Dinner For Six

Let’s stand still for a minute and imagine that there was a competition and you had won the first prize which is a dinner for six in a posh restaurant. It is to be a pure platonic outing and you may invite any 5 CS members to join you; all expenses – even airfares – paid.cheering

According to the rules, you may invite neither your lover nor anybody else you have met previously.scold

If I should win such a prize, I would suffer a small pang of regret for the one person I would really love to meet is no longer with us. When I first arrived here he was mounted on a horse and wore an equally fearsome horned helmet. Yes, you guessed it. Ms Delatude would have been my choice was he still here and if I could invite only one person. Alas, he opted to leave us and I miss the old geezer.sigh

But now he’s left and I can invite 5 friends. So who will it be? Five friends is cutting it fine and a lot of good friends are going to be left out; not because I don’t like them enough but rather because I am more inquisitive about the following people.grin

In alphabetical order:
Fotinia, Simmo, Ummka, Welela & Zmountainman.

They are 5 very different people but why them; what do they have in common with me? That is simple, they were all considered to be trolls at some stage. Guess what we will be talking about all night!rolling on the floor laughing

Ok, I left out a few other trolls but remember, I may only invite 5 people.dunno

Also note that these people were all here when I first arrived at CS and played an important part in my settling here. No offense to my other friends; When I win the competition again you will certainly be on my list next time.comfort

Why I lose my temper

I really should stay away from here, this place just makes me too angry. Stupidity and dishonesty are two of the worst things for making me angry, and there is an abundance of both here lately.

The dishonesty is in the videos and articles that get posted. Most of what is in them is shameless distortion of facts, and very often outright lies. The fact that they are dishonest is bad enough, but many are downright dangerous, or they would be if enough people believed them. To encourage people to ignore official rules and guidelines in the present situation is malicious. Encouraging people to act politically, prompted by lies and propaganda is malicious. Trying to frighten people into believing over religious fantasy with the threat of Hell and the Devil is malicious.

The stupidity is in the idiots who believe all this crap. They actually think they are being smart; can you believe that! They think they are one jump ahead of the government, the establishment, the mainstream media, the NWO. The morons are swallowing it all, hook, line and sinker. Who do they think is behind all this “truth” they are being given? What do they really know about these people who are “enlightening” them? What logical reason do they have to put even the slightest trust in them? Just because they are sceptical of officialdom, they seem to think that absolutely any information that confirms their suspicions must be the gospel truth, no matter how implausible or absurd it may be. They end up beating their chests and crowing about not being suckers, while all the while they are being exploited and manipulated by people far worse than their governments.

All this, on top of my having to go back to work on Tuesday, is simply too much. crying

What is your way?

To find a woman / man. U still looking at profiles by the search buttom? I remb in the beginning at cs thats all i did. And after a while i got a pretty painful neck and heavy lids. lol
Than by a coinsedence i found blogs.
Not claiming the lids dont get heavy at times still, but its different and better.

Anyw. I've become so lazy in my search duty's (im still here also ain't i crying )
that now i spend 94% blogging, 3% mailwriting with ppl i know,
1% looking if forums have anything better to offer (i usually return home within 5min) and the last 2% searching.

Well, if u're like me u hope for blogs and the nice ppl here to be the solution to all your needs! Question is, are we deluding yourselves a bit perhaps. Do we need to encourege each other to get searching abit more? Alternatively get started on the pairing up business. Maybe we can make a deal that averybody at blogs can without further delay rolling on the floor laughing visit each other at will with no heavy expectations. Hehe, je im a dreamer.

So here are the bloggers i want to visit:
Itchy, parti, tango, coffy, aswina, 10k, jana, swissy, oly, s-tan.
Also the new blogger from belarus, whats her name again? Lilja or sth. I'd open the door for her and pour the whitewine to make her feel like a woman. lol

I have a ticket to south africa johannesburg in mid december. I'll stay almost 3 weeks with Tango. We have spoken several months now (all the time since i met her at saryas party).

We may be the ones for each other, but we dont know til we met.
So whats the difficulties there u think? One must move.
Who can break up and move to fit in the other country without missing nothing from home. I think i can do it but i dont know what to start doing in an african country like that with no education. I will miss the sea (johannesburg, inland), must admit that. Perhaps the norwegian woods also.

But as i say; meeting we all should do more! And maybe abit more searching, and a tip: start closest to home and search outwords. Not like i did. I started in the other end and now that i got attached to ppl its harder to make worlds unite then if i'd find her in scandinavia or atleast europe. doh

teddybear

One last thing: to say that u dont meet real ppl here and have opportunetys i strongly disagree on. Maybe i have been lucky, but listen up: ive been at cs since march. I have only met one person in real life: Lets get our finger out of the hole and get moving soon. We only live twice, tops. SNAPP and its over! Ok?

So find the one YOU wanna visit soon!
Thats a direct order from Major Tom.

The Narsing Flower

Narkissos was a hunter who was known for his exceptional beauty. He treated those who fell in love with him badly because he thought he was better than everybody else.snooty

Nemesis, the god of vengeance, noticed this behavior and lured him to a pool, where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love himself. Blinded by his love, he jumped into the pool to get to his own reflection and drowned.sigh
Embedded image from another site

According to the Greek mythology, this story can have several endings. In one such ending, one of his victims named Liriope, a beautiful river nymph, was overwhelmed by her grief. She decided to join him in death by jumping into the pool after him. She drowned but her soul was trapped in the water. Once again, the gods intervened. Her soul was immortalized into a flower bulb, which took root at the edge of the pool.sad flower

Not only the origin of a beautiful flower in the daffodil family, but it also gave rise to another term. Narcissus is the Latin form of Narkissos and is the origin of the term narcissism, a fixation with oneself and one's physical appearance.professor

Some of the symptoms:
1-Hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults
2-An obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges
3-Vulnerability to shame rather than guilt
4-Flattery towards people who admire and affirm them
5-Detesting those who do not admire them
6-Pretending to be more important than they really are
7-Bragging subtly but persistently
8-Denial of remorse and gratitude
9-Self lamentation and looking for attention when insulted

Before this starts a new series of self-lamentations, this blog is not aimed at anybody and I categorically deny having called anybody a narcissist. Don't wear a shoe if it does not fit.scold

That title is reserved for only me. After all, the mirror in my passage kisses me every time I walk by. All I need to do is to bend over towards it to kiss back.grin

Recognise anyone?

It’s just a bit of fun, not looking to offend anyone, but have you ever spotted one or more of these female single types? I think there are a couple missing confused The guys on the other hand seem to boil down to two types, flirts or not flirts . . .

• The Onlooker – intrigued by what everyone else is up to, quick to give her opinion, coy about her own agenda. Most Onlookers put their status as ‘in a relationship’ or ‘not available’. In their bio they say things like Not looking Not looking although some opt for putting their age as 99 and insist they are looking for older men only. Onlookers can be drawn into public flirtation. They give advice, and it is often worth reading. rollers

• The Spiritual Soul – searching for love, but not just on the coarse physical plane. She seeks a soulmate, and wanders along the beaches (they nearly all live on beaches) thinking beautiful thoughts which she turns into poetry. She has frequent affairs which end when the potential soulmate would rather turn on the telly or go out for a pint than read yet another poem, and she realizes sadly that he is too of the earth to be The One. He is hustled out the door, immortalized in a poignant and regretful poem, and then forgotten. daydream

• The Incorrigible Flirt – she’s naughty and fun, with a teasing word for everyone, scattering lavish compliments and flirting outrageously. She’s not going to settle down in a hurry – and she very rarely meets up, either, although there is always at least one meet-up imminent. batting

• The Hardboiled Egg – hardly counts as a single because she never, ever meets anyone. She complains there are no real men left, certainly none in her locality, and deletes private messages instantly because all messages are ipso facto from scammers. talk to hand She makes disparaging comments in the public forums but gives good advice

• The Upgrader describes herself as single, but coyly admits in her first or second private message that she is in fact in a relationship / marriage but it isn’t working out. flirty

• The Pragmatist is perhaps the most honest of all. She wants a better life for herself, preferably marriage, and is offering good company and that she will look after her man. Most of them are in poorer countries and with limited English but to judge by the blogs, the men who accept that offer and import a Pragmatist are pleased enough. However, many who look like Pragmatists are of course scammers. It is a very fine line to define. Be warned, too, gents, that genuine Pragmatists often turn fairly promptly into Upgraders.hmmm

• The Nut – phew, how to define a nut? She starts off seeming sensible but scratch the surface and the lunacy bubbles up. Nuts range from quirky to full-blown fruitcake. The Fruitcake is scary - some are sensible in the mornings, wildly erratic in the evenings. Some become demanding, attack other women on the forums, publicly insult men who have backed away, take the mildest remark as either a deadly insult or a heartfelt declaration, and appear in every shape and form. They get weirder and weirder until the website managers delete their profiles.shock

A little bit of nut in everyone is a Good Thing. You can have too much of a Good Thing, though.

popcorn This is for fun - be nice cheers

WHICH RELIGION IS THE TRUE ONE?

When Joseph Smith asked God which church was the true one, the response was none of them.
The Mormon church then developed after the appearance of Moroney a messenger from space who instructed Smith to locate gold bound writings concealed in an area described to him. These writings were after translation returned, so no longer exist. They were apparently witnessed by a number of people to give them some authenticity. After a number of other appearances to Joseph Smith by other biblical characters,The Church of latter Day saints resulted.
So I'm afraid everyone else has been following the wrong church beliefs. Or are they?

ANCIENT ASTRONAUT THEORIES

This blog is for people who show intelligent thinking and ask questions to challenge religious leaders and the mainstream scientists views on the origin of life on this planet. Also the existence of extra terrestrial beings and their possible involvement with inhabitants of this planet.
This is not suitable for Men in Black. Or,
People with negative waves.
