The Perfect Man

He will be tall or small.
A good heart.
A man complex backed with a good nature.
Fun but serious
Talented but silly when required.
Compassion with desire
He may be the perfect man
But for my part I will do all I can

Little Apples will grow Again

Nature. Where the growth formula lends its hand. The internal reflection of the root dynamic expresses itself and shares the mirror image as they blossom. When the acceptance root sprouts itself the mind no longer retreats. The journey seems possible again for the seeds to fruitfully develop through nature’s way. For little Apples will grow again.

Writers block

Writers block

I hate writers block, I stare at the blank pages and watch the clock.
The Words I do scribe are nonsense at best. I need some inspire to aid in my quest.
I gaze out my window and stare up to a cloud. I muse at winged creachers all flocked in a crowd.
The tree I grew up in startled me with a scurry. One of gods little pawed friends, no reason to worry.
I happily watch some children at play, And think to myself, what a wonderful day. Written by...Lisa Hegler

Nature

Drawn by natures warm embrace
You walk the path lightly used by those before
Passing creatures held by your grace
Scolding, wary, hiding behind the green door.

The path defined by old oak trees
Arms reaching, you know you’re home
Whispered welcomes on a gentle breeze
Scents waking memories of home

Peace wrapping your troubled heart
Caressing soothing calming your soul
Serenity slowly plays it's healing part
Despair fading as nature does console

The spirit of nature makes reality fade
Taking the worries from your thoughts
Guiding you to the house in the glade
Full of memories and pleasant thoughts

You reach for the door and it opens wide
With each breathe you sense the calm
A crackling fire invites you inside
To sit at the table and bathe in the balm

While the birds sing a serenade to you
And quiet descends upon the glen
And tears on your cheeks like morning dew
Wash away the fears within

At last your soul no longer aching
As you walk along the river shore
Where ancient trees have been waiting
For you to visit them once more

To sit beside the trees so green
Hidden deep inside your heart
Where the animals and evergreens
Hum ever gently to your heart

And you look about and she is there
Reaching out to take your hand
So you smile and without a care
Slowly stand to take her hand

Together you stroll the river shore
Walking the trail you knew was there
Laughing as in years before
Death has come so rest forevermore

About this poem:
Except for perhaps some edits later on IT IS COMPLETE. I thought I would post a poem as I was writing so you could watch the process. I hope you enjoy how the poem takes on a life of it's own. Edits will happen often as well as the addition of Stanzas so check back often. I will post a comment with every edit. I hope you have enjoyed accompanying me on this journey. It has been fun for me. Let me know perhaps I will do this again sometime in the future.

Under Cherry Blossom Skies

One thing opens an expanding mind
Tiniest little dove wings you will find
Season of promise season of joy
Each blossom becomes a decoy

Trapped by their dazzling brilliance
Peaceful does practice resilience
Lured into each others tranquility
Breathing deep the odor of fertility

One more thing to love each day
Sun rays shining and showing the way
Even briefly as the rains drag past
These moment of contentment last

Now such that I search in life
Not mired down by all its strife
Held captive by your beautiful grace
Tens of thousands filling my space

If all I need to surrender is my will
Be basked in the beauty you distill
I will not try and leave till when
Only when my heart is filled again

Such a ruckus of noise and tiny wings
Birds and bees and blossoms brings
From the nectar of trees so adorn
The sweet substance of life is born

My face shines with candid mirth
Pleasurable as my mind give birth
How rich a square of mosaic tile
You paint upon my face a smile

It is because I get such pleasure
When life gives me a rule to measure
My joyfulness needs not a disguise
Sitting under cherry blossom skies

Night Sky

Yesterday I saw a wondrous sight
As I walked about last night
And looked up to the sky up high
Stars sparkling like diamonds in the sky

Blinking, winking, dancing keeping time
To the beat kept by father time
The stage was set for the show to start
As I wondered when it would start

A flash just seen did catch my eye.
Over yonder way up there above my eye
I turned and saw the opening scene
Of comets screaming to be seen

Over, under the big bright moon.
Dancing to the opening tune
Of the opera about to play
For all those lovers out that day

Warned by the crack of the distant thunder
I searched about for the coming wonder
There in the distance I saw the start
Of the most wonderous part

There a small light of red, blue and green
Started to grow into that ball that I gleaned
On that wondrous diamond filled night
Till it hid all those diamonds so bright

Spinning, swirling colours ever changing
I watched as the dance kept evolving
Until at last it’s brilliance did finally ebb
Opening the way for the rest of the web,

How could I ever really know,
How long I stood there watching the show?
Played out for me in the dark sky
With all those diamonds sparkling in my eye!

My Enchanted Valley

Green are the emerald hills and dark blue waters
Long and chilled until the dusk turns them to grey
Cold as rocks reached in its open spray
Where seasons watched come and go
A place where dreams will never grow old
Where fog will roll into its misty harbor
Like a giant breath until all is vanished
Into the past even the days will grow old
But never this love of place will grow cold
Where the green green grass of home
Is never far away from its blue blue waters

Down The Rabbit’s Hole

The hole was there on the edges
Where a field met against sedges
Behind an old rotted stump
A perfect escape in a jump

A pathway leading underground
A tunnel with other holes be found
Where daylight streams so hazy
And dreams become so crazy

Only the noise of heavy clopping
Slowly starting and stopping
Like the spokes on a wheel
Now spinning backwards feel

Heart making these rhythms
Blood pouring through a schism
Deep in the darkness waits
Until all the danger abates

Quietly darkness turns to sleep
Calmness will I find and keep
Until its safe to go back outside
When fear is not so amplified

Once again turns almost night
Cloaking black into moon light
I gaze out again from my view
Summer grass and sparkling dew

This is how I must survive
Keep my body and soul alive
It is a constant vigil that I keep
Stealth make not even a peep

For time is not measured in days
But days are measured many ways
And life is measured in time
Between life and death sublime

About this poem:
An 'Alice in Wonderland'-like imagery of a rabbit burrowed in to a small ridge as a metaphor for my emotional reticence coping with the Covid19 pandemic raging around me.

Isolation

I Miss My Flying Like A Bird
I Miss My Coming to The Nest
I Keep Sitting In My Nest
I am afraid of The Pandemic
Virus called Covid 19
I Trust in GOD
Want to Fly again
The Friend Birds Says
Keep Sitting in Nest
If you don't have the Virus
Other Birds may have
One Intelligent Bird said
The Germs Of Virus Fly in Air
Its keep on multiplying
All Over The World
Keep sitting in your nest
Till the Order Of The GOD
To The Virus To Bury In Earth.
GOD KEEP ALL HUMANS SAFE FROM PANDEMIC
CURE THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM IT
Ameen
