Can it work?
Long distance relationships are problematic and demand a lot of sacrifice; to say the least. It brings about many logistic problems. Visiting each other is fun, but once the romances had been sorted out, the real problems start; for such a relationship would require for at least one party to relocate.
If the two parties live in the same country it is not too bad, but if they live in different countries it brings even more hurdles to overcome. Of which fiscal control is not nearly the least. One does not easily leave your life’s savings behind.
This can be further complicated by differences in culture, religion, tradition, careers and so many other things. Bear in mind that, because of the geography, the parties involved cannot know each other too well either.
Racial differences should not make it worse, but certainly do not make it easier either and serves very well to underline most the other issues. While one can change of religion, adapt to new culture, adopt new traditions and carve new careers, you cannot change your race. Not even with an operation. You will die being what you were born as.
And then I did not even talk about the tension, embarrassment and uneasiness that family, friends and strangers alike can bring about with their prejudice.
They say where there is a will there is a way. But is there a way to sort all these difficulties? It is easy to say one must reach a compromise, but compromise requires sacrifice. And one must be satisfied and contented with your sacrifice.
And then I ask myself; can it really work? Can love alone overcome all; or does it need a little help?

A Six Or A Nix
If the anticipation is really better than the act then I guess there will always be another mountain to climb. So now that I have bowled my Maiden Over I want to hit her for a six as well. 
I will have to take strike on Middle and Leg. This maiden bowls a very fast in-swinger Around The Wicket that is very hard to get away if you are a bit late on the shot. She surely knows how to place her field. Hitting a six here is going to be risky for she has me well covered at Point. If it is wide I can try a Late Cut but I’m bound to be caught by the Third Man if I don’t get hold of her properly.
She has a very Fine Leg that keeps me looking over my left shoulder and she keeps moving her Long Leg to distract my attention. With that Silly Short On she makes things no easier for me while her Silly Point only complicates matters. The Sweeper on the Boundary is just to remind me of what awaits if I should dare to Drive over the In Field.
My only hope to hit a six here is if she strays a bit onto my legs so I can get down onto my right knee to tickle the ball over that unguarded area just in Front of Square on the Leg Side. What will it be; a six or a nix?
She stands there, ball in her hand, with that ‘You just dare to hit me’ expression in her eyes.
Every few minutes yet another female streaks across the field winking an eye at her, upsetting my blood pressure and hormone balance.
I’m sure she put them up to do it.
To top it all, whenever I try to Take Strike somebody walks across the Sight Screen; taking my concentration away. These are all her doings.
Cricket can be such an interesting game.

Going through some recent antiques I acquired, I was flipping through a magazine from February 1890, named Demorest's Family Magazine. It is mostly a fashion type magazine. What caught my attention was an article named A Voyage Through Space. I was sort of curious what they thought back then about space and read through it.
I thought it was kinda funny about the planet Venus. They mention that the ancient people knew it as "Dawnbringer" (in Latin, Lucifer). Is that why women are suppose to be from Venus?
Anyway, I got on to the information about Mars. They mention with the telescopes they have (during the late 1800's), Mars was the planet they had the most detailed information about its surface.
I am going to highlight some of the interesting things it says in this article about Mars:
They say, besides the moon, Mars is the only heavenly body that the surface has been mapped.
Surface is covered with lighter and darker spots, some spots are unchanging, and are solid and definitely parts of Mar's surface. Others alter and vary considerably and therefore must be the nature of clouds.
We can with safety aver that Mars, like earth, contains seas, continents, and islands, as well as an atmosphere containing water vapor in the shape of clouds.
The changes of seasons, and especially the variableness of the snow and ice at the poles of Mars, can be watched by astronomers.
At both poles of the planet are two white, shining spots of which usually only one is visible at a time. These poles do change with the seasons. (winter they grow bigger, summer they melt and get smaller)
Thus, we know there is snow and ice on Mars and clouds arise from it clearly seen.
It has long been known that continents, seas,and rivers compose Mar's surface.
On Mars, there are many conditions for life as we know it, and we have therefore some reason to suppose that there are beings similar to ourselves.
In last few years, Italian astronomer Schiaparelli...provided a drawing of Mar's surface showing: dark bodies of water, and brighter continents.
On Mars, continents are separated by narrow bodies of water.
A strange discovery by Schiaparelli shows the water canals double...each canal is precisely similar to each other...running parallel. This is seen depending on the season and remains an enigma.

Nobody in there right mind would starve a dog or cat to death by cutting off it's food supply, but now by law it's fine to do it to a human being

The Director-General of Health, Graça Freitas, compared the appearance of the new coronavirus subtype, Covid-19, to the outbreak of a common flu, saying that the Directorate-General for Health would be working withwith a scenario identical to that which existed in 2009, when influenza A – also known as Influenza A / H1N1. The pandemic took less than a month to arrive in Portugal and caused 122 deaths in the country, with 166,922 cases registered until August 2010 – when the end of the pandemic was declared.
The data say, however, that the new type of coronavirus is not only a disease that spreads faster than common flu or influenza A, but is also a more lethal virus.
Three times more viral than a common flu
A common flu has a transmissibility of 1.3 points, which means that every 10 infected people pass the disease to 13 people. The number is used to measure the potential of an epidemic, translating the degree of reproduction of the disease: the higher the number, the greater the degree of exposure and threat of the disease.
In 2009, the H1N1 pandemic had a transmissibility of 1.5 and could not be contained, with estimates suggesting that 11–21% of the world's population has been infected. Initial studies on the new coronavirus, Covid-19, pointed to a 2-3 point transmissibility, more than double the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, which today is just one of the four types of common flu.
A graph showing the evolution of COVID-19 and H1N1 in its first 31 days shows that three times more cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in relation to influenza A in the first 31 days.
But the latest mathematical model by researchers at Xiamen University in China, published in the scientific journal Infectious Diseases of Poverty points to estimates of transmission of isolated surfaces in humans of 2.3 and 3.58 in person-to-person transmissions – which explains the dizzying rise in the number of cases of infection.
This last number, the most worrying, translates into a transmissibility almost three times greater than a common flu and concerns the introduction of an affected individual in susceptible environments: closed spaces, with a large population or without ventilation. For comparison, common flu infected 20 to 30 million people in the European Union last year.
In comparison with known outbreaks of other coronavirus subtypes, the transmissibility of Covid-19 in environments is greater than that seen in 2012 with the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), from 0.8 to 1.3, but less than that recorded in 2002 with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), 2.9 points.

Is the end near?
Now....I don't know....this is just shear speculation...nothing more. I am writing this as to see what you think and maybe what you can add or disprove.
Back in the late 1990's, I have a very deep and long conversation with an elderly gentleman who believed the end was near us. He said from when the time, in the bible, when the hand wrote on the wall....the writing, the old man told me, was a number. He told me, add that number to the year when the hand wrote it on the wall and you will have the year when everything will end.
In addition, he told me that our whole money system will be reset and we will be forced to accept a number. If a person does not accept that number, it will not be good. For starters, you will not be able to buy or sell. Also, if you do accept it, you are in essence accepting Satan.
Here comes the politics. Trump has claimed that he was going to bankrupt our nation. This would basically reset our whole financial system. If he bankrupts our country, what will he replace money with? What will it do to the world? What will be our new way of buying and selling?
The Anti-Christ is suppose to be a very charismatic person and is said to have the answer for everything...all of the problems we face.
There is technology out there that would allow us to be all individually tracked and with databases, individually monitored.
In the Book of Revelations, it said in the end, the seven trumpets will sound....and there are seven Trumps.
If you look at all the seals each of the trumpets are said to break....it is interesting when you look at today's day.
