ONE TO STAND

I hear your cries,I hear your plees I'm trying to help ,but no one seems to care. The help is it to late? Did I wait to long?
Is everyone so scared that they have no voice? What can I do to help you see that this is not the way? That if we keep quiet we will perish ,because we said nothing, did nothing. What will it take to convince all that we are the ants? Thats we out number them ,not they out number us. We are the ones if we stand united we can and will prevail. they cannot kill us all ,nor can they kill our rights. If we are alive we are obligated to be heard , to fight until we are gone, until we have drawn our last breathe. Don't be scared I will not stop till i'm gone from this world neither should you. I know we are scared but ,our numbers should bring you comfort. For if thirty million stand together noone can stop that. Stand with me and fight , for I'll fight for you.

What my eyes, don't see...

What my eye's do not want to see,
Anguishes me, to this harsh society.

As I look to the majestic sky, I see
Darkness & destruction, in it's light.

How can one be truly happy?
As we embark on this "so called"
Journey.....

Selfishly!!!

Those prostitutes who lurk, on the corner.
Don't ignore them. They are someone's son
Or daughter.

Look beyond that young lady's eyes.
A rambunctious little girl.....waits inside.
For a glimmer of care..........in a faceless strangers lies.
As a mothers silent prayers.......cradles her daughters life.
And someone's loving husband.......creeps around tonight.

I close my eyes, I don't want to see.
These villains that surround me.
They smile politely in your face,
As the back is turned, a frown takes shape.

A brutal dishonesty of the worse kind.
Manipulation, so intriguing to the weak & blind.

As the congregation prays, the preacher is delayed.
On his private jet, to save there day.
Confession of each sin, bought to him.
A collection plate, constantly circulates.
In such abundance, to make his life great.

While another awaits..........she couldn't attend church today. her sons disease fatal, if a transplant doesn't take place.
Another struggles with the mortgage.......to bring the, family forward.
While a homeless man, on these streets.......rummages to find food, to eat.

It is such disgrace, the lack of love, for the human race.
Regardless of personal riches, I can never envy!!!

They mirror selfish needs, to compensate constant greed.
Laying dormant in my dreams.

What my eyes do not want to see!!!

Letter to the world III

Quick someone duck this man is about to strike with another style,
A verse or rap depending on however you feel to try to profile.
I might need help to digest that we send our kids to public schools,
Only to have them given a textbook as they take away their tools.
Come on now why is it everything we do require a contract,
Especially when most of the time nothing is being added just subtract.
I'm also not going to blame the president when its at fault.
So the next time you hear something from someone with a bias don't give it a grain of salt

About this poem:
I had a dream to become a weatherman than my college took away that goal as well as the hurdles in my life that provided me with tests to test my ability to overcome. Now I write about life, love, and about things that I find going on around me. My belief is that we are destined to an open mind as we pursue a brighter future even though we are currently experiencing cloudy conditions. So to my fellow brothers and sisters don't ever give your dreams and goals for one day you may just be the one that our future generations hear about as a difference maker in our history

I am the majority

Tragedy a fact of life
many suffer for the spoils from yet another war
deception corruption they know not of poverty
Minority in power living pretty
They care not for the majority
zoned out on tel lie vision
another fukin fantasy
living hell suffering globally
enslaved without chains
used abused like a donkey
in a false sense of security
better off dead helps their economy
Check out their strategy
its been in place for centuries
Yet won't tell you in lessons of history
Don't believe the hype
living large is the way to be
another lie and deadly sin
they may fool some all of the time
I just want love peace of mind and harmony
Pen my thoughts through poetry

About this poem:
People in high places governing are so full of deception
I have no faith in people who are out to have total control of our lives. They create so much living hell globally and yet never face trial for their crimes against humanity and reap the power and control

Give it back

Take our money
Take our gold
Fool us again
Its getting old
Tell us a lie
Increase your wealth
Cant afford much here
In bad health
Fuel prices too high
Cigarettes not cheap
Taxes and bills
I just cant sleep
Something has to give
Someones got to go
We have poor living
And nothing to show
You eat your caviar
While we eat our broth
We sleep in the gutters
While you watch us rot
A time will come
When your empire will fall
And we will be there
To reclaim it all

Fighting against injustice

We have to draw a line somewhere
And stand for our convictions
But many fail to do so
lest they risk some soft position
But thank God for rare exceptions
with the guts to stand their ground
and oppose some great injustice
that is being handed down
Risking job and reputation
Standing up for what is right.
Lord please comfort, bless and keep them
Make them strong and help them fight

Among the Battle Scene

No matter you're path you won't it to be stationary,
Surrounded by war without a place to call a sanctuary.
Gunfire and blood surround me on these once peaceful streets,
Where we hung out as we played beats with our feets.
They call me insane because I'm hoping for a peace,
Yet we have issues and wars seeping through the crease.
Our voices get mulled by the screams from all around,
Even as we have to bury the souls of the innocent into the ground

About this poem:
Whether you make a dollar or a billion we are 100% human. Most wars are caused by greed, fear, or power yet thousands of lives are lost due to wars. Does anyone see spoils from a victory? Or do we sacrifice lives for something the public sees no benefits. Why is war the first option? Why are we not able to see things from the others point of view?

Letter to the world

Even in 2013 we play games to annihilate and incarcerate,
With no change to the order of society's ability to discriminate.
All of us have differences with not two of being the same,
Yet rather than learn from one another we continue to walk with shame.
For over centuries and decades we continue to destroy each other,
As opposed to us taking a seat next to someone to learn from another.
When do we wake up and realize that we aren't doing something right,
Why do we blindly pass on even as we approach the holy light.
We are all brothers and sisters no matter our religion or color,
Created in the image of a spirit to support ones who feel smaller.
Decide for yourself and ask why things are the way they are,
Be the voice of light and be the change with unity as the star.

About this poem:
My resolution has been to keep the faith in 2013 because in a time in which all seems lost and our struggles are greatly increased we can be the change. We can ask ourselves why we continue to segregate ourselves just because we're different. Life is far to short to spend it hating on others for reasons out of your control. Look at others as brothers and sisters who are here to teach us view without bias and without judgement. For every life there is a soul in search of knowledge lets not walk with blinders.I love you all and hope through our differences we can learn to find ourselves in a truly United Space

Little Lamb

I am a child of God
no shoes upon my feet.

I have no house or home
I live upon the street.

I struggle every day
I just want to survive.

I ask myself most every day
Why am I still alive?

One night when I was crying
I heard a voice so near

I jumped with fear and worry
She said, I will dry your tears.

I've come for you, I need
your help
Your Father's waiting there

A world of dreams unlimited
A life without a care.

I said, where have you been
She said , I've been here all along

When you were weak or tired
It was I that made you strong.

I opened up my eyes and saw
a bright and shining light.

My heart was warm, there was
no pain
despite the cold dark night.

She said, my child once you
were lost
your shepherd you have found.

I said, you're sure it's me
you want
She reached without a sound.

And then i knew without a doubt
that my life was all done.

She said, Oh don't be silly child
Your life has just begun.
