No matter what I do,
My thoughts are always on you.
Thinking of your embrace,
Keeps a smile on my face.
Your soft warm touch,
I want so much.
Your lips on mine,
Feel so fine.
We have so much to share.

I am a Rose
A beautiful fragrant rose
Kiss my tender petals
Inhale my fragrance
Suck my nectar
But don’t trample my heart
Because,
Then…
My tears will be a flood
That will flow drowning you
My sigh will be a storm
That will blow crushing you
My thorns will pierce your heart
Till you beg my sympathy
Kneeling down in front of me

I'm safe wrapped in your arms
Through the feeling of your embrace
We've got each others back

Running through the mist
We hold each others hand
Always seeking the truth
In dangerous land
And I know no matter what
Even when we're near death
We'll always be together

About this poem:
This was inspired by my boyfriend. :P It's really lovey-dovey, it references the "souls" but I used the word, not out of religious belief, but out of lack to describe it as anything else that better fits the description of how it seems. lol! Hope you guys like it better than my last one... :Olet me hold you
i see the tears running down
your face,
i see the mess he left all over
the place.
i'm not here to lecture or to
scold you,
i'm here for you,so let me
hold you.
now the grass has turned brown
on the other side,
and you wonder how you could have
gotten taken for a ride.
i'm not here to lecture or to
scold you,
i'm here for you,so let me
hold you.
i can replace those tears with a
smile,
and i won't leave you,i'll stay for
quite awhile.
you want a love that you can count
on,
you want someone you can always
depend on.
that person is me,if i can be so
bold,

As dusk becomes the night I see the shadow of your smile,
That little curve of your lips shows that sweet and tender style.
When the tensions of the day bring rumble to my head,
I stop to ponder for a moment hearing words you said.
Everyday is a new beginning, so don't despair and fall.
Keep that face smiling, stand up straight and tall.
I don't know how you do it as you sparkle every day,
That helping hand is always there in a special way.
I feel so content in life as I walk that sacred mile,
It's all because of you and the shadow of your smile.

In ContradictionOf Man
In Contradiction Of Man
Here bigins a philosophical story
of a man with an irritating itch,
And the guilty flea declared in glory
"Your human blood I find so rich!"
The man laughed at the tiny flea
then bellowed in a taunting voice,
"I won't have your type feed on me
to exterminate I have no choice!"
The man used powders and a spray
while trying to kill the tiny flea,
Muttering to himself along the way
"No insect's as clever as me!"
The chemicals he used were the best
they even carried a guarantee,
'To rid your home of every known pest
especially the bloodsucking flea!'
Weeks passed with the flea still alive
then the man could be heard to say,
"How could this little beastie survive
when I feel so ill this day?"
For the man suffered a chemical reaction
not mentioned within the guarantee,
'If feeling an itch from a skin irritation
don't use toxins to kill the flea!'
Yet who in creation would have believed
and who on earth could foresee,
That such a tragedy might be conceived
his demise came because of a flea!
In his last gasp the man forgave the flea
on feeling no itch upon his skin,
Then before his death rattle was set free
it released his spirit from within!
As his soul drifted towards heaven that day
the man in death at last could see,
That God had acted in a mysterious way
when selecting a man before a flea!

About this poem:
We met in connecting singles. Our profiles were a perfect match and we connected totally. But before all this, we were thinking about the 85 miles between us and thought no way! So we keep emailing thinking we can be friends. Well then we talked on the phone. The more we talked the more interested we became in each other and learned we have many more things in common. We had both been praying for the right person to come along but had never told each other. He had been wanting someone in his area . Then I had clicked on do we connect and it was perfect and I shared this with him. Then we shared how we had been praying for someone.
