it time for bed

It time for bed
as I just said
look at your clock
it the one that
go tick tock
come on put your
nighty on
turn out the light
maybe if your
lucky you can
give your husband or
child a hug or
maybe your wife
It time for bed
maybe you didnt
hear what I said
pull up your blanket
throw off your socks
oh look it the
quilt I made
such beautiful bocks
It time for bed
ok ok Iam ending
this thread
Iam getting sleepy now
so say your prayer
and put your book down
it time to dream
if you all know what
I mean?
It time for bed,,,

DADDY'S GIRL

shes returning home
after many a years
shes attending dads funeral
shes controlling fears.
as door opens slowly
shes slapped with coldness in the face
hit with never ending memories
of her bad old days.

was no home sweet home
all thanks to dad
her childhood taken
one, she never had.
held by innocence
not knowing love shouldnt hurt
she thought this is what it means
to be daddy's little girl.

thinking of mum she wonders
how could she of not known
but so much for the saying
theres no place,like home.
hello mum, im here"
she gulps, as she steps inside
and just as her mother had
thinks now, is not the time.

a part of her is screaming "mother"
why did you let me down
but she cares not to upset her
ain't that what famalies are about.
she'll hold off with the questions
she will take it in her stride
to be the loyal daughter
supportive, by mothers side.

dust to dust
ashes to ashes
her tears will fall
but not for him.
she decides not to question
why" will become her forgotten word
besides, there are no answers
why she had to be, daddys little girl.

R.I.P dad
im glad you are gone
and now that you are
i can finally move on.
its you now daddy
begging for mercy
but you cant hide from god
what you done to me.

HERES A ROSE FOR YOU

Can not find the words to tell you
How much I love you.
So Mother heres a rose for you!
I try so hard to show you
with kisses and hugs.
It's not enough so,
Mother heres a rose for you!
I hope you understand.
Mother you are the
Rose in my life.
I know your heart is filled with love for me.
And every day I watch it bloom!
So Mother heres a rose for you!

For you God daughter

For you, Goddaughter

It was a very special day
The call arrived out of the blew
Filled with an unspeakable joy
The reason I was overjoyed was you!

Your dad is my brother
And the best without a doubt
He is a very special man
One I could not live without.

Through your life he will be your hero
There through everything you do
Sharing every smile along the way
And he will be there for hard times too.

Your parents asked me to be your godmother
Something I never thought I would hear
My life is along way from perfect
But is so much better with you here.

I took a pledge on your christening day
To always do my best by you
And that promise I will always uphold
And I will be here for your brothers too.

You have brought so much joy to my life
And I treasure watching you grow
Just how much you have given me
No words can ever show.

YOUR CHILDREN ARE WATCHING

Your children are watching the world through your eyes
Are they seeing the truth or learning to lie?
Your children are watching the world through your eyes
Are they seeing compassion or how to criticize?
Your children are hearing the world through your ears
Are they hearing your laughter or experiencing tears?
Your children are hearing the world through your speech
Are they speaking words of encouragement or other words you teach?
Your children are seeing the world’s different colors
Are they appreciating differences or cutting down others?
Your children are sampling many new tastes
Are they enjoying these samples or treating them as waste?
We know that our children indeed learn what they live
Are they learning to take..or are they learning to give?
A brand new born baby is pure without sin
We train up their thinking to manhood from then
And what will they learn as they grow on the way?
To rebel and do evil or do good and obey?
They learn from example, a powerful thing
They’ll see how to cry, how to laugh, how to sing,
How to treat others fairly, how to offer a hand
How to share with their brother,
And be a virtuous woman or man
You can’t teach integrity by reading a book
They learn by your example when they stop and they look
So respect all your children, show them love every day
And you’ll see as they watch you,
They will be like you someday.
For your children are watching the world through your eyes
And how you envision things, will soon materialize.

About this poem:
I wrote this after my boys did something one day that copied a character trait and I thought how important it is when we, as parents exemplify the behaviour we would like to see eminate from our children.

Daddy's sky

Dane, Harrison, Wade and Devin
Daddy miss's you every day, all seven
I wish so much I could see you play
Take you to the park, just for a day
If you ever miss me and you start to cry
Just look up, up at the sky
And remember daddy's here too
Looking up at that same sky, just like you

Children Our Future

Their smiles they brighten any room, no matter what has happened within that day these little face's have a way of softening of hearts and making our day.
Their laughter is pleasure to my ear's, hearing their words that are somewhat unclear to us but so funny to them is worth the wait any time of the day.
They do silly things and amuse their selves when we are busy on the phone, or working in the kitchen. We feel a tug on our leg letting us know they want to help, so we give them some pots and pans letting them know that they can help, with a gleam in their eye's they feel like they just recieved the biggest toy in the world.
As they grow they mimic and absorb all that we say and do, and with our help they will learn much for their future along with having fun in the games that we share with them, yet unaware of how much love and dedication we have in our hearts for their well-being and future.

~~TO BE A FAMILY OF CHOICE~~

Your family must love you, no matter what.
Still if you often behave like a real nut.
They do not care if you are lazy or if you swear.
They love you because you are theirs.

You cannot choose the family you are born in, it is true.
Sometimes the fit may feel quite crooked.
But you have more in common with them than you know.
They have shaped your life much like bread’s shaped from dough.

The next time you feel like disowning them,
Take a moment to ponder before you condemn.
Without your family, you would be more alone.
They are the only family you have known.

So before swearing, trying doing something more constructive
Show them you do care you are part of their family.
Do act more sane than crazy as a nut,
For others will see who's family you were born to.

Hello my friend you are my family so show your love in
Return by caring for who brought you into this world.
I am the one that given you a family of love~~~

Transforming

You sit and wait, wait and walk, nothing happens no nothing at all. When is the time going to come, what will it be like? Other's they know and can't seem to explain it in the way that I can understand. Words sputter out of their mouths but to my ears, it seems to be heard yet there is no understanding of what they are expressing and this may be from having yet to experience what they have endured. One thing they all say that brings me comfort is that when you give birth you are never the same but it is in a very good way that you are for-ever changed.
Your body becomes a vessel for another human being, another life is actually growing inside of my body, this I say is totally amazing. One thing us women have over men, is the transforming of our bodies into a life giving instrument for a baby, a gift from God it truly is and we are strengthened in ways of unbelief to endure pain, and at the same time we are recieving a beatiful expression of love.
Once a woman now a mother, the journey has begun and what a ride it will be for the rest of my life, and I can hardly wait. With joy in my heart, love all around me, I am ready for the transformation to begin that will have many ups and downs, but that's alright for now I am a Mother and ready, set, and go.

fresh moments

Everyone should be given the chance to be new every minute,
Not labeled, limited and listed in catalogued classification.
Foolish words uttered yesterday are unsaid by the setting sun,
washed away by the new moon tides: fresh thoughts have already begun.
Release me from patterned opinion, let me be new; and i'll tear up the stagnant records i kept about you.
Everyone should be given the chance to be born again minute by minute,
The world isnt standing still nor anything in it.........
