I Miss You

Oh what have I done?
What did I do that was so bad?
I miss you, my special one.
For days and days I have been so sad.
I feel it is not fair.
I know you must still care.
Wish I knew what was wrong.
Baby I just want us to get along.
I want you, I need you!
Don't you want me too?
I want you back, you are mine!
Then I will feel just fine.
I don't understand this at all,
Especially when you never call.
Without you I am so blue.
Baby I want you, I need you !

About this poem:
We were on the phone one afternoon and then we got cut off. (cell phones are so wonderful haha) His cell phone was not working. I tried to call back but got no where. That was our last conversation for 5 days. I had no idea what was wrong. The next day he became very ill with food poisoning and was in bed for a week. He was too sick to call me or leave a message in here. So of course I thought he dumped me. Then on the 6th night he left me a message. It figures when he was able to call I wasn't home. He called me the next day and told me how sick he had been. And everything is fine between us!!!!!!!! Soooooo Don't ever assume anything!!!!!!!!!

In Your Arms

I love laying in your arms,
As our bodies set off many alarms.
Cuddling all night long,
As my feelings grow so strong.
Looking at you , so happy and content
Wondering where all the time went.
I have been lonely for so long.
With you is where I belong!

The Torture of Knowledge

Be careful what you wish for.

Be sure that the jump
is worth the agony
you may feel
when you land.

Life has a way
of pummeling you
in the face.

Like a beautiful dream
that's gone forever
with the dreadful sound
of your alarm.

A radiant dream
disguised as the nightmare
of what you thought
life held for you.

To see so lucidly,
the importance
of pure and simple things.

You won't find contentment
in a bank account,
or the finest house on the block.

Look to the grown up dreams
of a little girl,
and the childhood dreams
of a grown up woman.

Our most cherished dreams
are one in the same.

Never take the straightest path,
never jump without looking.

Hang onto your dreams,
and never let go.

A lesson learned,
a little too late.

The jump may not kill you,
but your ownership in the decision,
will haunt you forever.

About this poem:
I wrote this after my divorce from my boys father, when I felt as though I had made a terrible mistake by leaving and breaking up my family. Years later now, I have let go of that guilt and I realize that I did do the right thing after all.

Love..

Love is like a rose with thorns
If u are not attentive the thorns
Will hurt u heart ,so much,
That u will blood in u heart.

Love is like a sunshines who appears
In u life ,make u hope and smile
But can be also like a cloud who brings
Rain and storm in u life and makes u suffer.

The kiss

We sit quietly on my bed staring into each others eyes. She smiles and i smile back. Things seem to slow down as I swipe the hair out of her eyes and move in a little closer. She smiles as we touch cheeks putting my lips next to her ear.

"I love you." I whisper and kiss the side of her neck gently.

She giggles a little and runs her fingers through my hair as i kiss her neck again this time biting it a little, but not very hard.

Running her fingers through my hair she pushes my head back so we are looking at each other again. She is smiling. Her eyes the most amaizing shade of emerald green. She didn't have to say it but i knew she loved me.

She blinked and I closed my eyes and kissed her softly. Our lips just pressing hard enough to pass extacy between us. The moment was beautiful. A moment that i never wanted to stop.

I placed one hand on her waist and ran the other through her hair opening my mouth as she opened hers. My lower lip between hers, her tounge flicking my lip ring back and forth.

She put a hand on mine and the other on my ribs pulling me closer. Our kiss deepening. My eyes were shut and yet i was watching everything going on overhead.

We broke the kiss and stared at each smiling. Her hair fell back over her eye and she giggled. I just smiled.

Puppets Stage

I saw him walking on the wall,
The brick was chipped with age.
As he walked I thought he’d fall,
But no it was his stage.

He so did spin as light as air,
His eyes were the stars.
His hair I thought a lovers pair,
My sight caught slowing cars.

He then so bent lithe then still,
His hand held out for mine.
I took it and so the air did chill,
He found my heart so fine.

Each foot on edge a sweeter note,
My bag lay far behind.
I found the chill did not dote,
But was gone id be soon to find.

And so we danced our thoughts did reel,
The silence was our applause.
Soon the bell would ring on till,
We would find our hearts did pause.

Not a beat to give a word,
There’s only quiet as we fall down.
A crack our final word so slurred,
We as lovers lay on the ground.

But no worse fate shall come to us,
We have found our hearts content.
And so we lay among the muss,
We puppets our souls did once rent.

Our Song

I see you sitting by the shore,
Your lullaby rings in my ears.
I knew our love was ever more,
But still you saw my tears.

You coddled me with plea and silk,
I sang our song in turn.
I found you to be a strange ilk,
I took my chance to learn.

We walked along until sea’s end,
And turned on tip and toe.
We smile once and then we bend,
My memories faint are so.

So sweet our love we hope to keep,
Like bird sweet to ear and sight.
We thought our love would surely reap,
Like a lovers special rite.

We walk around in circle clear,
The elements bless our accord,
Sweet to smell the sage does sear,
Any consequence we find we afford.

Our song is soon bound to soul,
Your lullaby is our duet,
As years go on our times will toll,
Just like Russian roulette,

Year seventy is the first shot,
That bug held my heart,
Seventy-five is the slot,
Where I read your surgery chart.

But soon we hear those faithful bells,
Of course right before the bang,
We will hear the cleric tell,
But I only heard what you sang.

About this poem:
I felt sad when I wrote this, because in reality, eventually, we all die and leave loved ones behind. But I was happy too, because being with someone to the very end, may make life so happy, that when you die its just another thing you share with that someone. So really, death doesn't have to be a sad thing. At least I don't believe so.

Raindrops

Even raindrops find the grey sky depressing so they often run away and fall down to earth where they form gangs on the pavement like home torn youths, menacing enough to make people walk round them to avoid confrontation and the wetting of shoes.
It takes a blue sky for the raindrops to rid themselves of the reds so they can go back home and form white fluffy clouds looking down at us in whatever shape they fancy until the next time the sky turns grey and the raindrops get pissed off with life enough to once again ruin my day.

Fugitive

Run lady run,
Run for your life,
They're chasing you,
With spears and knives.

I saw you through,
The pain you endure,
Silently; too proud to show.

Educated are you,
Rational left you,
Emotions caught you,
For the sake of two.

Woman of culture,
Society is pain,
What others think matter,
You feel shame.

You hung on to a marriage,
That you knew wouldn't survive,
But tried so hard to keep it,
To be a good wife.

He was not worth it,
The world knew,
But . . .
You gave him chances,
He threw.

Now you're standing on the ledge,
Leap no,
Stay no,
Sleep no,
Rest no,
Work no,
There is nothing left, Oh No!

Family in ruin,
Friends in vain,
Children in longing,
Wishing you came.

No freedom art thou,
Conceal thy face,
Lest anyone lurk around,
Would recognize thy pace.

Run lady, run lady,
Flee for your life,
For someone's sin,
You sacrifice!

About this poem:
This poem is about my colleague who is now a fugitive. She has two toddlers. Her worthless husband who is too lazy to work had forged her signature and taken many loans from individuals. He had fled as he is unable to pay and left his wife as a ransom for his blood suckers.

Two sides of the coin

Two sides of the coin

Must look forward not look back?
But from the past I can learn
Run so fast to lead the pack
Take my time wait my turn
Be ruthless and stash the money that I can stack
Take the time to smell the rose and see the fern
Grab the toys that others lack
To seek the love that I yearn
Any in front I will attack
When I die I won’t burn
