my hat goes off to nam...his blog on early memories and songs and such ....what about the radio stations r now playing our songs on the oldies stations....geezzz....yuck...now i FINALLY understand old people...and there preoccupation w memeories...songs....styles and such....so here we go folks...maybe...what is one of your fav songs from your midlife which reminds u of the prime of your life or triggers memories....how about....will smith.s....the wild wild west...reminds me of dancing w some of my best friends i made as an adult!! ok your fav dance song....or fav memory evoker....u name it folks!!

The mountain to the east blocks the dawn but I can see the sunshine on the opposite slope and it is sliding closer as the shadow shortens

Swamie bumped my "LEAVE DONALD ALONE", blog posted just prior to Election Day '16 & it was interesting to see what was on the minds of folks as the Election From Hell was coming to an end - or so we naively thought at the time.

Some people count their blessings based on material wealth. I guess there is nothing wrong with that really.

For me, I count my blessings with my health (very active at 67, still do 100 push up a day), but most especially the love of my children, and my friends.

I have decided to go back and live permanently in California as I am now fully retired.

I will be very close to all my children and grandchildren and live very modestly and simply. Of course, I still hope to travel the world as I am accustomed to and just smell the roses and enjoy nature which I love very much.

My youngest daughter offered to drive with me and I am more than thrilled with this adventure.

We are leaving today, it takes at least two days before we get back home. I will not be able to baby sit this blog but thanks all for your read and or comment if any.

Our Constitution allows any responsible citizen to own a gun for protection.

Our founders of this country had in mind that our protection is as important as our lives.

Some people think it should be changed because it's causing criminals to make killing faster and easier.

Really?

My question is, are these criminals not able to access these guns if this law is changed?
I don't think so.

This is my first blog - so please be gentle with me!

While perusing posts on the blogs, I have noticed how member's personalities become exposed over time. It seems to me, that this sort of interaction is a much better way of getting to know someone, rather than just by profile alone.
Members can hide their true personality in a profile, or even when communicating by email with other members on the site. However, blogging has a way of revealing that which might otherwise be hidden.
With that in mind, would it not be a good idea to make it compulsory, to post at least one blog every couple of weeks/months? That way, other members can read the blogs and find out a lot more about someone they may be interested in. It would certainly weed out the scammers!

Just a thought!

We have the same scheme here, We want our people back and working for our country.
