People being gay or Lesbian, me personally I see nothing wrong with it, after all we dont live in the dark ages anymore and theres nothing more beautiful than seeing two people in love regardless which gender you are, live and let live,.......................

We all seek love; believing it will make us happy. Nothing can be further from the truth. Love on its own cannot make us happy and it is perfectly possible to be happy without it. Love is only one component of happiness.

Please note that I’m talking specifically about the love between a man and a woman here.

Happiness is not an emotion; it is a state of mind. But it does not come by itself. You have to work on it constantly. You have to make other people happy so they can contribute to your happiness as well.

We often confuse the euphoria of being in love with happiness. It only temporary blinds us from all the other things that make us unhappy. It will soon wear off. Our unhappiness with other things will have a negative impact on our love and pull it down as well. We have to be happy to enjoy unrestricted love.

Many things can make you unhappy but only you can make you happy. To be happy you must be satisfied with your life. You cannot claim to be happy while you hate your job, your house, or your sister-in-law. You have to identify and eliminate the things that make you unhappy. (Don’t eliminate your sister-in-law. It will bring more unhappiness. You won’t get away with 10 months.)

Take stock of the things that make you unhappy. Rectify the things that you can change, and then re-evaluate the things that you cannot change and accept that you cannot change it. Contentment is the first step towards happiness.

Love is not self-sustaining and does not bring lasting happiness, but it thrives on it. Work on your happiness and love will soon follow.


Remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Get a good start!

This blog is a figment of my imagination and it refers in its entirety to life in the jungle. Any parallels or similarities to other arenas or characters, no matter how vague, are probably either subconscious, deliberate or pure coincidence.

It is said that this happened at the time when there was no king in the jungle; it was ruled by gods who often turned a blind eye to the lesser sins of the animals in order to promote harmony but those stepping out of line big time were simply exterminated. You know how gods operate. Just Poof! And they were no more. Most were happy and lived in peace but some of the bigger apes felt that the gods were not consistent and that they applied double standards.

But then Hyena wanted to be king of the jungle and in his quest for the crown, he started bullying the other animals into admitting that he, Hyena, was king of the jungle. He had big bad Wolf (the same one that terrorized Red Riding Hood) as an ally to enforce his claim to the throne. Those who thought different were subdued by mauling them until they agreed that Hyena was King of the Jungle.

One day Hyena and his lieutenant walked into a clearing in the jungle to find a lot of animals gathered there. And he thought: 'How fortunate to have such a large audience to view a demonstration of my supremacy.' He was at the point of grabbing Monkey to force him into reaffirming his loyalties in front of all the witnesses when he saw Lion sleeping under a tree. He sneaked up to the sleeping Lion, kicked him in the face and barked: “Who is the king of this jungle?”

Lion woke up startled with a bleeding nose, grabbed Hyena in his mighty jaws and gave him a thorough mauling. Wolf still tried to interfere but Lion just shoved him aside before going back to sleep. The other animals, tired of the bullying, goaded hyena into further humiliation.

Hyena gathered himself off the ground with a lot of groaning and limped away tail between the legs and when he was at a safe distance he looked back over his shoulder and said to Lion: “You know, there was no need to resort to violence just because you did not know the answer to my question.”

When they were out of earshot Hyena looked at Wolf and told him what a shit ally he was for not helping when he was in trouble. Wolf looked at him perplexed and said: “But Your Majesty, you were laughing so much, I thought you were winning.”

When I observe all the mini-power plays and the continuous tugging at each other to obtain a better position in the pecking order, it amuses me every time. And it is so funny how the fun of one clan can be an annoyance to another clan.

There are so many lessons we can learn from this BS story but I think the most important is that sleeping lions are best left in that condition. These large felines like their naps and can be really unpleasant when disturbed.

The inside of my car is a disgrace. The dashboard is thick in dust and the floor is covered in grit; I can hardy see out of the windscreen when the sun is shining directly onto it. I’ve tried to make myself clean it but my pleas keep falling on deaf ears; I simply can’t be persuaded. I know I could have the car valeted but I refuse to pay somebody to do a job that I’m perfectly capable of doing myself. I’m at my wit’s end; what can I do to make myself clean my car?

Being a mere man & not particularly strong in the culinary department, I'm looking for some suggestions on how I might go about stuffing a bird this Christmas, I'm given to understand there are some procedures to go through before you can actually get on with stuffing, some I hear like to make sure the bird is thoroughly clean before rubbing olive oil all over the skin, any ideas

Should a blog have a conclusion or is it not possible to draw conclusions from a blog.
Where to start, at the beginning i guess, (although the word conclusion musters up the image of and ending).

Some OP's blog asking for opinions and advice, or simply asking a question, Many comments r then forth coming, but does the OP of that blog reach a conclusion after taking stock of all comments. If the OP does, then why doesnt they give the conclusion to the many bloggers that participated in helping them reach this conclusion.
Of course their r blogs that simply state an opinion, and comments fly back and forth trying to sway the OP's original opinion,
But we never know, cause the Op never publishes their conclusion.
Then there r blogs that may be about nothing and bloggers take this opportunity to then turn the blog into a chat room environment, conversing between each other, of course the occasional blog hijack appears as well, (EAT MORE CORN, & of late EAT MORE BROCCOLI) (yes guilty as charged bloggers, i hang my head in shame).
Can a conclusion be reached when this happens to a blog?
Then there is a blogger that often writes a satirical blog giving his thoughts on certain bloggers. Sometimes witty, sometimes overstepping the boundaries, but always garnishing many many comments, Does he/she then reach a further conclusion who knows, for that blog is gone from view for ever before a conclusion is reached.

Their r serial comment givers (again guilty ur honor) but also the party man, the Greek god, of course the ladies r always on the look out for their lady friends to say hi to, and our dear friend from Norway who appears to be always right, not sure how he manages this but he does, and the space man who speaks with a dialect few if any understand, My friend in space this is for u alone (We are here for a reason . . . but how do we get to the point where we can see and understand that reason (NOT JUST BE TOLD)? There is a timeless possibility that the conquest of our thoughts, the silencing of the mind, leads to this realization. Not to forget the valuable thought process. They seem to be linked; an immersion in silence has a fantastic effect on thought. Is understanding built-in? A wisdom from deep inside, covered by layers of mind?)

So should the OP publish his conclusion or not?
Which leads to when does a blog reach its conclusion
Is it after no comments have been made for 2 hours maybe, then the conclusion written?
Or should it be after it is banished to page 2 of the blogs, surely if it written then, no will bother to check for the conclusion

I was always under the impression that love and hate was the same emotion; just opposite ends of the scale but I was wrong.

I have learned that people can both love and hate somebody with the same intensity. This is more often so with women (no intention here of bashing women), while men rather tend to dislike.

Hate is a dangerous emotion and it consumes more energy than anything else. It will eat you up from the inside and spit you out as an empty shell when it has burned out, leaving you bitter and lonely. You can never be happy as long as you carry hate in your heart; it is all consuming.

When you love and hate the same person, nothing – not even the death of that person – can satisfy the urge for revenge. Death will only rob you of the object of your hate and leave you empty. Therefore you would help such a person if possible if his life was in danger.

When a man dislikes somebody intensely enough he will enter a stage of feeling nothing for that person. No love, no hate, no dislike, just nothing. The person would not exist in his life and he could not be bothered if the person was alive or not. A far more dangerous emotion or rather lack of emotion. He would literally feel nothing for the person.

If you walk around with hate in your heart, get rid of it; before it consumes you. It will imprison your heart and ransom your soul.
