A Word I Don’t Grasp Yet.

Where is a woman’s ‘YET’? And what is it? This is a word I often use, but it would now appear that I use it incorrectly all along;blushing if one can believe the newspapers.

I have tried several dictionaries, but the explanations offered do not make any sense to me at all; given the context of the sentence. With me not knowing much about women and English being only a second language to me, I need some help here.professor

I have encountered the word in a newspaper report this morning about a failed attempt to rob a bank in Cape Town. A female police officer was wounded during the shootout with the robbers.

The newspaper reported as follows:
Her condition is stable, but the bullet has not been removed from YET.

So if the bullet is still to be removed from her YET, then I think it is reasonable to assume that she was shot in her YET.grin

If anybody can, please tell me: Where is a woman’s YET? I know for a fact that I do not have a YET.dunno

Friendly greetings all round.

Political correctness gone mad.

Nam's blog about how things used to be has reminded me of how things were in 1950's Britain, back then if the police got even a whiff of two men engaging in any kind of s*xual activity the door would be knocked in & said men dragged off to the cells, now in 2014 we hear of a town in northern England where child abuse has been allowed to continue for 16 odd years because nobody in authority there wanted to risk saying the crimes were being committed by mainly Asian (Pakistani) men, to the point where during a raid for drugs the police unearthed an Asian man in bed with an underage girl & totally ignored it, it is thought this town is not an isolated incident & there are likely to more places where this phenomenon of spineless politicians & senior police officials exist, these said officials main concern now seeming lies with keeping their jobs & have no thoughts whatsoever about the hundreds or thousands of children whose lives have been ruined.

Extracts from link above -
At least 1,400 children were subjected to appalling s*xual exploitation in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013, a report has found.

Children as young as 11 were raped by multiple perpetrators, abducted, trafficked to other cities in England, beaten and intimidated, it said.

The inquiry team found examples of "children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone".

Let’s Face The Facts

Look at this amazing picture. How many faces can you see? I can find none! liar Although I like to sketch with a pen or a pencil, I wish I had the gift to produce sketches of this kind. I think too’ flat’.

A tip. Forget that there is a tree. Look for faces!

Embedded image from another site

I have been in possession of this pic for many years and only recently I discovered another face that I had missed all along.

Do you think you got them all?confused

Nostalgic Memories.

This was my very first blog on CS. It was read by only few people. With the current electricity problems I could not prepare a proper blog.

This is dedicated to all my friends who enjoy a glass of wine…
And those who are always seen with a bottle of purified water in their hand.

As I always say:
In wine there is wisdom,
in beer there is freedom,
but in water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilogram of Escherichia Coli – that is the bacteria that we find in shit. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilogram of shit per year.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine, beer, tequila, rum, whiskey or any other alcoholic beverage, because alcohol has to go through a purification process including, but not limited to, boiling, filtering, evaporation, distillation and fermenting.

Remember then:
uh ohWater is Shit.
wineWine is Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk a little shit,
than to drink water and be full of shit.laugh

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I'm doing it as a public service in the interest of a cleaner and healthier lifestyle.

Enjoy your day.

Return to sender

Seems whilst we've been talking about the return of the ISIS bride this is just the tip of the iceberg wow a tweet from President Trump -
“the caliphate is ready to fall. The United States is asking Britain, France, Germany and other European allies to take back over 800 ISIS fighters that we captured in Syria and put them on trial. “The alternative is not a good one in that we will be forced to release them.”

He then went on to say “The U.S. does not want to watch as these ISIS fighters permeate Europe, which is where they are expected to go. We do so much, and spend so much - Time for others to step up and do the job that they are so capable of doing. We are pulling back after 100% caliphate victory!”

In the west we've got used to putting our rubbish in bins & leaving it to someone else to deal with, looks like we're about to get it back professor

What Men and Women Want…Changes As They Grow Older

This is solely based on my observations. I would welcome any opinion that could clarify and contribute more meaning to my following statements::wink:

Women in their 20s desire men around their age who are good looking, funny, clever and financially stable…the perfect guy.giggle

Men in their 20s desire women who are older, confident, financially stable…a mother figure whom they could get a lot of experiences from.wow

Women in their 30s desire men who are clever, financially stable, not so funny will do, not too good looking will do…stability and security matter most.thumbs up wine

Men in their 30s desire women who are of the same mental, emotional , physical and financial wavelength. She has to be confident , good looking and knows how to carry herself…someone he can be proud of and raise a family…picture perfect marriage love

Women in their 40s will accept men who are less financially stable, less good looking, less funny, less clever but will gladly opt for better option in the offer.conversing

Men in their 40s desire women who are a little bit younger but the “been there, done that” type. She has to be confident, clever, funny, witty , good looking , emotionally and mentally stable….and financially independent. dancing

Women in their 50s plus plus…many will tend to desire men who are much younger, less financially stable but quiet good looking, can be fun, not clever and not educated will do as long as they are young, physically active and gorgeous…but if common sense prevails, many will choose to stay single and enjoy their carefree lifestyle and freedomuh oh hmmm

Men in their 50s+ plus plus…many tend to desire women young enough to be their daughters…hot and sexy will be fantastic, she doesn’t have to be brainy…doesn’t have to work…he will be more than willing to give everything she desires but those who have wisdom and "old enough" to know what’s good for them will opt to find companionship with someone he has a lot in common with.professor cheers

Ok, ok, I know, I know....please don't take me seriously...the above are just my own observations and assumptions: bouquet heart wings

Graduating from CS school

CS really is like a school - all the way from kindergarten to graduation. Okay, an odd one. We have no idea how long we will be here, that first day - a month? Ten years? It takes a while to realize there are no teachers, then even longer to realize we are all teachers. professor

Some do individual tutoring uh oh and some prefer to lecture. roll eyes Some talk bollocks, some talk sense. All of us are teachers and all of us are pupils.

Of course that could be, well, bollocks. JMO.

Basic Human Needs

If a woman is married to an uncommunicative man, she has the choice of talking to herself, not very satisfactory, or else sharing with friends, or even strangers. That is considered acceptable to all. Right?

When a man is married to a nonsexual wife, he has the choice of doing it with himself, not very satisfactory, or else doing it with friends, or even strangers. That is considered acceptable to all. Right?

Wrong.
It's not acceptable to all, very few indeed.

The woman may not want to leave her marriage because she doesn't want to break up the family, especially if the kids are small, but at least she has an outlet for her frustrations.

The man may not leave his marriage because he doesn't want to break up the family, especially if the kids are small, but he is left with no outlet for his frustrations.

Sex is a form of communication, a basic human need, especially to men. Just as sharing a conversation is to women.

Does society place unfair restrictions on one human need over another?
