My life

I'm worn down fourty hours at a jog I hate
My life is unwinding its just to late
Its hard to keep goin I just want to stop
I'm at the bottom I cant't see the top
I'm slowly dieing my soul is crushed
I keep yelling but my voice is hushed
I want to be you butI'm stuck as me
I need to get away but its insanity
You see me here but I'm already dead
I can't take it backits the life I've led

Went to a garden party

Went to a garden party but found no one was there
Got another invitation but no one told me where
And so I went down to the local to drink another night away
And then I received another invitation
That I should have got yesterday.
Well that night I had one too many
And could not see straight ahead
And when I awoke that very next morning
I was in another bed
But there was no one there to hold me
Or to even make my whole heart beat
And so although I must have been invited
My whole world was still not complete
Well I left that bed at mid day with no one else within sight
And although I should have left a little note
I wasn't quite sure just what to write
And on walking down that empty street
I just thought what will I now do
And then I got another invitation though I just don't know from who.
Well that night I had another drink or two
To help see me through the night
And then again I read that invitation
But my name was not within sight
And although I could have went along to wherever it may be
It was not wrote down where I should go
And so they won't be expecting me
Yes I went to a garden party but no one else was there
And then I got another invitation but no one told me where
And so I went down to the local to drink another night away
And then I received another invitation that I should have got yesterday.

About this poem:
Wrote it when alone and single, hoping for something good to happen, like going out for a drink or two.
Still single after another wrong relationship, but its another poem to write, and i still wish her the best.
Looking for composer to add music, but cannot pay,so it would be 50/50 if poem/lyric made money, but its the satisfaction of being successful thats more important to me.

Restless Moment

I envy that one restless moment
The lulling muse of that instant
Vanished in that ephemeral dream
Countless eternities past it seems
A sweet whisper mourned by lavender tears
An embrace warm and willing culls my fear
Chasing that memory
I'll search till it ends me
Give chase my Gemini
Sweet and mutable butterfly
This cold Aquarius must protest
The power of his mind during rest

About this poem:
I dreamed a sweet dream of a Gemini one night. For a brief moment we held each other and I whispered forgotten words to her. The dream ended and now I'm stuck in reality without her.

Know way

I once knew you
Without a clue
You know I knew about the few
Those you hurt around and through the years
Just because they knew your foolish fears
You whom I once knew

Why..

Why we forgot to love sincere?
Why we forgot to enjoy by little things
In this society our souls are stolen
By worries and money and pleasures of body.

Why we forgot to be romantic?
To not afraid to show some feelings
Why we forgot to look in mirror
And to be ourselves without mask
Or double personality.

Why we forgot this life is short
And when we pass away ,we don't take
Nothing with us ,we just go how we came
But we can take with us one thing
Our memory of the nice feelings
If we lived them intensly here.

dreams

dreams are like flowers
every one like dreams
some dreams are beautifull
some of them are bad as
flowers with bad smell
some dreams are liked to be long
and others are short.
but every one need dreams
and as they need flowers.

A Life

Barely three with a gentle heart,
always wants to play her part,
an apple fallen from the tree,
always awaits what life can be.

Seven now and real tears come,
life is still simple in the home,
but away the evil babes do wait,
hoping she will take their bate.

Eleven and the eye sees clear,
no more days of silly fear,
the babes still flock but only by day,
to her parents she cant come to say.

Now fifteen and all hell falls,
she ignores the taunting boys who call,
sitting quiet unlike the rest,
holding her pain in her breast.

Sixteen and oh what can be done,
She doesn't know now where to run,
Sitting waiting to be found,
They approach without a sound.

Seventeen, and all is quiet,
There is no mention, no riot.
The babes are leaving, going far away.
She cant find words now left to say.

Eighteen, the year now of present,
Something has come, something pleasant.
She is still quiet but her eyes are open,
No more words need be spoken.

She is a girl, like any other.
Nothing special other than she came from her mother.
But still she finds care in a man,
And if her mind opens, then surely she can.

Something so sweet is in his word,
with gentle phrase she is fully assured,
he holds her hope with gentle hands,
If only, they were not separated by lands.

But still she smiles, she knows all is well,
because no longer is she living in hell,
no now she has known something new,
Something she knows, only experienced by few.

Thomas Hardy, And I am A Simple Poet

Thomas Hardy, And I am A Simple Poet

I have read Thomas Hardy though only just the once
for fear that his style my style it would ensconse.

His strong long length suffers, not at all for me
for upon his lengthed pages his sadness I can see.

I must write 400 poems, 300 will never do
because Hardy has 200, to cut my size in two.

It's just to do more than he that spurs me on to try
though I fear my content would make poor Thomas cry.

You see my words are very simple, I am a simple poet
with no formal education, I simply did not grow it.

But surely in this genre it's nice to have some fun
so tell me, does this simple poem count as number one?

There Were Dragons

By Matthew "Dra'Gon" Stohler

Can you tell me where the dragons are?
Who once flew the skies so free?
Over mountain and sea, forest and plain,
Of such have I witnessed in my dreams.

But others came who required more,
Poisoned the clear blue skies,
Plowed through mountain, depleting sea,
Removed forest, built upon plain.

Endanger those which have no voice.
Destroy that which is in the way.
We have thrown away the simple life,
To build for ourselves monuments to us.

But what is next if we lose what's left?
How to make up for that lost time?
And the question which I must ask:
Where have all the dragons gone?

to all the players

Your words are appealing,
yet they hold no feeling.
Your eyes are daring,
but i see no caring.
Your charm is fading,
yet your still persuading.
your love is lustful,
therefore, you are distrustful.

Don't be ahating,
because i am awaiting.
For the one,
that will be my sun.
