Heres something im sure some of you would really enjoy.....Its too bad we couldnt have it where you could say anything you want...you could curse...You could insult someone ..do what you want!!...That id say would have just about everyone on the blogs ..either watching from the shadows of the subject or jumoping right in....Im sure id have gotten told off already ..Imagine not having to watch what sat...and you couldny get thrown off....There would be a lot of people eating popcorn for sure.....No holds barred!!!..that would be just great!!!.......

Who remembers the 80s with the big hair and uhggg...shoulder pads? Do you have pics like I do where your hair didn't fit in the whole shot? How about the neon colors?lol

What are some of your favorite styles, music and memories of the 80s? and why?

He walks in and out of my life, this mystery man... what else shall I call him? Tall dark and handsome business man, with a deep Arabic accent...yes, he is from Egypt. So very smart and charming. Treats me like his queen when we're together.....be it alone or in public with friends. He never hides me, rather takes pride in being by my side. Says, "I don't want to leave you alone" ....He's always so full of surprises, thinking up new ways to make me smile. The passion is unforgettable, assertive, inevitable. He never fails to make me laugh with our little inside jokes. He has captured my heart in such a way, I never thought possible. ....I just want him by my side.

But when he's not with me, he remains distant. Days, sometimes weeks go by...no communication, no texts, no calls, nothing. He says it's his work that keeps him busy....and his dedicated workouts at the gym. I have never visited his home....is there someone else?

Other men, possibly wonderful people have taken interest in me, but I've pushed them away, isolated myself. Couldn't stray if I tried. Days go by, I'm left with nothing but a mere memory of our last encounter. Saddened because he has left me alone.... weeks go by...I hear his voice, the butterflies are in my stomach all over again....of course I'm just overjoyed because I can see his sweet face again...but every time he returns, I know, deep down, it's only for a little while....until he's gone again, without a trace. I want to tell him I love him, but for some mysterious reason....I don't think it will ever happen.

This morning watched on the news how some people in Roquetas del Mar , a small town in the south of Spain had the luck in 2 weeks to win important prizes of Lotto. The first on the 22nd of Dec " loteria de Navidad" where each ticket was prized with 800 000 euros and on the 5th of Jan " loteria del niño" with 400 000 each one.
There was a woman who had bought both winning numbers and seems to have happened to a few more. To get the 1st prizes in such a short period of time is so rare. They are very lucky.
But this made me think, about how lucky some people are.
I dont consider myself unlucky but something like this has never happened to me.
Wouldnt it be nice to be thinking right now what I would do with 1.2 million euros

I stem from a family of great writers. It runs thick in our blood. Actually, we have ink in our veins. It all started with my father.

He wrote bank checks that no bank honored, my mother wrote recipes that nobody tried; my brother wrote novels that nobody published, my sister wrote poems that nobody recited and I write blogs that nobody reads.

I must be the black sheep on the family. Maybe I should try graffiti; at least the people read that. Even if they pretend not to.

What we write in our blogs reveals our souls and it exposes us to the bone in the process. What we say and how we say it is the most obvious telltales of our personalities, but what we don’t say, can give away just as much. People read between the lines because every blogger has a distinctive undertone in all his or her blogs, be that goodwill, humor, loneliness, skepticism, scorn, bitterness, malice, or whatever. That undertone seldom deviates from the person.

Comment posters are not exempted from this. In fact, they are even more vulnerable to it, because comments are more spontaneous in nature than blogs. They come out at the spur of the moment whereas we plan our blogs and have plenty of time to sanitize them before posting it.

Reading comments is interesting and tells us a lot about the author, but when you look a bit deeper, a more interesting pattern unfolds. Try to see who ignores whom, who comments on whose blogs, and note the nature of those comments to the different bloggers, and you can easily see who sleeps with whom.

In real life, we avoid the people we don’t like. Why can’t we do it here? Of course, we may disagree with another person’s view on a topic and we are free to state such disagreement, but why do we have to criticize the person? Is he or she not entitled to certain a view same as we are? Do we have to take it to a personal level?

It is not enough to state our disagreement and scoot off. We have to add a bit of acid to it. Perhaps we all have a bit of a troll in us, only closer to the surface with some than with others.

Every time I have houseguests (and I love to have houseguests) I realize what a lazy housewife I am the rest of the time. By the time the guests arrive I have housemaid's knee, tennis elbow, and want to sleep for a week.

I’m looking for a specific kind of vehicle, and suddenly noticed a certain familiarity about my list. See if you can spot it.

Not too young - they’re too expensive.
Not too old - they’re too high maintenance
Number of owners - lots is a definite eyebrow-raiser
Fuel consumption - how heavy a drinker?
Performance when the going is tough
Comfort - definitely important
Looks - don't mind a bit tatty or dented, but not rusty

And I wouldn’t really want a vehicle which coughed, spluttered and emitted clouds of smoke when started up on a cold morning.

Yup. Very like a singles checklist

At least with vehicles I can check them on DVLA (our vehicle website) and see when they last had a roadworthy test. One possible turned out to be 10 years older than the ad said, and had 100K more on the clock. That’s a bit familiar too

Any advice? On vehicles, I mean, but all the funnier if they relate to singles too
