird afraid to thrust coming nearer...

Oh sweet world I fear
if big tragedy of metheor strike will come
to wake us up,
for one world to clamb the hill thegither
where hand in hand we'll go,
reborn again as one the loth,
to pursue a better fate of human kind,
to find that thousand miles disapiers
in compassionate heart of human touch,
to light lantern of the everlasting strife
not only Self to please to its delight;
but riching me,riching you,
for the love that is purest
in new map of the world
that shell worthy be of happy Eternity.

With love that tells alone,
from whom the world begun,
with first love of Adam and Eve,
first innocent white rose filled with kiss,
first whispers of desire trembling,
breathes of love to one world...
to build Heaven's in Hell despite.

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

I gotta get out of here
I'm going insane
No ocean to play in
No way to null the pain
Work work work
Thats all i seem to do
Trying to please everyone
I need something new
I'd love to jump on a yacht
And sail the seven seas
Grow my hair long
Let it drift in the breeze
Eat coconuts and spear some fish
Surf uncrowded breaks
Just me and my wish
Explore the mountains
Of far away lands
Scour jungles and coastlines
With no demands
Hot air ballooning
Across valleys green
Elephant riding
Sounds serene
Snowboarding
If only i could
Canada sounds nice
Thats where i would
Riding a mule
As stubborn as me
Through the canyon
What would i see
Feel the spirits
From yesteryear
I know i'm in tune
I doubt if i'd fear
Alas so much to see
And so much to share
I better be careful
It's to much too bare
Oh well chip chip
That's what i do
One day at a time
To get me through
My bucket list grows
Every day
I better start ticking
Before i betray
A beautiful world
And its beautiful way.......
