I mean, how could you really?

The typical American has an 8 hour a day job and sleeps 8 hours a day. That is 16 hours, leaving 8 hours a day for you to be you.

Okay, to bath and eat in a day most likely takes an hour.

So now down to 7 hours in a day for you to be you.

Typically, there are home chores work to take care of, organizing, repairing, cleaning, taking the garbage out...even with a spouse at home...there is usually something or the other person to take care of. Let us guess another hour for the odds and ends things.

Now we are down to 6 hours in a day.

I am not sure how long the average American spends watching television...is it 2 hours a day or 4? Okay, I am going to consider it 3 hours...watching mindless crap and not allowing us to explore who we really are.

Now at this time we are down to 3 hours a day.

Do you chat with friends and family a bit during your day? Do you go to the bar and have a couple of beers? Do you have to run to the store for some groceries? What other loose ends need to be done? People are usually busy doing something it seems. Okay, let us consider this part of the day an hour.

Now, there are just 2 hours left in the day for you to be you.

How many people even contemplate a bit of who they are...and then put it into practice?
Many people allow their jobs to define who they are. But, are they really that person? Didn't a company just define who you are and not yourself?

What about children...do you have any...does that not take up any part of your time?

Who are you?

Sheep?

Nobody?

Do you know?

You are all valued, all beautiful and even though we men dont often show it, we appreciate you.

So for the men here, lets show a bit of love and affection towards our fabulous women.

I've been on CS for around a year now. The reason I'm here is that I want to meet English speaking people.
Living in Spain and in the area I do, there aren't many around. I know that in Spain there are quite a few and its been easy to talk to them on here. I also have been chatting with people in other countries. If I did fall in love, I wouldn't mind relocating to another country.

How many of you would relocate for love?
You really think its possible to find and fall in love on CS?

Ok, I’m back in the market, but not just anyone will do. I’m looking for a very special girl. The properties I’m looking for are very hard to find. My high standards will not allow me to settle for anybody less.

I want somebody who has seen the bad side of life as well. She has to be young, beautiful, and orphaned, living in a refugee camp, somewhere in Central or West Africa, outside of her own war torn country, and coming from a very prominent political family in her original country. If her late father was a political leader or an industrialist and held a doctor’s degree, honorary or self awarded, it will be an added bonus.

However, an offshore banking account in London, boasting at least 6.5 million US Dollars, is a prerequisite, even if there are some logistic problems in securing the money. I will gladly supply my bank account and pin number in order to facilitate the transfer of money to my country. Preference shall be given to the candidate with the most money, unless if she is very ugly. But even then, it will be weighed up against her cash reserves. Money talks loudest.

I can fully anticipate that she will be in a great hurry to expedite this for I know and understand that her greedy uncles and cousins will also be trying to lay their hands on what is rightfully hers. For all we know, they may have been instrumental in the demise of her parents. I shall protect her against her conniving family.

I'm fully prepared to send to her the money for a passport, airfare, and any other incidental expenses, providing that we work through a reliable and trusted intermediary, maybe the preacher man that we find in every refugee camp. If we cannot trust him, whom else can we trust?

No, this is not about the money; I really do love her. I know she will have a wonderful personality even though her English grammar is not that polished. After all, she speaks French. The problem is that I don’t know where to find such a girl. If any of you happen to come across somebody in this position, please refer her to me. I will forever be in your debt.


Oh, if you find her, don’t keep her to yourself. My happiness depends on her.

Elephants are incredibly intelligent. They have very large brains. Even when scaled down to size, they have brains much larger than most other mammals. They have created some of the most complicated social structures in the animal kingdom.

One indication of intelligence is altruism; that is the self sacrifice for the good of the whole herd. Elephants are famous for their altruism in protecting their young, and this is only one of the many characteristics that make them amazingly intelligent.

Elephants have been known to medicate themselves when sick by chewing the leaves of specific trees depending on their illness. They also bury their dead in a ceremonial way; the only other species on Earth to do so besides humans.

They are known to get drunk on occasion. They will ignore marula fruits on the ground, opting to eat those off the tree until there is enough of the fermented fruit on the ground and will then eat the whole lot to leave them staggering around. It is not unusual for them to uproot young trees and telegraph poles in this condition. A very human trait; is it not?

Elephants are very playful, which helps them to develop dexterity and special reasoning. Their nimble trunks can be used to manipulate tools, including paintbrushes, which elephants have been trained to use in creating remarkable pieces of art. Circus elephants are known to take a sugar cube out of their trainers’ pockets without breaking it.

They can recognize themselves in mirrors, and, when marked, can immediately see something new has been added to their appearance. To have enough self awareness to recognize a reflection as being the self is the sign of true intelligence. Elephants do look at themselves in a pool of water before drinking. I suppose if they could socialize on marulas then they could be vain as humans as well.

Another strange thing about the elephant is the internal testicles. It is not external as with other mammals. I guess nobody is going to kick him in the balls.

Man by nature is competitive. In every field whether in sports, career, love or any endeavor.

Today, the most evident proof of man's craving for competition is towards the rule of military- political and economic supremacy of the world. History proves that this is the best test laid out challenge promoting the continued and endless effort to man's voracious urge to compete.

We are born to compete, even unto ourselves. Sometimes our goals are directly set in order to prove that we are indeed capable in achieving beyond our established norms.

There are two major need for competition set by nature for man. The need to survive and the need to rule.

I am very inclined to elaborate and discuss more on the latter as the progressive mark of our society is etched on the very road for the need to rule.

Evidently our world is getting on the verge of once again, testing who gets the most effective weapon for destruction and annihilation. After reading all the articles on the very nature of man's crucial effort to survival, I was amazed at the new discovery that Science today is the ultimate road to test our human ability for competitive struggles. The biggest expected reward is the result of supremacy as the most adept will rule the world. Mostly weapons of mass destruction. Very rife for testing.

But the truth of the matter is that all of us, know one way or the other the simple yet factual nature of our need to compete. We see it in our family, our children and our friends. But on this blog, I would love to hear your opinions on this regarding the new wave of GLOBAL RIFT going on in the world.

If you think that we are not on the verge of this big battle for supremacy, why so?

Just how far do we go to protect ourselves from severe bodily injury and or murder? Specially if it happens in your own domicile?

This question come to mind as I am reading the dominant news on the fatal shooting of two teenagers that burglarized the 65 year old peaceful man from Little Falls Minnesota.

Facts: Thanksgiving day, 2012, two teenagers, an 18 year woman and a 17 year old boy burglarized a home of a 65 year old retiree in his home for the second time. These kids were later found to have been responsible in many such acts from the same place.

The homeowner claimed he was so terrorized by such burglars after he found out that one of his gun was stolen on the last one. These kids were found to be responsible on the same acts in the same town for so many times. Why they were not in jail? Beats the hell out of me.

This time he was more vigilant and armed himself ready for his defense if it happens again. And it did.

Verdict: Guilty. Was it justified for the man to kill those young kids? What would you have done?
