for every tree that sheds its leaves.
for every fire that burns its lot.
for every lightning bolt that ripes though the sky, a drop of rain will surelly pass us by.
only not in vain or in sorrow the darken skies shall weep, only to nurish a seed, a tree has sown beneth our very feet.
then once again the sun will shine and the birds will sing.
rejoicing the gift of life that every new day may bring.

To A Critic
When a critic read my writing
his retort was somewhat dry.
“Why thirty years of waiting
before you made your try?”
His comment made me wonder
can I really be too old?
Will history go asunder
if English I now unfold?
Is poetry not an ageless thing
like man himself, is he?
As a daffodil in the Spring
and the summer it can see?
Am I wrong to write my verse
though I do admit, I age.
Should I get a response so terse
I still can feel the rage?
I rest my case upon you now
and hope you feel the shame.
I leave you with a sacred vow,
someday you’ll know my name!
No explanation will I give
to critics of any kind.
All I ask is “Let me live
to write what’s in my mind!”

My Heart was given to your care
for you to love
for me to share my loyality and devotion to you alone
trust was given love was shown
The fragility of an open heart
searching and hoping never to part
from the heart they offer the most precious gift to
Wishing for in return that trust was shared
Is trust the hardest gift of all
Is lack of trust where love does fail and fall

Cold Turkey Mornings
I walk in the shadow of the man I would be
trying to arrange my jigsaw world, as did he.
My drunken fire consumed my old life before
now I ask myself for more, can there be more?
Is there anything from my past life I can save
can I recapture friendships lost upon my wave?
Shivering dryness as I try to be myself again,
can I rekindle the passion my heart felt then?
The periodic near sanity comes on more often
but my cold turkey mornings still never soften!
Through my mind my thoughts stumble and grope
yet I hope upon hope, there must always be hope!

finding true love is a task
but if you dont ever ask
you will never come to find
it will always play your mind
just have courage and be strong
you never know it wont be long
so just get out there try your luck
dont be one to hide and duck
just be honest and be true
the door will open to something new

Hold me love me and need me
And then dream this world that I now know
That's all she now whispered
As so all alone she walked each night
And then let every tear to appear constantly
Become a dream of how it used to be
And then until forever let there appear a true love within sight
For still every thing that I try to do
It just won't take away those lonely blues
While all of this hurting it just keeps on hurting so deep inside
So now let there be-let there be
That one true love that I really need
For without all that love it's now a certainty that I will cry
So please love me hold me and need me
And then dream this world that I now know
And then take me on to where I will surely find a better love
For now for far too long
My whole world it's just turned out wrong
Without that someone within my heart to now think of
And so please let there be- yes let there be
That one true love that I really need
For only then that I can push away all that hurt
That I still feel so deep inside
So please let there be yes let there be
That one true love that I really need
For without all that love it's now a certainty that I will cry.

If mind is not still to work
And love awakens through mind
Come to find me.
Or if thoughts fly alike a blue bird
And body desires something expected
Or heartbeat intensifies more
Please O please never get pains
Go out from home to find me.

I THOUGHT of your beauty!
Made out of passion thought!
Is in my bosom.
O my dear, O my sociable dear- I know
more than another!
You look smart and noble,
And with your smooth face and bosom
Delicate in color as ice blossom.
If once meet you! Surprised!
But after save by an evil chance
Call me first through the gate
After a while, the folk there spy me
You'll say-' My friend, Only my friend'
Comes from Bangladesh.

Angel has been burned.
Falling with smoking wings.
Earthbound she is spurned.
On and on till it stings.
Heaven forgets her face.
As she crashes into ground.
With outstretched arms knowing,
She'll never be found.
And yet,
No one cries for her.
No one sees her pain.
No one comes,
To pull her out,
No one extinguishes the flame.
No one hears her pleas.
Nothing to sustain.
No one stops the screaming,
Of an angels shame.
Burning feathers catch the breeze,
Like fireflies from hell.
Littered across the spot,
Where an angel once fell.
The earth's flesh split,
To receive the unearthly gift.
Pulled deep into her bosom,
In absence of heavenly lift.
And yet,
No one cries for her.
Only I see her pain.
No one comes,
To pull her out,
No one extinguishes the flame.
No one hears her pleas.
No one to sustain.
Nothing stops the screaming,
Of an angels shame.
