Who Are You?

Who am I?
You must find the answer.
How do I do that?
Seek with all of your heart.

Where do I look?
Inside, everywhere you have been.
Why am I so lost?
That is your question.

How can one lose oneself?
By losing focus.
But what if there was no focus?
There is always focus.

Can you help me to understand?
If you listen, you will hear.
Why am I scared?
To face oneself is the hardest task of all.

Why is that?
The unknown is terrible to behold.
Who are you?
I am you.

S E A R C H I N G

For i think i have found
the family i longed for.
For God has lead me to
where he wants me to be.
For He has shown me how
to let my sadness out
to just be happy and free.
To be who i am a christian
with a family.
To be praising God's word
and worshiping him in all
that i do and say each day.
Look into yourself and see
where God wants to lead thee
so you can follow him for
all eternity.

The Circle

Its true what they say
About the circle of life
Being disrespectful
An getting into strife
Those were my days
As young as they were
Moments in time
For them to reoccur
Through the eyes
Of my boy
An his spirit an will
I'm learning life lessons
Often an still
Every rejection
Be what it may
Is a yard once measured
By the words i did say

To My Octogenarian Aunt

If you're still out chasing fellas
and you're wobbly on your feet,
Catch one that can tie his tie,
and dresses rather neat.
Be sure you sleep in seperate beds
so you can't hear him snore,
Seperate rooms are dandy too
so you can close your door.
And if he comes to pester you
just kiss him on the cheek,
And tell him that your headache
should be gone this time next week !

A Grandpa Morning

Mute morning of fall
even the birds are quite
He just doesn't hear anything at all...

It is morning but it feels like night
Dark blue black clouds overhead
Blocking the morning sun from sight...

Where's the morning paper?
No light, just dead man's winter
Cold morning like an arctic night...

Grandma says to put your coat on
You can catch pneumonia or the flu
Maybe the sun will be out before long...

Come in by the fire and have a sit
The hospital is not really a nice place
But it is there if you need it...

Who R U ?

Family and your job
have a big influence
on your life whether
you know it or not.
Sometimes it is good
Sometimes it is bad.
Sometimes family is
not one you choose
but one that is
chosen for you
by the government.

Growing up

My boy the one i spoiled
all of his life.
The one i felt was so
precious to me.
God's Gift
A Miracle
God sent to me.
You have grown into
this almost teen
you have your own
personality you
need to be given
your wings in
order to F L Y .
I will always be
there for you to
guide you along
your journey to

Daddy's Girl

You remind me of Daddy's
Your beautiful smile
Your bubbling personality
Your cheerful exterior
You are the light of my world
You are the sunshine in my life
When i am sad you make me smile
You make everything worth while
I love you my beautiful girl
I want you to talk to me
You can talk to me about anything
You can come to me about anything
You are a great asset to this family
You are a bright teenager who is
looking forward to her future
and all that she can be as a
Veterinarian.

5 Minutes

5 minutes, always just 5 minutes, goes like this, babes, going to the shop, will only be 5 minutes, but the Question, is it really just 5 minutes, thinking to myself, isnt the 5 minutes statement not just a everyday saying, can anybody really tell me how long 5 minutes is, believe me, if you have an emergency somewhere and you call for assistance, the operator might create the expresssion that the Unit will only take 5 minutes...time of arrival, but believe me, that 5 minutes is a life time, the clock ticks in its own mind, and you wonder, is there no way to speed the process up, no 5 minutes, I dont trust you at all, let me dont move to the bedroom, 5 minutes, shame on you, now I realize why the divorce rate is so high, men it is not a crime to use Viagra, 1st impressions last

The power of the mind is stronger than the body

dad

YOUNG I WAS WHEN I FELT THE PAIN OF THE REST MY LIFE,
YOUNG I WAS WHEN AT FIRST I ENJOYED MY LIFE ,
HERE TODAY THE MIDDLE OF LIFE I STAND TO SAY I SURVIVED,
FEAR OF YOU HAVE LONG GONE AS WITH FEAR OF THE DARK,
WET BEDS AND SLEEP IN THE DIRT ARE NOW COVERED UP BY BON FIRES AND TOAST,
STRAPS AND SMACKS SUSPENSIONS AND PAIN BOUGHT ON BY YOU HAVE GONE IN TIME,
WOUNDS ARE HEALING WITH THE HELP OF FULL MOONS AND FORGIVENESS IS NEARING AS AGE IS HEALING,
MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE AS I A YOUNG MAN THEY MADE ME THE MAN
AND DAD THAT I AM,
TOUGHNESS I MUST SAY THANK YOU DAD AS WITH OUT THAT ROUGH LIFE,
CUDDLES WOULD BE DESTROYED AND ANGER WOULD BE DEEP WITHIN SIDE,
UR HONESTY TO MAKE UP YOUR PAST HELL WITHIN THY LIFE HAVE MADE IT EASY FOR ME TO MOVE ON,
SO JUST A BIG THANKS TO ONE MAN I CAN NOW CALL DAD FOR STARTING TO LEARN AND PUTTING HIS LIFE ASIDE TO MAKE AMENDS FOR THE ABUSE OF PAST,
I THANK YOU DAD AND FORGIVE UR PAST HOPEFULLY WE CAN CONTINUE TO ENJOY OUR TIME ,
AS NOW WE BOTH CAN MOVE ON IN LIFE AND FINALLY I CAN SAY THANK YOU DAD.
